"Fantastic friendly family run hotel just behind several key Quanzhou sites including the mosque. A small lane will take you feom the hotel directly there in a matter of minutes, (and surprisingly past a small statue of Godzilla next to the canal). Nearby is many good places to eat, and a cafe called Debut. The hotel room was very clean - the towels were spotless. The hotel blends local Quanzhou style with the boss ' own personal history as a Kung Fu master. It was interesting to see the bosses' sporting achievements in reception and then again have that theme come through in the room's taichi wall hanging. The hotel's wooden frontage is also very beautiful. All in all, great place to stay"

"We originally booked one night before coming here and felt that it was very comfortable to stay here. So we booked two more nights to experience the slow life in Quanzhou. Unexpectedly, after booking more than three nights here, the owner of the B&B treated us to local Fujian food in the courtyard. The little white dog is very cute. You can play games with the puppy and take photos with the puppy. The puppy is very cooperative and even laughs at the puppy that casually ravages it ~ The B&B has its own tea room and you can make tea in the yard. We even had tea with the owner. My daughter made tea together. The garden was also very beautiful. I also took photos in the garden. The whole family was very enthusiastic and talkative. Living here made me feel like I was at home, and I didn’t feel restricted at all. Moreover, this is actually the place where Li Xian filmed! I will come to Quanzhou next time. "Super atmosphere homestay, excellent location, just on Quanzhou's most famous West Street, there is a car rental 10 meters away, 4 hours 30 is particularly cost-effective, basically all the recommended snack bars on the Internet. "I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit. In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff. 1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient. 2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times. 3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way. Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily. If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice."

"We had a nice stay for 2 nights in this little, historic place in the heart of old Quanzhou. The courtyards are very beautiful. The rooms are renovated and clean. The owner is helpful. No English but this is expected in a small place like this, and this is more authentic! One thing we did not like was that they only provide one-time use shower towels that are not comfortable to use. Parking in Quanzhou is not very convenient as this is an old city. We managed to find spots about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. It was no problem for us but be aware of it."

"This homestay is really nothing to say, all the equipment is the most advanced, the toothbrush is long soft hair, the paper towel is thick, not perfunctory. The projection is a large screen and there are many VIPs to use. The room area is also very large. The sanitation is super good. The quilt is the kind of home feeling. It is not the kind of tide and tight broken quilt in the hotel. It is highly recommended that Room 3 has a balcony and it feels special. We called at 8 o'clock in the morning and immediately checked in. The password lock is particularly convenient. There is a coffee shop downstairs. It is super close to Yuan Temple! ! "The room was very clean. The four of us lived in a large suite, two girls, two boys, one, independent into a hospital, very private, very suitable for couples and friends to party when traveling.  There is a wooden table in the yard, just four people on one side, and friends chat at night, which has a special flavor.  The homestay is relatively deep and difficult to find, but it can be more tangible to experience the fireworks of old Quanzhou . The owner of the homestay is warm and gentle, and it gives people a sense of practicality when talking and doing things. It is very comfortable to live here. I hope that future travelers can also have such a wonderful experience."
