Quanzhou Hotels with Bars

This was my second time visiting Quanzhou, and choosing Lushu (录莳) was a decision all three of us absolutely loved. Even though it's technically a guesthouse, it definitely has more of a hotel vibe. The facilities and cleanliness are far superior to many other smaller guesthouses, offering a much more standardized experience. The hotel's design is quite artistic, and there's a rooftop where you can see the Kaiyuan Temple Pagoda. The best part, however, is its excellent location. It's just a one-minute walk to the entrance of West Street. While not directly *on* West Street, this is actually a huge plus because you can park right outside, and they even have their own parking garage. Last time I stayed *in* West Street, it looked convenient but you can't drive in. Staying here meant we avoided dragging our luggage through the heat, which was fantastic! Plus, it’s tucked away, so it’s surprisingly quiet despite being so central. The staff, both the young men and women, were wonderful. Sometimes we'd order takeout very early, and they'd go out of their way to open the gate for the delivery rider and bring it to our room. They were incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Upon check-in, they provided a hand-drawn map, which was a lovely, thoughtful touch! I have to say, there are so many great places to eat and drink nearby, all within walking distance! This time, I fell in love with the unique specialty drinks at various coffee shops in Quanzhou. Perhaps because they are independent small businesses, each has its own distinct flavor, unlike the chain brands that dominate in a city like Shanghai, which often lack character. 'Haituo' (海獭), 'Mianyang' (绵羊), and 'VEE VEE' nearby are all excellent. This trip, I also tried 'Xiao Niang Re' (小娘惹) photography. I'd done 'Zanhua' (簪花) before, but 'Xiao Niang Re' was even prettier, haha! After the shoot, you can find a place for makeup removal and a scalp treatment. The 'Chafu' (茶麸) shop in Jiadi Lane (甲第巷) is really good! It saves you the trouble of doing it yourself, which can be exhausting. At Kaiyuan Temple, I spent 30 yuan to unlock a 'Black Wukong' (黑悟空) look – it felt quite surreal and was a fun new experience, haha. When you come to Quanzhou, you absolutely have to visit the seaside. Moon Bay Floating Stone Camp (月亮湾浮石营地) instantly transports you to Jeju Island. You can go to Luojia Temple (洛迦寺) first, which is about an hour from the hotel, then head to Moon Bay, also about an hour away. While you're at it, you can also fit in Chongwu Ancient City (崇武古城) and Huian Folk Culture Park (惠安风情园)! If you're tired when you get back, a massage is highly recommended. You can enjoy a foot soak while getting a shoulder and neck massage, along with some healthy tea. Each person gets their own private space, almost like a study room. Every visit to Quanzhou brings new surprises! I'll definitely be staying at Lushu again next time! 👍

An incredibly satisfying stay! From the day before check-in, Belle enthusiastically and meticulously shared various tips for our stay, along with recommendations for Quanzhou cuisine and city walk routes. On the day of arrival, she kept us informed about the local weather and followed up throughout our stay to ensure everything was perfect. This truly showcased the hotel's high-quality service. The hotel's location is absolutely prime, right in the center. The Bell Tower is right before your eyes, and West Street, Kaiyuan Temple, Zhongshan Road, and all directions are easily accessible – getting anywhere is super convenient. Guests can also book an exclusive golf cart for a tour of the ancient city, travel photography, fun tea-making experiences, and evening cocktails. It really allowed us to experience the charm of Quanzhou and step into the olden days of Southern Fujian.

This hostel was our first choice because of the positive reviews particularly about the hosts' friendly and helpful attitude and services. They answered all our questions about tourist attraction spots which are not always readily accessible online by foreigners. Very thoughtful of them to provide a hand-drawn map. The location is a plus point for those who want to stay within walking distance to Kai Yuan Shi. It sits in Xijie at the intersection between the more commercialised, touristy shops and day/night markets and shops that the locals frequented. Need to climb some stairs, the highest floor of the room is at the 4th. The luggage will be taken care of though. Worth it as this is the signature red- bricked building of the local Minnan culture.

Quanzhou is really a very suitable city for roaming. You can choose a homestay in the core area of ​​the ancient city, and you can go to popular attractions by walking into any alley. Whether it is the bustling West Street, the quiet Chengtian Temple, the Guandi Temple with constant incense, or the brightly lit Zhongshan Road, you can feel constant surprises in these little things. It is a city that you will want to come back to visit again. This homestay in Huaxiang has the charm of a winding path. Turning into Bajianxiang, it feels like you have really integrated into the daily life of Quanzhou. The quiet and comfortable space and the thoughtful and meticulous service make this trip to Quanzhou more beautiful. It's bustling as soon as you go out. I spend my time leisurely experiencing this city. It's unforgettable and I look forward to seeing you again.

Our overall stay was fantastic! The location was easy to find, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Xiao Zheng at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful, making the check-in process quick and smooth. The hotel facilities were complete, and the soundproofing was excellent. It offered incredible value for money, making it very convenient for exploring. We'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Xijie Hangshe in the ancient city of Quanzhou, and my experience was full of pleasant surprises from the moment I checked in. Everything about it was excellent. The environment, nestled in West Street, is fantastic – step out and you're surrounded by the vibrant atmosphere and ancient charm of the city. Back inside, the room layout and design are very comforting, blending local character with modern comfort seamlessly. Prime location: Right on West Street, perfect for immersing yourself in the ancient city's lifestyle, whether you're shopping or eating. 🌟 Excellent service: From check-in to check-out, I noticed many thoughtful details that made the experience truly outstanding. If you're coming to Quanzhou and want to deeply experience the ancient city's vibe, you can't go wrong with this place.

The service is definitely commendable. The staff member, Nan, was very friendly and efficient with the check-in process, and the room was spotlessly clean. The only downside is that the hotel's main sign is a bit small, and the parking directions are unclear. I had to drive around once to find it, which was quite disappointing for a first-time guest. I hope the hotel can add clearer and more prominent directional signs in both the underground parking lot and on the ground level. This improvement would greatly benefit guests arriving by car and enhance the overall experience by making the hotel's presence more apparent throughout the entire area.

Amazing hotel, over looking the shijing river. looking towards the Temple on the hill side. The location is ideal for me to visit business in Shijing. The food service, assistance of the staff on reception & the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. I am also very satisfied with the friendliness of the staff. Overall, it is a great hotel for the price. The room is very spacious and clean inside. A typical red brick old house in southern Fujian, the location is extremely advantageous, across the road is Kaiyuan Temple, 100 meters walk is West Street, the transportation is well developed, taxis and small white cars are very convenient, eating and playing are very convenient, and in the city center, not far from other attractions. The B&B is very charming, quiet in the bustling, with a scene at every step in the courtyard, a stage, and two 100-year-old carambola trees.
