Hi, I enjoyed my stay, the couple who runs the place is very nice and friendly. The rooms on the ground floor are a bit small as it is an old house, but it has everything you need, for me location is very important and this is the best! It's located in a very small lane very near to west street, if you come by taxi or bus, ask to be dropped near the bell tower as cars are not allowed into west street, from there walk 5 minutes into west street, it's the first lane on the left, there is a starbuck's trailer at the corner of the lane and a lawson supermarket in front of it, the g.h. is number 66, 15 m' on the left into the lane.

Overall it is quite good.
The environment in the center of Luojiang District is good, close to the district government organs, eat a lot, close to the bus station, convenient transportation. (How is it a bit like answering the geography question of the college entrance examination.)
Good service, check-out time is 14:00 for people who have nowhere to put themselves on rainy days.
Good health, but unfortunately there are mosquitoes, mosquito coils are useless.
Downstairs is the kindergarten, said good call in a full of childish laughter to usher in a new day, said bad call after 7:30 is impossible to sleep late.

GGuest UserI personally think that the boss's service is very good. On my first day, he sent me a guide and recommended delicious meals. He also made a local breakfast for us (I didn't eat it because I was shy). I asked the boss for the WeChat of renting an electric bike, and she actually gave me her bike for free for two days. We can chat and drink tea together. I think the service is really good.
The room is cost-effective, but one thing is that because this is the first day I stayed, I renewed the lease and changed the room. The bathroom leaked a little, but it didn't affect it.
Overall, the house is cost-effective, I like it very much, and I can talk to the boss very well (I forgot to take pictures, sorry, because I think it's pretty good)

GGuest UserThe location is relatively close to the ancient city, and it is convenient to visit several museums. I took a taxi to West Street, checked in at the seven-colored erythrina snake along the way, and visited several famous streets in the ancient city. Finally, I checked in at the Tianhou Temple. It was quite close to take a taxi back. There is a parking lot under the B&B (the owner will take you to park, and it's free, which is really hard to find free parking in the surrounding accommodations). The room was very clean and tidy as shown in the picture. I forgot to take a picture, but it was really tidy. There is a row of restaurants behind the accommodation, living facilities are very complete, and the food court is also nearby. The price of the B&B is very affordable and the owner is very welcoming. I originally booked one night and later booked another night.

JjitpabanfilmsI was drawn in by the great reviews of this place so decided to book it for our trip to Quanzhou - so the plus is that the location is indeed central, and if you are a solo traveller or a couple the room is definitely big enough for you.
We booked the Loft family room and found it a little cramped as there isn't seating like a sofa or anything, just a desk and a chair. The toilet design was also a little odd as the door is a glass door with just a short swathe of frosting/decal to cover the midsection. Again, OK if you are alone or a couple but otherwise just weird.
Staff were responsive if you could get hold of them, the cleaning was sporadic in that it wasn't very thorough and sometimes things weren't replenished.
Note that the location of the hotel is in an alleyway, not accessible by car. You have to drag your luggage on a cobbled street for almost 100m or so to get to the main entrance.

The architectural style of the ancient house is full of strong historical charm. I like it very much. The room is comfortable, clean and quiet. There is a treasure tea room in the ancient house. The owner has collected many old objects and old teas, as well as many oolong tea varieties that have never been heard of. The most memorable thing is the owner. He is very good at telling stories and understands the local culture and customs very well, which makes people have a deeper understanding of this land. It is worth living here. Let’s talk about the surroundings:
There are many small restaurants in the surrounding area. It is more than ten minutes away from West Street and the Confucian Temple, and about twenty minutes away from Kaiyuan Temple. You can walk in the alleys to see the history and appreciate the cultural heritage.
Detailed description of the mansion:
The service staff knows the check-in time before the guests check in, and turns on the electric heater in the room in advance to increase the indoor temperature. Good service 👍
The room is larger than expected. Although the window is a bit small, the seating area and work area are sufficient. Economical price👍
The furnishings in the public areas of the mansion basically retain the ancient home style, fully demonstrating the interactive integration of multiple cultures. Unique style👍
Let’s talk about the shortcomings:
There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room on the first floor. It was still raining in Quanzhou in early March, and people almost froze to death, but the mosquitoes were not dead🙄️
The temperature of the hot water was not quite high, and it was not very hot even after being left there for a long time. Because it was quite late, I did not contact the service staff. Maybe other rooms do not have this problem.

红红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

DDooraReally enjoyed my stay here, front desk was very helpful in answering our questions. There's also a dog and cat (so cute) and if you have any questions you can add them on WeChat and they'll answer you quite fast :) Do take note that there is no lift and you'll need to climb the stairs. There's also self-service washing machine at the back which you'll need to pay to use. Free baggage drop and there's a very big lounge area which is very suitable if you are traveling with friends or looking to make new friends. The bunk beds are usually on the first level.
It's a bit far from convenience stores but you can order in takeout (they'll deliver to the front desk and you'll need to pick it up) else there's also some cafes and restaurants around the area. For cheaper eat you'll need to walk out abit more but it is still within a walkable distance. Although there's also someone singing at night from the nearby cafes, I do feel that the soundproofing is done well and couldn't really hear much after closing the door.

This homestay can grab Didi anytime.The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay. The owner of this homestay is super helpful and friendly. As my luggage damage in airport, owner help me to get a new luggage online and get it just within a day. The homestay even provide us disposable towel ,face towel , tooth brush and tooth paste everyday. And no need worry about shampoo and body shampoo too. Hassle free and can bring less item if u stay in this homestay. The hotel location is great to grab breakfast and supper too. Some within walking distance restaurant I will put in photo. And 小白车u can take from this homestay to many travel attraction just rmb 2. All in all, this homestay is good value for money and i would like say thank you to the owner of this homestay for the pleasant stay during my trip. Definitely we will come back again Quanzhou just want stay in Lanxin courtyard only.
