The attitude of everyone I met is also very good and not perfunctory! "Coming during the off-season meant fewer people and a peaceful atmosphere. The ocean-view room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows, so I could watch the sunrise and sunset right from bed. There was also a big bathtub, and they even provided disposable bath liners, which was a real treat. I brought my dog along this time, and he loved it too, constantly sitting by the bed staring at the sea – he was so happy! But more than the room, I absolutely adored the hostess! She's like a walking encyclopedia of Weihai! Every day, I'd just bug her for recommendations, skipping all the planning and getting to try all sorts of delicious food. It was perfect for a lazy person like me; I just arrived, relaxed, and enjoyed the food and sights! Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend it!"

"Traveling to Weihai, I stumbled upon the New Journey Hotel and was absolutely blown away! It's located right in the old city center, next to the Weigao Plaza commercial area, surrounded by tons of unique old shops, authentic Korean restaurants, and local home-style eateries – you can find them everywhere. It's just a three to five-minute walk to the beach, and the morning market is only about a kilometer away. I booked day by day and ended up staying for five consecutive days. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful, always helping me find the best price options. The room was clean and tidy, with all the facilities you could need, and a warm breakfast was included. I only planned a short stay, but I loved it so much that I found it hard to leave Weihai."

"The room was spacious and bright, with a full-wall window offering stunning sea views. I could sit and watch the ocean for hours each day, feeling completely rejuvenated. Weihai in winter wasn't even that cold; I could enjoy the sea breeze and watch the sunrise from the balcony. The guesthouse manager and cleaning staff were incredibly helpful; I could contact them directly without needing to go to a front desk, which I really appreciated. Downstairs was also very convenient, with a 30-year-old local restaurant serving delicious, home-style food – it was a really comfortable dining experience. The staff there were so warm and welcoming, always smiling. Along the coast, there were also coffee shops, a supermarket, and even a KFC for breakfast. As for the sea itself, haha, I won't even try to describe it; some things are just meant to be kept in your heart. Happy New Year 2026!"
