GGuest User我因誤訂了距訪問地二小時車程的旅館，又無法退訂，落地匹茲堡國際機場，衹得租車前往。10底的賓州，秋意漸濃，層林盡染，穿行於山間的公路，兩邊風景美不勝收！夜幕降臨，除了滿天的星光，一切沉浸於絲絨般的黑暗中，忽然路上四頭小鹿緩緩橫穿馬路，趕緊剎車，若不是天暗，真想下車好好看看這些温柔、迷人的精靈！導航顯示目的地左拐即到，可是我們衹看到鐵軌，似再無其他路可左拐。遂下車仔細查看，（同車的姐姐首次來美國，在這黑暗無人的山間，嚇壞了，甚至要立即掉頭離開）在距鐵軌十米處有一約60釐米高的牌子，上面指示着旅館的方向。原來確是左拐，從一森林小道進去約80米，即看到木屋的燈光。女主人貼心地在門上寫了一封歡迎信，告知我房間、鑰匙等訊息。其他客人都休息了，我們輕輕地按要求脱鞋、上樓，主人對木屋的精心設計瞬間把我們迷住了。大卧室裏放着耳塞，（旁邊有火車道，但這隆隆的車輪聲對勞累的旅人幹擾並不大，塞着耳塞很快又入睡了）我們其他三人睡在有八張小床的閣樓裏，像童話裏的七個小矮人的故事裏的小床，年已六旬的先生興奮不已，真是全新的體驗。大家睡得不錯！早歺在樓下，主人精心準備了咖啡、牛奶、酸奶、水果、果汁（在冰箱裏，自取）麪包、小點心等。客廳的佈置、歺廳的陳設，讓我想到了簡愛電影中羅切思特的莊園，彷彿時光倒流，不知今夕何夕？每幅窗户外，樹影婆娑，秀色真是可餐啊！我們匆匆吃完早餐，迫不及待的到門外呼吸新鮮空氣，太美了！彷彿置身於仙境之中！昨晚覓路的忐忑和這童話般的秋天的早晨形成了鮮明的對比！我們和同在此住宿的旅人快樂地交流，幾個長者，汽車上放着自行車，這兒真是騎行的好地方！約二十公裡外就是著名的流水𡋾墅。….最值得一寫的是女主人Robin 的陶藝作品，木屋陳列櫃的陶瓷，皆出自Robin 之手，還有家裡所有藝術擺設。Dan負責日常打理，是個非常熱情、和藹的長者。可惜我們衹住了兩晚，就匆匆離開去匹茲堡。下次一定住長些，周邊的小鎮、河流、森林都值得徒步探索！….現在我已回到中國海南島，無比想念賓州的這家度假旅館，僅住了二天，確成了我此行最難以忘懷的時光！

GGuest UserSharon, the manager was remarkable. She was pleasant, “homey”, warm and professional. Her staff were equally friendly. The property was clean and very quiet despite its proximity to the turnpike and the interchange. My only comments included size. The two beds were not queen size as I imagined - (but the mattresses were comfy and may have been advertised as full beds and I just missed that in the listing.) The outdoor pool was very small but afforded us relief from the hot summer weather. We will return to this property due to its cleanliness, and convenient location to the Laurel Highlands attractions we were there to visit!

GGuest UserRoom was clean, and the hotel staff were super friendly and helpful with my indecision about how many days I wanted to stay. They even gave me a refund for some nights without any hesitation. Superb value for money, would definitely stay there again.
