"This stay is really satisfactory, the Host is super friendly and welcoming! 😊 Knowing that I have two large luggage and Sorrento taxis are expensive, I even drove me to pick me up. Zhong helped me carry my luggage to the room. I was really touched!
The accommodation is new and clean and there are elevators because many European residences have to carry their luggage by themselves. It is really hard to stay in 🥲 Breakfast is included in the restaurant downstairs. Host is very careful, Chengri asked me if I have any needs, Zhong took the initiative to share the route to the pier and other transportation options, help me not less time and money! The most pleasant surprise is that Zhong Zhong invited me to drink my own Limoncello, so thoughtful! 🍋
The only thing to talk about is that the location of the system is about 15 minutes away from the city center. If you don't mind taking a step, you will completely ask the problem. ~ The overall problem is that the price is high, and the Host service is definitely recommended! 👍"
"Very satisfied, more than expected hotel ~ It is also very convenient to go to the pier. If you go to the bus stop, you can walk for about ten minutes. The big iron gate at the entrance of the hotel is very special, the corners of the hotel are beautiful, the breakfast is good, and there is coffee to drink ~"
"The location of the homestay is near the attractions, but because it is a residential house upstairs, you have to find it. You must contact the owner before you check in to determine the check-in time and arrangement. You must find a parking space for self-driving tours. The breakfast is good. You can talk to the owner one night in advance. What to eat, it feels good"

"It was quite a surprise staying at B&B Sorrento Central. Totally exceeded our expectations in terms of room amenities. As for the breakfast, do not expect a grand spread. However, they do have waffles, pancakes, bread, croissants, cornflakes, mueslis and yogurts. They have a water dispenser for filling up for water and a coffee machine that is available for morning breakfast. Walking to town takes about 8-10minutes, the port however takes around 25-30mins.
Do note that there is a bowling alley right beside the B&B and there is a chance of hearing balls rolling down the lanes till 11pm 😆"

Amazing
임임횬If I go to Sorrento again, I want to stay there again. It was the best accommodation during my trip to Italy. It was much nicer than in the pictures, and I was able to enjoy the atmosphere of Sorrento with the meticulous and stylish interior design everywhere!
There was no coffee pot, but I asked the reception and they brought it to my room right away.
I had to catch the train early on the last day, so I tried to ask for a simple take-out breakfast,
but they packed it in a paper bag and told me to pack as much as I wanted.
It was raining lightly,, but they also told me to take an umbrella.
I told them I would pay, but they said it was a gift.,,
I had a very happy 2 nights in Sorrento!
The owner is the best,,
LLKHKerMy family and I had a precious and memorable experience at Casa Astarita guesthouse in October. Although we walked for a while from the bus station to the house, we soon realized that we were already passing through the most central and lively area of Sorrento. Everything we wanted—restaurants, gift shops, gelato and drink bars, supermarkets, and more—was just a few steps from the guesthouse.
The reception and hospitality at Casa Astarita were even more surprising and heartwarming, making us feel truly at home. We were deeply touched and grateful to be guests here.
We especially enjoyed the morning breakfast time with other guests in the common dining area. The maids were kind and thoughtful, customizing our meals to our preferences.
The room was spacious, and the furniture solid and traditionally functional—not designed for those expecting luxury decor, but perfectly comfortable. The balcony overlooked the main street below, where we could hear buskers and Italian music playing from the nearby restaurants, giving us an immersive sense of the city.
On our checkout day, as we wanted to stay in the city until late, we were gladly offered luggage storage without hesitation. We sincerely thank the host for their considerate and customer-oriented service.
SShruti7316I had a fantastic stay at Grand Hotel Aminta! The rooms were spotless, the staff was incredibly Professional, friendly, and the amenities were top-notch. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. We got very beautiful Mountain view from our Room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting!!”
GGuest UserGreat bathroom, comfy bed, spacious room with a lovely city view. The staff was so nice and helpful, she introduced the local food, attractions and transportation to us patiently.
Clean and perfect!
DDonna MarinaLocation is great, right next to piazza tasso, and there’s taxi stop in the front. The room is equipped with modern design, keeping classic furniture which is very cute and authentic. Breakfast is great with freshly made coffee and the variety is very good for european standard. The terrace is the absolute highlight! The view from the position is Wow! The staff are all very friendly and really take the time to give advice to those who are new to Sorrento, they have us really heartfelt and clear advice as in sightseeing tips or restaurant recommendations. They also organise excursions which is so convenient, the day tour to Amalfi coast by car is just awesome!!! Last but not least, there is a lift inside!
AAngelaHotel itself is pretty standard as what you would expect from any big chain hotels, but service was definitely not up to par. We were told there would be valet service - there was none. The bus boys just told us to park ourselves. FINE. Then after I've checked in I asked if the luggage will be sent up to our room - reception then asked if I got a luggage ticket to which I told him we weren't given anything. The bus boys just stood around the entrance. He said they would be sent up shortly but given how they were just standing around we just took our luggage ourselves - mind you I am 6 months pregnant and obviously so but they did not offer any help. Once we got to our room the air conditioning was not working - we kept dialing it down but there was no air. Amazing to find out the AC wasn't working for the price we paid. The room is stuffy and even the hallway was cooler. Also during our stay there was conference - we were given a room on the same floor as conference participants and as expected they were loud and rowdy at night. We could hear them talking in the hallway at night when we called reception they said there was nothing they can do. So very helpful. Upon check out, the same bus boy stood around while watching a pregnant lady wheel 4 pieces of luggage out. I really just wonder what they do other than standing around all day hanging in the shade. Service is terrible here and I've had better service at small boutique or family run hotels than here. The only upside to this stay was that the rooms are spacious and clean and that's about it.
OoliviachenzwWe stayed 3 nights at Santa Fortunata Village in Dodome Tent No. 9 and had a pleasant experience overall. The village is located a bit outside of Sorrento town, but since we were driving, the distance wasn’t an issue. For those not driving, they do offer a buggy service, which is convenient.
Our tent didn’t have the best view, but we were still able to catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay, with no disturbances from other campers. The bed was comfortable, and the tent included a plug point and two USB ports. However, there were no built-in lights, so we recommend bringing your own portable USB light.
There were ants on the ground, but it wasn’t a major problem. The parking lot was spacious, and the shared bathrooms and toilets were a short walk away. Showers had hot water, and there were plenty of basins and mirrors available. The provided hair dryer was quite weak, so it’s better to bring your own if needed.
The village also has mini marts and a restaurant. We had dinner at the restaurant once—it was a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was elegant and enjoyable. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They offer excursions as well, though we had already planned our own itinerary.
All in all, it was a comfortable and quiet glamping experience. We'd definitely consider coming back!
KKen LotsoThe hotel is located near Sorrento train station, about 5 minutes' walk away, which is convenient and fast. The hotel staff are also willing to help.
However, the hotel's hygienic condition is average. In just one day, 4 flies were seen in the room. The decoration of the room is also relatively old. The breakfast has basic Western options, all of which taste good.
Generally speaking, if you are only staying for a short time, you can also choose this hotel.
GGuest UserI would think with the pictures showing a pool and daybeds these would be free but when we got there they told us they are 15euro each day to use even though we are hotel guests. The reason we chose a hotel with a pool rather than paying for 1 at the beach. Very disappointed.
The showers are very small we aren’t big people and found it hard showering.
Balcony was good as could rinse clothes and dry outside but just placed over the chairs.
No kettle in the room but can get free coffee with breakfast. Breakfast was included which was great.
Scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, danishes, juice and coffee.
Location was great coming off the ferry as right at the port with luggage.
If going to town it’s a big stair case up to the top or you can walk along the beach to the lift down the road which is 2 euro to use.
The bar upstairs has amazing sunsets, lovely watching the sun go down and they have a DJ playing lovely slow singing music which all generations could enjoy. The drinks are slightly priced at the bar though.
The restaurant at bottom of hotel was great. 7 euro Margherita pizza and you get 10% off being a hotel guest.
I would probably next time stay in town as closer to everything but I like walking and hiking for exercise so the big staircase worked for me but wouldn’t for lots of people. I think the hotel may of said they have free taxi to town but not 100 % sure.
Iilzestayed here with a friend and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, but it's just a short walk from the main street, which made it convenient yet peaceful.
The room had a fantastic view, which we really enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure — something we appreciated after long days of exploring. However, while the shower was advertised as having fancy jet options, none of them worked. This feature really shouldn't be promoted if it's not functional.
The room was marketed as a deluxe bedroom, but in reality, it's a standard double room without any frills. We would’ve preferred if expectations were set more accurately — under-promising and over-delivering always makes for a better guest experience.
Breakfast was basic and nothing to rave about, though we weren’t expecting much there, so no big disappointment.
All in all, it’s a solid option for a short stay. But i won't be recommending for family or friends. Tbere are better option elsewhere. Just need to be booked in advance 😊
