The breakfast is decent – not super refined, but better than just steamed buns, eggs, and pickles. Overall, it's definitely a good choice. The hotel is very secluded, and there's a small convenience store nearby. It's great for kids to run around in the courtyard downstairs.

The views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer. The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

The hotel complex is nestled against the mountains and by the sea, with excellent landscaping – every step offers a new beautiful view. The room was clean and dry, and the bedding was soft and very comfortable to sleep in. The staff were friendly and responsive to any issues. The beach is right outside, perfect for a relaxing stroll and sea breeze, which was incredibly therapeutic. The facilities are comprehensive, and the resort has a wonderful vacation vibe. I highly recommend it for anyone vacationing in Rongcheng!
