Good
KKuailedapengcheMotel, don't expect too much, the room is big, the bathroom is clean, that's enough! The service staff is very good, there is self-service coffee at the front desk, you can walk directly to the fireworks, turn left on the two streets and walk to the waterfall, the location is very good!
GGuest UserI booked this hotel with trips.com, when I tried to check in they said thereâs no reservation for me even though I showed them the confirmation number, they said trips.com didnât send the confirmation to them, and I need to contact them myself. I asked them to borrow the phone so I can call because my phone is prepaid, and they said their phone doesnât work to call outside, believe it or not, and they couldnât help at all, so I contacted trips.com through live chat, the rep was so helpful, she contacted the hotel directly and was able to sort out the issue, then the guy from the hotel said he gone above and beyond to help me and heâs not supposed to. I found thatâs funny because he didnât help me at all from the beginning until trips contacted them. So I told him I was not satisfied with how he handled the problem initially, then he apologized, but not sincere you can tell by his tone of voice.
In terms of the hotel, it only has 2 floors, the 1st floor is kind of in the basement, the carpet is very old, but the room is clean. The heater wasnât turned on, the room was cold when we arrived. The heating system and the washroom fan were very loud, so we have to turn off the heat in order for us to be able to sleep.
GGuest UserWhat they say about first impressions rings true here. Our room was on the second floor in a corner, and to get there, we had to walk through clouds of cigarette smoke from the many people smoking outside their rooms. And right by our door, there was a bucket of still smoldering cigarette butts.
The room was okay, but not the cleanest. There were a lot of assorted hairs on the bathroom floor, and the ceiling fan had not been cleaned for years. The only window in the room had also not been cleaned in a very long time. And it was seriously lacking in amenities. There was no coffee maker, but we did manage to borrow a kettle from the front desk. The television had no channels and only had streaming services. Luckily, some previous customer left themselves logged in to Apple TV. Wayne, if you are reading this, thanks! And the breakfast were very basic - frozen waffles or toast.
Next time we are in Niagara Falls area, we will definitely be looking elsewhere.
GGuest UserThe guy named Terry from the reception was nice, helpful and accommodating. We like the free breakfast. Wifi is strong and AC. The room and washroom were all clean. No bad smell even the bed. The kind housekeeping always clean the room , towels and beddings. I will definitely come back. They didn't charge me for the parking.I had good night sleeps and they gave me the chance to choose a room. Because I have senior citizens with me, the first floor that they gave me was very accessible to us.
MMissNot the cleanest place and we were awoken by police banging on the door looking for a guy named Dave. I brought this up to the front desk and they didnât seem to want to talk about it but I see rooms are rented out as low income rentals which is fine but unfortunately one bad apple can spoil the bunch. The dude they were looking for was at one point in the room beside up but 530 am being woken up by an olive isnât fun. Towels are really gross and stained luckily I brought my own figuring as such but the beds were great and people were nice . A lot of spiders we had to kill but the budget is cheap and I really can t complain:
GGuest UserThe room was bigger than expected, the beds were OK, pillows a bit lumpy but didnât make sleep impossible. The motel is close to Clifton Hill and all the attractions they offer, easily walkable area. The indoor pool was a nice addition (but would be better if a couple degrees warmer for us older folks!) Fridge/microwave would be nice but not the end of the world. Ice readily available at the check in desk. Overall good value for what we paid, would stay there again
GGuest UserOverall, this was a nice little place to stay. You can tell it's an older facility, but seems to be fairly well maintained. Pretty clean overall, though the floors were a bit sticky. The setup of our rooms was nice as well. I'd probably stay again if I were ever in the area.
GGuest UserThe location is close to tourist attractions and safe as it is in a downtown area.
There is no breakfast so you have to buy it nearby.
I had to ask for a towel the next day, and they said they would get it right away, but they didn't give it to me, so I asked again in the evening and finally got it.
The room is spacious
