Very Good
PPhilaI stayed at this hotel for a few nights and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I checked in after midnight following a long day of travel and, being exhausted, didn’t double-check whether I’d been given the room I actually paid for. The next morning, I woke up early for a 5am bike tour and noticed something felt off, but I was too tired to fully process it. When I returned from the tour and tried to nap, I was woken by loud noise from the hallway, followed by a call from reception saying someone needed to come into my room to fix the air conditioning—something I wasn’t even aware was an issue. I was half-asleep but let them in because they insisted.
The next morning, I was woken up again—this time by very loud noise from the room next door. I finally checked my booking on Trip.com and realized I hadn’t been given the room I reserved, which included a city view. I went to reception and explained the issue. The man at the front desk told me very bluntly that the hotel prioritizes placing families in rooms next to each other and that, because I was traveling alone, I was not a priority. That’s why I didn’t get the room I paid for.
This was extremely disappointing—not only because I didn’t receive what I booked, but also because of the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled. I understand that room adjustments happen, but to downgrade a guest without informing them, then justify it by saying they’re “not a priority” is simply unacceptable.
The location is great, but unfortunately, the service and disregard for guest comfort left me feeling very unwelcome.
GGuest UserI had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hostel! The facilities are top-notch and the environment is very well-maintained, but what truly stands out is the staff.
On my first night, I struggled to sleep due to a loud snorer in my room. When I brought this up the next morning, the team was incredibly understanding and professional—they seamlessly moved me to a different room without any hassle. I’ve slept like a baby ever since!
A special mention to the lady at the front desk—she is so kind and always greets you with a warm smile and a sweet 'Merci.' It’s those small, genuine interactions that made me feel so welcome in Paris. This place is proof that a hostel can be both high-quality and full of heart. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThere are paid luggage lockers available on Level 6 near the café area. I rented a medium-sized locker, as the large lockers were sold out. However, there was no clear indication of the locker dimensions prior to purchase. After completing the payment, I realized that the medium locker was not large enough to accommodate my 24” luggage. As a result, I had no alternative but to leave my luggage in a corner of the room.
I returned to the property to check in at approximately 8:30–9:00 PM. Upon approaching the front desk, the staff member informed me that her shift had ended and that her colleague was scheduled to take over. However, her colleague was not present at the counter and was reportedly at the Level 6 café, as seen on the CCTV monitor. I was asked to wait for more than 10 minutes, and in total, the process took approximately 15 minutes before she eventually assisted with registering my passport. While I appreciate that she completed the check-in for me, I was unclear why the registration could not have been handled immediately, as it only required a few minutes. Additionally, the staff member who was scheduled to be on duty did not appear during this time.
Overall, the room was clean, and I particularly like the curtains, which provided good privacy. Theres spaces to keep our shoes and luggages in the room, and remember to bring a lock padif you worried things might get stolen. The shared bathrooms were maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness. I had a pleasant four-night stay, and the location is very convenient, with easy access to the metro.
However, there are a few areas for improvement. It would be beneficial to have a small pantry area where guests could sit, relax, or have their meals. Providing basic amenities such as a microwave and a water kettle would also enhance the overall guest experience.
JJianrongPlease believe me this is definitely not the right choice, the service staff here is very nice but all the facilities in this hotel are too old, especially the elevator and stairs have very loud noise, the elevator is very difficult to use, the whole night I heard footsteps upstairs and downstairs and the children crying next door, I can't have a normal sleep and rest, it's really very inconvenient for some old people, I'm very Regret.
GGuest UserThe hotel is just in front of the station Gare du nord.Very easy and convenient to go anywhere to Eiffel tower,Louvre museum, and others from here either by bus, metro,Eurostar.U won't get lost.Just the lift for the hotel is a bit small. It can accommodate u and 2 big luggage one time. There is KFC beside the hotel and other cafes. The carrefour is behind the hotel. So u can shop some groceries or snacks also.
GGuest UserIt’s located in the 19th district, if you walk from the station Jaures you will pass by a ton of homeless tents and it’s not very safe at night. If you get off at Colonel Fabian is a one minute walk from the station. No towels provided but has toiletries. The room is clean and big. Staff is accommodating and friendl
GGuest UserI stayed at St Christopher's Inn Paris and while the service was great, my overall experience was disappointing.
There was very little consideration for other guests in the room. While some people were trying to sleep, others were making noise—eating and even brushing their teeth inside the room. Having a sink in the room itself turned out to be very inconvenient and disruptive.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a good night’s sleep at all. I understand that this is a budget hostel and you get what you pay for, but this was the first time I’ve had such a negative experience staying in a hostel. Usually, things are fine—but this one is a no from me.
Ssunju.imStaff are very friendly and extremely nice!
The room was also very big and spacious which is rare for Paris. And also location was so central was great.
But the bath tub was not clean and the room is quite old - you can tell by the walls for instance.
Would say pretty good value for money if you’re in and out a lot (so you’re paying for the location) but if you care about the room quality, then would consider other options in Paris.
LLew7sClean hotel, not far from gare du nord, about 10 mins by taxi. Takes about 30 mins to get to effiel tower from here though in peak times (via taxi) so not an ideal base if you’re going to that area.
We had a bunk bed and the kids loved it. Happy with the room overall.
WWoshiqingwawayaThe hotel is conveniently located near three subway lines. Entry is via a code, which is handy. The room has heating panels – remember to turn them on, or it'll get chilly. The water pressure is great and the water is hot. The surrounding area feels very safe too. (Before I came, I saw some really bad reviews, but honestly, I think it's comparable to a 300-400 yuan room back home in terms of quality.)
