GGuest UserEverything from the service, ambiance, to the quality of items truly deserves a five-star rating 👍. I forgot to take actual photos of the room, but it looks exactly like the official promotional pictures, and actually felt even more spacious. It seems some rooms have a coffee capsule machine and some don't; ours didn't, and we also didn't get any welcome fruit. Perhaps they were too busy preparing during the holiday season. We ordered takeout, and it was delivered by a robot. The second time, it was too slow, so I called to ask about its whereabouts. The third time, a staff member personally delivered it, which made me feel a bit embarrassed. But it really shows that all the hotel staff are great. The hotel breakfast is above average; the variety was less than I expected, but the quality was good, and they had most of what we wanted to eat. 🥰🥰 A very pleasant stay.

YYoaichirourourourouThis time we stayed in a two-bedroom, one-living room suite with a private pool. The pool filled up quickly and was clean and hygienic. The room's cleanliness was also quite good. The staff were very attentive and always greeted us with a smile. The restaurant food was delicious and offered great value for money. The outdoor pool was heated; although not large, it was very comfortable. The beach sand was fine, soft, white, and spotless. The yacht experience was excellent, not crowded at all, and very fulfilling! The hotel itself is large with a very cohesive color scheme. We even got to make shell wind chimes this time. All in all, everything was wonderful, and I look forward to coming back again.

The ambiance is very upscale and photo-worthy, making for a truly immersive experience~ 🩵 My stay at the St. Regis this time was excellent. Our dedicated butler, William, was professional and attentive, providing detailed and thoughtful service with prompt responses. He meticulously attended to all our needs throughout our stay, striking the perfect balance and exemplifying the high-end service the St. Regis is known for. Our trip felt incredibly comfortable and luxurious, highly recommended~ The quality of the St. Regis truly lives up to its reputation. I hope to have Butler William again on my next visit 🩵👍

GGuest UserPros - Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre. - Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far). - Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes. - Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too. - Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do. After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services. - Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly. - Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi. Cons The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms: 1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms. 2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking. 3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time. It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard. I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself. Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

I didn't even leave the hotel once, completely immersed in the pink bubbly atmosphere. 🥰🥰 The elegant and grand rooms and lounge had an unbeatable, noble, and refined ambiance. My only slight disappointment was that the lounge quality seemed to have dipped a bit; they no longer had the chocolate buffet or latte art. However, I must commend the lounge staff for their proactive response when I raised the issue 👍. The freshly made ramen and rice rolls at breakfast were absolutely amazing!

From the moment I walked in, the reception girls were absolutely perfect. Warm, professional, and so attentive without being overbearing. They remembered little details, made check-in seamless, and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay special. Honestly, they set the tone for the whole trip. The room? Incredible. Spacious, elegant, super comfortable bed, and every little amenity you could think of. But the real showstopper was the view – floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Shenzhen skyline. I must have just stood there for ten minutes taking it all in. Breakfast was delicious too – great mix of Western and local options, everything fresh, and the service at breakfast was just as polished as the front desk. If you’re looking for a hotel that nails the luxury basics and goes the extra mile with genuine, thoughtful service, this is it. I’ll definitely be back.

She proactively reached out regarding our check-in, providing clear instructions and guiding us through the process upon arrival. Any last-minute requests were handled promptly and efficiently. She was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and her service was meticulous. With Cassie taking care of everything, we didn't have to worry about a thing during our vacation. AAnonymous UserI'm a returning guest, and I always stay here when I'm in Shenzhen. This time, I booked a corner room with a large window, offering a much better view, which I could even enjoy from the bathtub. The executive lounge, as always, provided excellent service. Overall, it's still a fantastic hotel – the environment, breakfast, cleanliness, and service are among the best in Shenzhen. However, there's one minor issue I'd like to suggest for improvement. I had requested a room with a good view in my reservation notes, hoping to leave a great review. But upon check-in, the front desk didn't mention anything and simply assigned me a room on the lowest floor. I was very disappointed with the view, as it was completely blocked by a building in front. This was by far the worst view I've ever had at a Renaissance. After thinking it over, I couldn't stand it and requested a room change. Thankfully, the room change process went smoothly. I waited for over an hour, but eventually, I was moved to a high-floor room with a much better view. The front desk, understanding the situation, even offered for me to wait in the executive lounge while the high-floor room was being prepared. The subsequent handling was satisfactory, which is why I'm still giving a full five-star rating. I just hope this doesn't happen again next time. The picture shows the view from the high-floor room.

2203993****The location is good, right next to Lianhua Mountain. Downstairs there's a restaurant, and across the street, there's a small supermarket and other dining options. Cross the pedestrian bridge and you're in Meilin, so it's very convenient for food. Subway: It's about 600-700 meters from Lianhua North Station (Line 4), a 5-6 minute walk. Hotel Environment: It's a bit older, so the facilities are a little dated. Service: The service was very good, and they responded quickly. When I checked into my room, I found the door lock was broken, and the hotel immediately upgraded my room. That was excellent!👍🏻 Overall, the value for money is pretty good, considering the price and the advantageous location.
