The hotel service was very attentive; they noticed we were doing laundry and promptly provided laundry detergent and a drying rack. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and the hotel is conveniently located near the beach. Overall, my experience was great. The only confusing aspect was the pricing, which seemed to fluctuate significantly. I booked from July 28th to August 2nd at an average rate of 946, but when I checked online on the 31st, the price was 722."

RRob from SydneyI have been living in China for five years and have travelled extensively in that time. This is one of my favourite hotels I have stayed in. The staff are all kind, friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is in a wonderful, central location close to many interesting activities and attractions. The room was very comfortable with a fantastic view. Breakfast was excellent. So was the lunch buffet on the 6th floor, and dinner in the restaurant on the 20th floor. I hope to return soon.

VVincent PernellThis has been the best hotel I’ve stayed at throughout my visits to Weihai. In terms of cleanliness, location, and comfort this has met all of my needs. One major thing that I enjoyed was the friendliness of all of the workers there, as a foreigner this made a huge difference and made checking in extremely comfortable and easy, everyone was very kind and helpful. Directly across the street there’s a big shopping mall, plenty of restaurants and English is also spoken by a few members as well. Will definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserWeihai is a beautiful city, and the Sunshine Hotel where I stayed also brought me a pleasant mood. The hotel is located in the north of Huancuilou Park, with a quiet environment. Going east is the bustling Zodiac Street and Weigao Square, and the night market is particularly lively. The hotel also upgraded the standard for free. What touched me most was that when I checked out, I asked to check the room, and the beautiful lady at the front desk said, no, we don’t need to check for guests. This kind of trust is rare and also represents the overall quality and humanistic feelings of Weihai. If I have the opportunity to come to Weihai again, I will still choose Sunshine Hotel.

The DoubleTree by Hilton, however, stands out because it's a Hilton property, offering a more dependable and standardized experience. Its location is excellent: right next to Weigao Plaza and directly opposite the scenic seaside and the iconic Gate of Happiness, perfect for leisurely walks and with convenient access to various dining options. Service throughout our stay was also very good. While the breakfast spread isn't extensive, the quality and taste are excellent. The only minor drawback is that breakfast service only begins at 7 AM, which might not be ideal for early risers or those with tight travel schedules. Aside from that, everything else was superb.
