"I absolutely loved the hotel for its stylish design and comfortable room. The bathtub was a highlight — perfect for a relaxing soak. The hotel is conveniently located next to a mall with plenty of dining options and a supermarket. While it is a bit out of the city center, the subway station is just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to get around. There's also a nearby 小区 about 5 minutes away with a great variety of local food choices."

"My wife and I stayed here with family and had a really great experience. The front desk team was impressive — they were attentive and genuinely cared about how our stay was going. It didn’t feel like just routine service; they really made an effort to check in and see if everything was okay. Breakfast was also excellent. Lots of variety, and tasted very good. It definitely stood out compared to many other hotels. All the staff we came across were friendly and professional, which made a big difference. A special shoutout to the General Manager, Mr. Karen Jain — he was warm, down-to-earth, and clearly leads by example. You could tell the team respected him and followed his approach to guest service. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Shenzhen."

"We live in NYC and my two daughters would visit this hotel once a year since they love their man made beach and the waterpark. I always booked the club room since the general service is not so good, this time they tried to offer me a room which is cheaper than the room I originally paid, I went back to the Conceriege and Toby there sorted it out immediately and brought a bell boy to move our bags to the right room. I do think it’s necessary to book the room with the club service since the general service is not so good and you do need that extra help. Via and Nico have always been helpful there and the girls had a good time. The breakfast buffet was a good selection or it’s always easy to get a taxi to dine outside. The rooms aged a bit and the hygiene level of the room needs to be improve, I could feel bed bugs during the night…and the stinky smell from the toilet…."

"Choosing a hotel in China can often be a hit-or-miss experience—but the Palace Hotel in Luohu, Shenzhen is truly a hidden gem. Located just 400 meters from the Shenzhen Railway Station, it’s a short and convenient walk—mostly through well-lit underground shopping alleys, with part of the route even passing a lively food street. The location is unbeatable. Right outside the hotel, Line 1 Metro is to your right, and Line 9 is to your left—both within 200 meters from the lobby. The hotel is also just 500 meters from Luohu Commercial City, one of Shenzhen’s largest malls, with hundreds of shops offering everything from electronics and knockoffs to dried food, fashion, massage parlours, and eateries. But a convenient location is only part of what makes a great stay—comfort matters, and this hotel delivers. Newly built in 2023, it’s modern, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with everything a tourist might need. The rooms are big and spacious. Free self-service laundry and dryers mean you can pack light. There’s also a gym, and within 500 meters, you’ll find an abundance of food options. Service is another standout. The staff are attentive and responsive. Towels are replaced promptly when needed, and even small gestures—like an extra bottle of mineral water—don’t go unnoticed. Security is excellent, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. I must give special mention to Miss Long (龙小姐) at the reception. Her attention to detail and dedication to service were truly impressive. What really stood out was when she personally carried three new 24” suitcases (which I had ordered from Xiaomi and delivered to the front desk) all the way to my room—an act that perfectly embodies “going the extra mile.” As a retired senior manager, I strongly urge the hotel’s leadership to recognize her potential. If you’re heading to Shenzhen and want a hotel with superb service and an unbeatable location, I highly recommend the Palace Hotel. It’s located just to the left of the Shangri-La Hotel—but with better value and warmth. We booked four rooms for our stay from April 23 to April 26. I stayed in Room 5419."
