"I absolutely have to give a perfect 5-star rating to the InterContinental Quanzhou Taihe! A special shout-out to Raymond at the front desk; his service was truly impeccable, so warm and thoughtful. When he learned this trip was for an academic milestone, he proactively arranged a high-floor room for us and even gave us an extra breakfast. Whenever we had any issues during our stay, Raymond was always quick to respond and actively helped coordinate a solution. On the second day, he thoughtfully upgraded our room type, granted us executive lounge access, and even sent a complimentary fruit platter. The entire stay was exceptionally comfortable. Additionally, the hotel's breakfast selection is incredibly rich, offering all sorts of local Quanzhou specialties, and the flavors are outstanding. The room offered expansive views with an excellent landscape outside the window. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Quanzhou, and I'll choose InterContinental Taihe again on my next visit! Highly recommended!"

"Had a fantastic stay at Atour Hotel Quanzhou! The location is excellent, very close to the West Street Ancient City area, making it easy to walk to and convenient for exploring and finding food. If you're driving, it's completely hassle-free as the hotel has its own parking lot. The room was clean and fresh with good natural light, and the bedding was super comfortable. The front desk staff were attentive, and the hotel has great amenities. It's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle; after a day of sightseeing, coming back to relax was incredibly comfortable, and the bedding again, provided an excellent night's sleep. Atour Hotel is an outstanding choice for a road trip to Quanzhou's ancient city. The service is thoughtful, the facilities are new, and overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay. The hotel's Bangke Restaurant serves a Michelin-worthy Black Pearl meal that's easy to appreciate. I also participated in the 'Bangbei Kaihui' activity, which was a lot of fun!"

"I brought my family to Quanzhou for a trip and after looking around, I chose the Quanzhou Yuewha Hotel. It's a well-established five-star hotel, so I specifically booked a two-bedroom suite. The entire suite was convenient for looking after the elderly while still offering some privacy. The room was very spacious at 55 square meters, and the bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. The toiletries like shampoo and shower gel were all from Atelier Cologne – top quality! I loved the 'Pomelo Paradiso' scent, it was so pleasant and refreshing. The toothbrush was their own brand, but the brush head was very soft and large; I even took it home after check-out to keep using it. The mattress provided good support; I don't think it was individual pocket springs as you could feel someone turning over, but when you're traveling, you can't be too picky, as long as it's comfortable. The suite also came with breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour light meals – we really couldn't eat it all! Breakfast was delicious, and we left full every day. My favorites were the seafood congee, vermicelli paste, peanut soup, and oyster omelet. The elders also gave it consistent high praise. We even tried the hotel's dinner buffet one day, which was around 160+ per person – excellent value for money! I just hope next time they cut the salmon sashimi a bit thicker and more generously, haha, as thick cuts are all the rage now. The staff here are very responsive; Miss C at the front desk and the uncle who cleans the rooms were both fantastic. There was an endless supply of bottled water in the room, so we didn't need to buy any ourselves. They also provided complimentary fruit and white fungus soup – too much to eat, haha! We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit. The transportation nearby is very convenient for getting anywhere."

"The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The crabs and shrimp were incredibly plump and sweet, much better than what I buy at my local market. Even though the oysters were small, they were very fresh. Drizzled with garlic soy sauce, their taste rivaled that of a seafood buffet. For breakfast, they had traditional Fujian dishes like 'mian xian hu' (vermicelli paste), 'oyster omelet,' and 'shacha noodles.' These were even cleaner and tasted just as good as what you'd find at local snack shops. If you're traveling alone, I feel like their breakfast alone is enough. However, the crabs are very popular, so either go early or allow enough time to wait for the second batch. Service: Both warm and respectful, they'll accommodate reasonable requests. Cleanliness: Above the average for Atour hotels nationwide. Even the window screens were clean. Environment: Their lobby has a small shrine for worship! It's quite elaborate, and my mom even took a picture with it (a prime example of someone who isn't superstitious). Late-night congee: A pleasant surprise was that they also offered 'mian xian hu' for supper. After eating out all day, it was so comforting to head straight to the restaurant for a bowl of clear 'mian xian hu' – it felt great on my stomach."

"Whenever I visit Quanzhou, I usually stay at the Crowne Plaza Riverside, which I believe has the largest rooms in Quanzhou. InterContinental hotels generally offer good quality and highly competent staff. I particularly love the apartment suites – they come with a kitchen, living room, and a long dining table. The room layout is well-organized, and the Jinjiang River flows right outside the window. The hotel is conveniently located 15 minutes from Quanzhou Station, less than 10 minutes from Licheng Wanda, and 10 minutes from Huansu Karting (one of Quanzhou's two major outdoor karting tracks). The hotel also offers daily intangible cultural heritage activities for children, such as puppet shows and sugar painting. This time, we also received complimentary set meals for two daily at the Cai Feng Lou on the second floor. The ginger duck was quite authentic, and the vinegar-marinated pork was delicious. The 32nd-floor lounge has a lovely ambiance, equipped with binoculars and a reading corner, perfect for a relaxing afternoon enjoying the scenery. Service is a highlight of InterContinental. You can see mid-level managers actively involved, and their English is excellent. I want to especially thank our front desk attendant, Xiao Yu, for his service this time. He's a cheerful, handsome, and outgoing young man, as warm as a younger brother next door, always thoughtful and considerate of guests. My parents were also very satisfied with their dining experience at the hotel. I also ran into Xiao Cai from the concierge team. He helped us with a taxi during our stay last Chinese New Year. It's been several months, but he still recognized us. The manager and staff at Cai Feng Lou were also humble and attentive, even helping us book a private room for our next meal. I often travel to different cities and experience various hotels. But when it comes to loyalty, I always choose InterContinental hotels. Their design style is grand yet simple, and their service is warm and friendly, making them well worth repeat visits."

The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the complimentary coffee and drinks available in the ground-floor area were a thoughtful touch. The reception staff were also friendly and helpful. However, the room could be improved in two areas. First, there were insufficient hooks or wardrobe space for guests to hang their clothes. Second, the bathroom would be more practical with separate shower and toilet areas. With the current layout, only one person can use the entire bathroom at a time. This was inconvenient for four guests, as no one could use the toilet while another person was showering. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but these practical improvements would make the room much more convenient, especially for families or groups."
