AAnonymous UserI booked a room like the one shown in the picture for 2 nights. It stated that check-in was available after 2:00 PM. I arrived to check in after 2:00 PM, but when I called, the staff informed me that the room I had booked had already been given to someone else because they couldn’t reach me by phone. My phone number is a Thailand number, and I did not receive any missed calls from the staff at all.
I did not cancel the booking, and I had only made the reservation one day before my stay because I saw that there was availability. The app no longer allowed me to request a refund, and they also refused to offer any discount.
As a result, I had to stay in a different room that was completely different from the one shown in the pictures, because I didn’t want to waste time looking for a new place and ruin my travel plans. It was only on the second day that I was finally moved to the room I had originally booked. However, I did not receive any compensation at all.
The staff also asked me to cancel the booking in the app and book directly with them instead, even though the app no longer allowed me to request a refund.
Ps. I booked the white room shown in the picture, but on the first night I was given a different room with green walls like the one in the picture instead.

GGuest UserThe room was pretty good, and it's quite close to the train station, making travel very convenient. The environment is also nice, and transportation is well-developed. Han Le Fang is right downstairs, and it's also quite close to the food street. The front desk service was also good.

XXiaolanyidiandianThe location of the hotel is good, opposite the night market street, through the night market and then walk a long way, you can go to Weigao Square, there is also very lively, the hotel is not far from the happiness gate, travel is still very convenient. The hotel is economical, the price of the summer season is not cheap, more than 400 nights. Personally feel that there is something to improve in the operation of the hotel: the attitude of the hotel staff is warm, and guests will say hello when entering and leaving the hotel. Yes, the weather is hot, guests need two bottles of water at the front desk, the hotel will give it without stinging, but the front desk staff regrets that each room can provide two bottles of water a day, and can no longer give water. Two bottles of water are small things, but they are reduced in service. After all, the price is not cheap, right? I hope it can be improved.

GGuest UserVery good travel record, the landlord is very enthusiastic, the service is very good, we have four people, the landlord also washes our clothes and drys our clothes. The environment is also very good, you can rent an electric car outside the door. It is very close to the stranded giant wheel and it is very convenient to play. It is worthy of being the first homestay in Weihai.

TTAKAKAZUThe hotel is conveniently located within a few minutes' walk from Han Lok Fang. Check-in is not at the lobby on the first floor, but in a room on the upper floor. There is no free parking, but parking is available around the hotel building. The rooms are not large, but the location and price are good. There is delicious Korean food on the first floor of the hotel building.

GGuest UserVery good, the price is particularly high, the room is very complete, the boss also upgraded me to a room that can see the sea, the window is facing the sea, the experience is super good 👍, it is also close to the 8th Street of the torch, you can walk, in short, this time luck is very good, set a good hotel, The proprietress is also very gentle and beautiful. If she doesn't understand anything, she will patiently tell me that she will come to her house next time she comes to Weihai.

GGuest UserWhile primarily catering to domestic travelers, this hotel is more than willing to accommodate international guests. The staff demonstrates genuine attentiveness and helpfulness, with smartphone translation apps facilitating smooth communication.
Key Features:
Responsive Personnel: Friendly and attentive staff ready to assist
Regional Considerations: Some local specifics, such as unique bathroom design (note: after taking shower water would be everywhere in the bathroom)
Electrical Setup: Non-universal sockets (EU plugs incompatible), but USB ports available throughout.
Laundry Facilities: Complimentary self-service laundry on-site
Meal Options: Breakfast available (additional charge), but not suitable for everyone’s taste. If it wouldn't suit you, you can find alternative place to eat.
Location Benefits:
- Walking distance to promenade and shopping centers
- Taxi required for beach access
Overall, considering its affordable rates and convenient location, I confidently recommend this hotel for accommodation, especially for those who prioritize location over luxury amenities. Just be prepared for some regional specifics.

GGuest UserAlthough I didn't book a sea-view room, I could still see the sea from the room. The location is great, right across from Shandong University, and there are several convenience stores downstairs, which is very convenient. The room was also very spacious, far exceeding my expectations. The receptionist was also very friendly and politely explained all the important information. It was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Weihai.
PS: Weihai is absolutely beautiful!

KKuailexiaotianlangxingThe price of 200+ during the May Day holiday is really conscience, and it perfectly avoids the bustling crowds.
We took the train to Weihai Station at 1:30 pm, and went straight to Liugong Island when we arrived at the station, because the history of the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 must be told to the children. Other attractions are left to chance. The last boat to Liugong Island is at 3 o'clock, and there were not many people queuing for the boat when we went to the island.
Check in first when you get to the island. Liugong Island Hotel is next to the cable car station and Dingyuan Ship. The No. 4 Courtyard we booked is not far away. It is the former site of the Beiyang Navy Hospital. There are two rows of bungalows in the courtyard, and the kang room is very distinctive. Before closing, we visited the Sino-Japanese War Exhibition Hall and Dingyuan Ship. After the last boat leaving the island at 6 pm, there were not many people on the island. We just played at the beach.
In the evening, there is nothing else for children to play except the scenery of the island. To watch the sunset, you have to go to the westernmost part, and to watch the sunrise, you have to go to Donghong Fort. I didn't go with my two children to join in the fun. I thought it was unnecessary to stay overnight, but after taking the Grand Island Tour Bus early the next day, I gradually felt that there were too many people. I basically finished the tour and got off the island around 10 o'clock, and then I realized how wise it was to stay on the island. People waiting to get on the boat took pictures from the pier to the tourist center.
The service staff of Liugong Island Hotel are very enthusiastic, and the dinner in the restaurant is delicious and not expensive. It is very good. It is recommended to move up the breakfast time to 7 o'clock, but the island cruise starts at 7 o'clock. If you eat slowly and catch up with the crowd, you will not have the advantage of staying on the island. 😁
