EEza FaizalWe had great time at Tenir Eco. At first, im a bit worried as im unsure how to go up and bring luggages direct from airport since we arrived direct from istanbul trip. But actually its quite easy. The hotel arranged to bring luggages up to hotel with payment of 5000 tenge(from shymbulak station to hotel reception). U have a choice to bring it yourslef but mind you that it is quite slippery from combi 2 to reception. So if u want to enjoy the moment just ask the hotel to bring the luggage for u.
The hotel will give QR code for cable car ride from Medeu station to combi 1-combi 2 and back down. If u want more can ask them to buy for you. Around 4000 tenge.
The hospitality is amazing , they provided all the necessity. And fast action too. They fixed the netflix so we could enjoy our 2nights stay. And although -12celcius was a challenge but the room got quite nice heat ‘ and u can always heat urself in the bathroom sauna, even the floor was heated. So we never feel tortured with the weather.
Bring some food for dinner if u dont want to spend time going down too much. And u can heat it in sauna as well🙈. Host (ingkar) was a very nice person. He gave us two nice cheesecakes since netflix took time to be fixed.
We stayed in Room Tenir 10 which was the last end room with nice romantic vibe and view. There’s night skiing and the skiers sometimes stop and wave to us while we watch them pass by. We also hike to nearby mountain and enjoy the scenery. It is super cold during winter and like a dream come true stay for us.
As per going back you can request them to bring down luggage as well with same 5000 tenge tilk symbulak station. The food at syn32 also yummy n good. Go try the blueberry mint tea with mountain view. Its amazing. U can ski in ski out from the room itself. Sunset is perfect as well. I will return again in future. Perfect stay in Shymbulak 3200m…. Never regret it.
And may try the paragliding as well. Looks fun too!

GGuest UserMixed feelings. Great location and lovely staff! But we had a room where the TV wasn’t working. First night they told us they can only fix it the next day. Then the next day they said they can only do it the next day again. Plus this was after my multiple phone calls, it seemed that the maintenance team just ignored us. And the reception offered a 20% discount on room services as apologies for the long wait. In the end as they can’t do anything, I asked if we could change room. So we got a new room… with a half working tv… but with broken aircon… we called reception and was told they can control it from their end. Still not working. So we went out for dinner and asked them to check it out. When we returned, there were technicians in our room fixing the air conditioner. And we sat around outside for an hour before it was fixed. In the end, after hassling the whole day we finally had a working room at 9pm…
All the staff were very polite and tried hard to resolve the issue. But I feel everything in a room should be working before guests check in. alternatively we did ask to change room again but not sure why that wasn’t considered but instead they want to keep us waiting around for another hour in the lobby.

GGuest UserPerfect stay at the Novotel city centre, upon checking in Armand at reception noticed it was my daughter’s birthday few days ago so he gave my daughter & son as toy gift which was very sweet! The hotel has decent clean rooms & it’s in the perfect location, the Koke tobe cable carts are next door & Dostyk mall is a 15mins walk away. The hotel had a great breakfast spread with fresh pastries and a variety of food choices, lunch & dinner menu can be improved a little but still ok it just has a limited variety. Unfortunately, the pool & spa was under maintenance so was not open so we couldn’t use. Also thanks to Armand we got a late check out for both our rooms! A very nice jolly chap!

Sss_pumThe bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit cramped and there wasn't much space to open luggage. However, the location is great! We could easily walk around the city to see the church and market, and it was a short walk to the cable car up to Koktobe. The hotel is very easy to spot right on the main road, with plenty of food and coffee shops nearby and across the street. The breakfast had a good variety, although it did get repetitive since we stayed for 6 nights. They cleaned the room and changed the linens daily.

KKseniy_KsyuThe hotel completely lives up to its name – it's incredibly cozy, I'd even say home-like. The staff treats you like family, very sweet and pleasant. I especially remember the security guard who helped with luggage in the rain, leaving a very positive impression. The rooms are clean, and housekeeping is thorough. The location is also very convenient – about a 10-15 minute walk to the center. The breakfasts are good too, with plenty of choices and everything delicious. Excellent value for money, I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!

GGuest UserThis Chinese business hotel is decent overall. The location is quite convenient, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast was very much to our Chinese taste, with a good variety, including hot congee, which made for a very comfortable meal.
The biggest drawback was the terrible soundproofing, which made our stay quite annoying. Every night around 10 or 11 PM, there would always be inconsiderate guests shouting and chatting loudly in the corridor, completely disregarding others' rest. In the mornings, various noises would start early, making it impossible to get good sleep.
I honestly suggest the hotel put up ”no loud noise” signs in the hallways and manage guests a bit more in the evenings. Otherwise, no matter how good the breakfast is, with all this noise, the overall guest experience is really diminished.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel because it was near to the airport, and being only 20 minutes away made for a great stopover between flights.
That said, the hotel itself has plenty to offer. The rooms are nice and clean. We actually had an issue where we had too much hot water which is sort of the opposite problem of what you'd expect. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also had plenty of water coolers around to refill bottles, which is a nice touch not all hotels would offer. We didn't use the pool, but we saw that it was large and plenty of people were using it. Breakfast was simple, but did enough to cover all the bases.
All in all, would recommend a stay here. Especially if you're looking for somewhere near the airport to crash.

There are a couple of restaurants on the ground floor, and a free breakfast buffet for guests. There is also a sauna and a hammam at the lower ground level. Overall, a good stay experience at this hotel.

GGuest UserMy stay at the Wyndham hotel was decent overall. The location was super convenient, making it easy to grab a bite or catch a taxi.
The room itself was a bit small and felt cramped. The hotel facilities were noticeably old, with outdated furniture and appliances that weren't particularly well-maintained.
However, there were some definite highlights. The breakfast spread was incredibly varied and tasty – I left feeling very satisfied. Plus, the hotel had a gym with all the basic equipment, which was great for a quick workout to unwind.
Overall, its strengths are the excellent location, the wide breakfast selection, and the gym. But if you're bothered by small rooms and old facilities, you might want to consider other options.
