AAL1988This hostel is exactly what a solo traveler needs. It’s near a metro station with a good price and lots of equipment.
The hostel is big enough and everyone has his own locker and slippers. The hostel staff are very friendly and helpful.
The beds are comfortable and there is an AC in every room. I totally suggest this hostel to anyone coming to Jinan staying short or long.
The location is right behind the Daming Hu (Daming Lake) and there are various shops around it.
I stayed in this hostel for more than a week and I was absolutely amazed and satisfied.

If you don’t like to walk it can be quite long to get into the city centre but there are many solutions around like the bus and the bike so I think the location is good. Plenty restaurant around ! The room is very clean, the bed are very confortable I slept very well in it. The staff is really nice and ready to help you anytime ! I would definitely recommend it ^^

SSeraphineNoelleFor this price, it's really amazing what you get! It's clean, you don't hear any street noise, and there is even a washing machine (but no detergent).
Service is really good as well. Even though the receptionist doesn't speak English, he directly used translation tools to communicate everything to me and came down to the street to get me, as the hostel entrance was a bit hard to find (as usual in China).
They don't have a physical reception and common area though. In the building it smells like cigarettes, fortunately inside the room you can't smell it.
When I wanted to leave my luggage after checkout, I was first told it is impossible, which is quite inconvenient! So I had to insist and was told to leave it in an office in the same building a few floors down, but only until 5 pm. So if you have a late train, there's no way to leave your belongings and keep exploring.

RRara MomijiI stayed at Yuexi Hotel for 2 nights, and overall, it was a comfortable, basic, and affordable stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and the staff were very responsive and helpful, which I really appreciated.
The hotel is located right next to Mixc Mall (at the back) and a 7-11, making it easy to grab essentials or find dining options nearby. I arrived via Didi, and the hotel was easy to locate.
I booked the Ikea Room, which was clean and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, though the room lacked a TV and instead had a projector — I didn’t use it, but it’s a nice touch for those who want to stream content. The floor I was on looked a bit dated, and I could hear people passing by in the lobby area, so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper.
While the hotel felt safe, the Wi-Fi wasn’t reliable enough to work on my laptop, so I was glad to have my own connection.
