DDashanzhongdexiaokenaizhuThe hotel boasts a wonderful, new environment with a modern minimalist design. Its location is superb, ideally situated near Kaiyuan Temple and West Street, with an abundance of fantastic eateries nearby. Despite the lively surroundings, the hotel itself offers a tranquil retreat; once you step through its doors, you'll find absolute peace and quiet.
The hotel's attention to detail is impressive. For instance, on hot days, the lobby thoughtfully provides complimentary purified water and handcarts for guests to help themselves. We especially loved the hotel's custom-made incense, which had an incredibly soothing aroma.
They even provide guests with a fantastic 'eat & explore' guide, packed with useful tips and recommendations. We followed their suggestions for dining, and every single meal was delicious!
Our suite featured incredibly comfortable bedding. The bathroom design was a major highlight, offering a very generous space, making bath time incredibly relaxing, and even included a dedicated makeup area – we were thoroughly pleased.
The service was also incredibly responsive to all our requests, with quick responses and detailed transportation guidance.
And I must mention the hotel's unbeatable rooftop view, offering clear sight of Kaiyuan Temple's East and West Pagodas – a truly spectacular panorama. In the evenings, you can enjoy movies, cocktails, and moon-gazing on the rooftop, which makes for a truly comfortable and special experience!

GGuest UserThe guesthouse boasts an excellent location, just off the main street and right on a vibrant creative street. I absolutely loved the overall decor and style; the owner clearly has impeccable taste. The room was spotless. A minor suggestion for next time would be to provide disposable bathtub liners. The service was outstanding. They had thoughtfully turned on the AC before our arrival, and the afternoon tea, along with the drinks and snacks, were absolutely delicious. My child still raves about the black truffle fries! The owner even went the extra mile by sending two complimentary drinks for my child, which was incredibly kind. This is the first time I've genuinely felt that staying in a guesthouse offers a more unique and enjoyable experience than a traditional hotel. Highly recommend!

ZZeederworldWe had a lovely one night stay Very helpful and friendly hosts who live in the adjoining building Location is perfect. In between West Street and Quanzhou Ancient City. About 20 to 30 mins walk to each direction.
The ginger duck dinner (10 mins walk) and taro fritter right at the back street of this mishu (both recommended by the host) were one of the best food throughout our Fujian trip. We appreciated the host allowing us to freeze our food and helped us arrange a driver to send us to Xiamen the next day. It's door to door at RMB70 per pax (if sharing the cab with others). Cheaper than didi + train + didi and less time consuming.
The room size is slightly on the smaller side but we don't mind as we were out all day. All the basic amenities needed are provided. Most important is its clean and comfortable.
As I booked using non-Chinese no and can't read Chinese, I did not receive notifications from host right after my Trip.com booking . We depended on Baidu map to guess the location after the taxi dropped us at the main road. Be prepared to walk 2 mins into small/back lane and to enter an unlock gate to enter the compound of 2/3 residential building cluster. A bit confusing for us but we managed to locate the minshu after 5 mins.
We wish we had more time for Quanzhou. Definitely worth at 2 nights. So much more to explore here.

GGuest UserI like it very much. The location is right in the West Street scenic area, but there is no noise at night. We chose the Quanzhou old house style, which has a unique flavor and the children especially like it. The owner is also very enthusiastic to provide travel tips. What is even more touching is that you can see the Kaiyuan Temple at dusk and night on the top floor, and there is a private space for taking pictures. I recommend this homestay. Attached are the photos taken by my husband. 😊

GGuest UserThe homestay is located in the Wudianshi scenic area. It is a very distinctive ancient house in southern Fujian. The architectural style of the ancient house is full of strong historical charm. I like it very much. The room is comfortable, clean and quiet. There is a treasure tea room in the ancient house. The owner has collected many old objects and old teas, as well as many oolong tea varieties that have never been heard of. The most memorable thing is the owner. He is very good at telling stories and understands the local culture and customs very well, which makes people have a deeper understanding of this land. It is worth living here. I will often recommend friends to stay here.

红红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

Take a taxi to the Quanzhou hotel and walk to the mansion in five or six minutes.
Let’s talk about the surroundings:
There are many small restaurants in the surrounding area. It is more than ten minutes away from West Street and the Confucian Temple, and about twenty minutes away from Kaiyuan Temple. You can walk in the alleys to see the history and appreciate the cultural heritage.
Detailed description of the mansion:
The service staff knows the check-in time before the guests check in, and turns on the electric heater in the room in advance to increase the indoor temperature. Good service 👍
The room is larger than expected. Although the window is a bit small, the seating area and work area are sufficient. Economical price👍
The furnishings in the public areas of the mansion basically retain the ancient home style, fully demonstrating the interactive integration of multiple cultures. Unique style👍
Let’s talk about the shortcomings:
There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room on the first floor. It was still raining in Quanzhou in early March, and people almost froze to death, but the mosquitoes were not dead🙄️
The temperature of the hot water was not quite high, and it was not very hot even after being left there for a long time. Because it was quite late, I did not contact the service staff. Maybe other rooms do not have this problem.
Cats can be more friendly😄

GGuest UserThis guesthouse was an absolute delight! The room was spotless and smelled fresh. The bedding was incredibly soft, ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, and check-in was a breeze. It's conveniently located close to both the bus station and the airport, making it easy to go out for meals and shopping. The value for money is exceptional. Definitely a five-star experience!

EEmily YingThis homestay is superb for me and my family member from Malaysia. The location is great and the pin location is accurate is u grab car from Didi.
This homestay can grab Didi anytime.The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay. The owner of this homestay is super helpful and friendly. As my luggage damage in airport, owner help me to get a new luggage online and get it just within a day. The homestay even provide us disposable towel ,face towel , tooth brush and tooth paste everyday. And no need worry about shampoo and body shampoo too. Hassle free and can bring less item if u stay in this homestay. The hotel location is great to grab breakfast and supper too. Some within walking distance restaurant I will put in photo. And 小白车u can take from this homestay to many travel attraction just rmb 2. All in all, this homestay is good value for money and i would like say thank you to the owner of this homestay for the pleasant stay during my trip. Definitely we will come back again Quanzhou just want stay in Lanxin courtyard only.
这家民宿对我和我来自马来西亚的家人来说太棒了。位置很好，如果你用滴滴打车，定位很准确。这里打车很方便。酒店对面的商店是老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科，稍后我会贴上图片供你参考。然后你跟着招牌走进小巷就能找到民宿。这家民宿 的主人非常乐于助人和友好。由于我的行李在机场损坏了，主人帮助我在网上买了一个新行李，一天之内就拿到了。民宿甚至每天为我们提供一次性毛巾、面巾、牙刷和牙膏。也不用担心洗发水和沐浴露。如果你住在这家民宿可以带更少的物品省略不少行李过重的麻烦。酒店位置很棒，三餐都能吃到好吃的食物。一些步行距离内的餐厅我会贴在照片里。而且从这家民宿乘坐小白车前往许多旅游景点只需 2 元人民币。总而言之，这家民宿物超所值，我要感谢民宿主人让我在旅途中住得愉快。我们一定会再来泉州，再次住在蓝馨。或许可以说是蓝馨让我爱上了泉州，这个充满人情味的民宿。
