The door was messed up, but was the bed made? =_= The towels on the bathroom floor weren't even picked up the day before. 😓 Okay, they emptied the trash can for me, which solved the immediate problem. Everything else was manageable and wouldn't affect my continued stay. Breakfast was available, but the main course was a bit shabby. One small steamed bun was enough for 5-6 small groups of people. Dining was for the family of 5 next door and the 3 of us. We had to go back and forth 3 times to get the main course, because we might not get it all at once. We would sit down to eat, and when it came, no one would get a single portion, so we would wait for the new ones to arrive before going back for more. 😥

However, a major downside is the pervasive smoke smell in the rooms, hallways, and even the elevator. The pick-up car also reeked of smoke. I had to switch rooms twice, and both had a strong smoke odor. On top of that, the drains in both rooms were clogged, leading to a flooded bathroom after just a 5-minute shower. I hope the hotel addresses the drainage issues soon.
