The location of the hotel is amazing, right by the sea. Just a few steps from the east gate of the hotel, you can reach the seaside park. You can walk along the long walking trail after dinner, listen to the sound of the high tide hitting the shore, and breathe the breath of the ocean. There are often groups of urban walking groups here, fortunately they don't occupy the lane. The rooms are spacious and bright, clean and tidy, with reasonable furniture configuration. As soon as you enter the door, you can see the classic single sofa with a side table to look at the sea. Order a cup of coffee downstairs, sit here and watch the ships coming and going at the opposite dock, the white clouds passing by, and the water and sky in the distance, which is relaxing and comfortable. The 180° curved floor-to-ceiling window in the bedroom directly overlooks the sea, which is the king bomb. The super large bathroom, the shower equipment temperature and water flow are very good, and the huge bathtub in the back room, buff bonus washes away the fatigue of travel. Secondly, the sanitary environment is very good. The bedding and linens are tidy. When I checked in, the castle was installing an elevator, but the tables and chairs in the room were still spotless. This B&B is located on a slope and is a single-family three-story white building. If you are driving by yourself, you can park on the side of the road, but it is not particularly convenient if you have a lot of luggage.
The lobby on the first floor is beautifully decorated and has a sense of slow life. The two girls were in charge and helped carry our luggage. They also enthusiastically recommended places to eat, drink and play in the surrounding area. They also recommended that we go to Heqing Pier to buy fresh seafood.
I booked a mountain view king bed room on the second floor. The room is quite large and has a small balcony. But there is basically no mountain view, because there are buildings nearby. There are also cute little tea sets prepared in the room, as well as squid shreds given to hotel guests, which is thoughtful.
The room size is not large, but the basic facilities are all available, and necessary items are provided free of charge. The mattress is on the hard side and not particularly comfortable to sleep on. The shower room in the bathroom uses a curtain, which doesn't seem to work very well. Water always leaks out from underneath. Furthermore, the shower water pressure is very low, so you may have to use water at off-peak hours. I stayed for two nights during the National Day holiday. The children next door were very noisy on the second night and I didn't sleep well.

Take the children to Lishui B&B for a holiday on May 1st. Opposite is the beach. Push the door to go to the first floor to drink coffee and eat small cakes to make handicrafts. There are also several cute cats walking around. The children like it very much. After playing outside for a day, it is also very fun to interact with the kittens. The reason why the hygiene is rated low is mainly because, before leaving, my child asked me, ”Mom, why is there water in this cup?” There was nothing else. I opened it and saw that there was indeed water and ** in it. There was scale on the floor under the hotel's sink. It is not certain whether it is mopped clean, but it can be removed with a special remover. In the drawer of the TV cabinet, there is an opened sewing kit with a plastic bag still thrown in it. I feel that the hygiene can be done better.
A good thing is that when I arrived at the hotel, I was specially upgraded to a room with sea views on both sides, which made me very happy.

We took the train to Weihai Station at 1:30 pm, and went straight to Liugong Island when we arrived at the station, because the history of the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 must be told to the children. Other attractions are left to chance. The last boat to Liugong Island is at 3 o'clock, and there were not many people queuing for the boat when we went to the island.
Check in first when you get to the island. Liugong Island Hotel is next to the cable car station and Dingyuan Ship. The No. 4 Courtyard we booked is not far away. It is the former site of the Beiyang Navy Hospital. There are two rows of bungalows in the courtyard, and the kang room is very distinctive. Before closing, we visited the Sino-Japanese War Exhibition Hall and Dingyuan Ship. After the last boat leaving the island at 6 pm, there were not many people on the island. We just played at the beach.
In the evening, there is nothing else for children to play except the scenery of the island. To watch the sunset, you have to go to the westernmost part, and to watch the sunrise, you have to go to Donghong Fort. I didn't go with my two children to join in the fun. I thought it was unnecessary to stay overnight, but after taking the Grand Island Tour Bus early the next day, I gradually felt that there were too many people. I basically finished the tour and got off the island around 10 o'clock, and then I realized how wise it was to stay on the island. People waiting to get on the boat took pictures from the pier to the tourist center.
The service staff of Liugong Island Hotel are very enthusiastic, and the dinner in the restaurant is delicious and not expensive. It is very good. It is recommended to move up the breakfast time to 7 o'clock, but the island cruise starts at 7 o'clock. If you eat slowly and catch up with the crowd, you will not have the advantage of staying on the island. 😁

However, these advantages are not enough to cover up the lack of service--First: Check in at 4 pm, there are clowns in the lobby blowing balloons for children, and our children also join the queue. It was a good thing, but after queuing for ten minutes, they were told that the time was up and asked the children not to queue up. The children in the queue behind were very disappointed, and the hotel did not take any remedial measures. Even if a small balloon was given to each person, the children would be very happy. There were five or six children in the queue behind, and they just dispersed. So speechless~~ Second: The front desk staff who checked in was cold and had a sullen face as if they owed her money. They neither informed the basic information such as breakfast time, restaurant and elevator location, nor informed the guests of the benefits of staying (the room booked had a bathing ticket, but the front desk staff did not mention it at all).
