First of all, the housekeeper Xiao Wu called and added WeChat to tell me the location of the hotel the day before check-in. Because it is a commercial street, the car cannot directly reach the hotel entrance! But it is also very convenient to walk in from Zhongshan Middle Road. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to West Street, which is very lively😀.
Secondly, I am very satisfied with the room type, and the smart toilet is also one of my favorite points.
Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, it is delicious. Watermelon praise😊
It is worth recommending to everyone. If you come to Quanzhou again, you will still stay in Xiangyu😊

TTrishyExcellent hotel all around. Service was excellent, especially the front desk staffs who were attentive and helpful to assist me with the locations of trains stations. We were also given a free room upgrade, which the room exceed our expectations with large windows and spacious area. The room was very clean and modern. Hotel is located near the airport and to some attractions. I honestly can not find anything to complain about this hotel. Value for money. We will definitely choose to stay at the hamptons again.

The location is fantastic, with abundant shopping and dining options nearby, including many well-established, historic eateries!!! The architectural design is remarkable, and the rooms are spacious and elegant, featuring premium bedding and advanced bathroom facilities (though I hope they could update the display screens on the smart TV, intelligent toilet, and bathtub).
The hotel service was highly professional, personalized, and meticulous, successfully creating a sense of exclusivity and privacy. I had originally booked a Deluxe King Room, but the hotel kindly upgraded me to a Deluxe Suite! This was a fantastic gesture. The night view of the river from the room was truly captivating.
Dining-wise, the hotel offers highlights such as Michelin-starred restaurants or specialty dining options. Both the breakfast and the hotel's other culinary offerings are truly worth experiencing, allowing guests to savor authentic flavors conveniently. (The hotel also has two other dining establishments.) Although I didn't dine at them, I explored the adjacent Wanda Plaza, where I enjoyed local dishes, snacks, and a meal at Wang Steak.
The facilities are top-notch, including a stylish swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym, and exclusive business spaces. I had planned to work out, but after a pleasant stroll exploring the area, I found myself too exhausted!
The suite truly excels in its sense of space and design! It features a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with separate wet and dry zones, an executive living room, two independent toilets, a shower, and a panoramic bathtub! Simply amazing!!!
From the very first day of my stay, I was treated to an unforgettable experience and luxurious indulgence that delighted both body and mind. Every aspect is meticulously perfected, making guests feel uniquely valued and privileged.
Wanda Vista Hotel's quality and style truly exceeded all my expectations!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A definite five-star rating!!!

JJiandanThe hotel's location is fantastic, with an abundance of dining options nearby, which was incredibly convenient. We were also pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a folk performance at the adjacent Intangible Cultural Heritage Music Plaza. The room key card was charmingly unique. Our room itself was well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and boasted a lovely view. Both the front desk staff and the doormen were consistently proactive and welcoming. They even offered a 'Zanha' (hairpin flower) experience.
The only minor drawback was a rather late check-in, though this was likely due to it being a busy summer weekend.
However, the most disappointing aspect was the utterly terrible attitude of one particular staff member working at the lobby bar. When I politely approached her to inquire about seating, she completely ignored me, not even bothering to look up. This unpleasant encounter regrettably cast a shadow over an otherwise delightful stay, ending it on a sour note.

BBenjaminI have stayed at many hotels in China and around the world and surprisingly, the Hilton Riverside Quanzhou was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The hotel is incredibly clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. Darren, a member of the front desk staff, was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast selection was great and there are river views all over the hotel. The room itself was spectacular. I was in a suite with a walk in closet, living room with office space, large bedroom and large bathroom with a soaking tub. Each room in the suite had a river view. I look forward to my next trip to Quanzhou and will surely book the Hilton Quanzhou again.

LLia KudoI stayed at the hotel for work and this is the third time I've stayed with the team. I had some orders to receive and the hotel called me to let me know every time I received the order and it was a little exhausting because I was in important meetings and I don't speak Chinese. The gym and restaurant are good, there are very few employees who speak English, if you need anything I recommend staying with the translator to communicate.

红红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

GGuest UserAfter further experience, it seems that this place is typical for this area at this price range. So I guess I got what I paid for. But still, I was significantly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness.
The lobby seemed clean and new, but after that, the elevator, hallway, and room were disappointing. And although this room was a bit cleaner than a cheaper room at a different hotel nearby, the floor and bathroom were still noticeably dirty. There was a stain on the bedsheet, which I don’t doubt was perfectly sanitary, but still added to the impression of it being dirty. There were some free condoms and lube in a container near the bed, which made the place feel even more shady and unappealing.
Besides those things, it was fine. The breakfast on the top floor (you have to go up a set of stairs to get to it) was ok, though quite simple, Chinese-style breakfast items.
Overall, it was tolerable, and from experiencing a few other hotels later during my stay, I came to see that it’s hard to get anything much better than that for that price range. I paid about $28/night for this place. If you want a clean place to stay, you’ll probably have to pay a decent amount more money, probably more than $40.
