Beautiful hotel. Staff was very friendly. They forgot we booked two rooms when we arrived but 10 mins later the issue was resolved. Welcome drink and hospitality was nice especially after a full say of traveling. The food was really good the one night we had dinner there. The bed is a bit firm. I didn’t mind but my friend did. Beautiful views from the room. No tv in the rooms tho lol I personally like to fall asleep to a little tv but truly no big deal. The gym however, was the definition of basic. Very minimal equipment but it’s better than nothing.
We were very satisfied. The staff was very friendly. The food was also good and just as expensive as outside. Unfortunately, the soup was brought to me at the same time as the main course, despite having previously asked for it to be served as a starter.
But that was the only negative thing this week.
I would gladly go to this hotel again.
Beautiful environment, quiet in the middle of the city, just in the city, near the pub street, three minutes walk away. The environment in the hotel is not hygienic, the house decoration and furniture are solid wood, especially the river view family room suite where we live, with two balconies, is really great. What's more, the hotel's breakfast is very good, there is a menu for guests to choose and make it, and the taste is much better than eating outside. Recommend two little brothers named Bun heng & Ravy Restaurant, the service and smile are very good. We stayed for three days and then renewed for another five days. We will definitely stay again in the near future.

Exquisite, comfortable and top quality luxury small hotel. The location is a bit far from the city center, but Siem Reap is very small, so it is actually 10-15 minutes to get to the city center by tutuk. I chose this place because I like to be quiet and come to the Angkor Marathon. The surrounding areas are all residential areas, which will look very run-down, but walking into the hotel gate is another world. The bedding was particularly satisfactory, the bed was large, clean and comfortable. Good luck, upgraded the big room by the pool and really enjoyed it. There are not many rooms in the hotel so the waiters take care of every guest. Breakfast is a la carte, it feels much better than buffet breakfast, taste and quality are very good, I feel like eating a big meal in the morning. The waiter's English is very good, and the attitude is enthusiastic and modest. During my stay in the hotel, I had dinner, laundry, swimming pool, and spa services. Impeccable. It is very suitable for rest, and guests who like quiet and more private space, but if you want to go out at night, you have to ask the hotel for help. The leaving manager and your dedicated waiter will take you to the door to say goodbye, very warm. Will have the opportunity to come here again and recommend to friends. But oh, the only minor regret is that we have been treated as Taiwanese or Hong Kong guests. We have corrected it twice. Unfortunately, our lovely waiter has not remembered it, but it will not affect the overall impression of the hotel ~ see you next time.
Online listing of 4-star hotels, the transportation is convenient, the bathroom decoration is really too bad, the washbasin is the level of domestic guest house, showing breakfast, actually no. 2.5 Star bar
The hotel opened for half a year after the epidemic. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and tidy, and the facilities are very good. The hotel is in a quiet area, but not far from the bar street, and you can walk quickly. The staff inside are very polite, welcoming and interesting, the food in the restaurant is delicious, the cocktails in the bar are delicious, and I returned to the hotel after a busy day to swim in the pool and drink. I really enjoyed it and I was very happy. Wall crack recommended, will come back next time.
Good central location, walking distance to pub street. Staff all charming and always willing to help.
Downsides: pool area tired and poorly laid out, mosquitoes, tours and restaurant massivley over priced, if these were priced more sensibly people would use them.
Would definitley return and recommend, a few tweaks would make it perfect.
I contacted the airport pick-up service in advance, but it was announced that I had to wait for an hour. The room towels and bath towels were not clean, almost every piece had black spots, the slippers were smelly, there was no hair dryer, and the disposable toothbrush was in The super mini toothpaste that came with it, the paste didn't even squeeze out a centimeter, but she could only barely brush it once, and she didn't give the toothbrush set after cleaning the next day, waiting for her to ask for it. The coffee stains on the coffee cup, the broken shower in the shower room, and the floor drain are not working well. I went to the front desk and went back at night to be the same. Hey, maybe there are no tourists, no business, and no employees. Yeah, not so good, won't be going again
The hotel is in a very good location, close to the bar street but not noisy. Outside the hotel, there are restaurants, shops, etc. It is very convenient. The hotel service is also very good, and the central air conditioning is very powerful.
Came with my husband from the Mingyue Hotel for only one night. The check-in time should be two in the afternoon, but the front desk lady was very nice and let us check in immediately. I was also given the choice of two rooms up and down, and finally chose the room upstairs. Although the school next door was a bit noisy, the room was large and the view was beautiful. The lemongrass incense in the room smelled good and there were no mosquitoes. Breakfast was very delicious the next day, check out and car to the airport, it is a car, not a tutu car!

Excellent
GGuest UserSala Lodges in the enchanting city of Siem Reap is nothing short of a hidden gem that boasts not only of charming aesthetics but also of exceptional service that made our stay unforgettable. Nestled quietly away, this hotel provided a tranquil retreat that was much needed during our travel.
The service at Sala Lodges was commendable, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. The staff were attentive, approachable, and consistently willing to assist us in organizing our trips around Siem Reap, making the overall experience hassle-free and enjoyable. A special shoutout to the Swiss owners who were genuinely amiable and made us feel warmly welcomed.
As for the accommodations, the rooms in Sala Lodges were a delightful surprise. Each room bore discrete charm with its tasteful decoration, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements. The authentic Khmer old houses are full of charm, yet modern and well preserved.
The hotel’s kitchen offered a menu that might seem simple at a glance but was satisfyingly delightful upon tasting. Every dish we tried was prepared well, with fresh ingredients and flavors that are comforting yet exciting to the palate. The breakfast, in particular, deserves an extra note of praise for being consistently good, providing a delightful start to our days of exploration.
Adding to the hotel’s allure was the inviting swimming pool, serving as a refreshing sanctuary after a day of touring the magical temples and vibrant markets of Siem Reap. During the wet season, the atmosphere around Sala Lodges was even more calming and soothing, with the soft sound of rain providing a comforting backdrop to our stay.
To sum it up, our experience at Sala Lodges was nothing short of magical. From the excellent service to the beautifully appointed rooms and delightful meals, every aspect of the hotel contributed to a stay that was serene, comfortable, and absolutely enjoyable. Whether you’re traveling in the wet season or not, Sala Lodges offers a cosy retreat that will surely enhance your Siem Reap adventure. Highly recommended!
KKhendyIt was my first time staying at The Royal Family Suite by Memoire Palace Resort and Spa and I loved it! I stayed at the Grand Pool Suite, it was luxurious and spacious. 10/10 would recommend. Love the view, room, pool & buffet! Definitely staying there again in the future.
AAnonymous UserI like the customer care of the hotel staff. Most of them are friendly and helpful to the customer needs. I like the positive vibes and accomodation provided. Never had a dull moments during my entire stay.
JJoelbastedoAnjali was perfect. Quiet, restful, and beautiful. The pool is always shaded by dense foliage so it seemed like we were in the middle of the jungle. The restaurant was amazing, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange all our tours and activities. We were especially lucky to have Mr. Chhlen drive us around all week in the tuktuk and the van: not only was he kind and knowledgeable, making helpful suggestions for attractions and restaurants we wouldn’t have known about otherwise, but also he was very attentive to our kids and helped keep them safe and entertained when we were out temples and souvenir shops. We highly recommend Anjali and would stay again.
GGuest UserNestled a mere stone's throw away from the iconic landmark Angkor Wat, this exquisite 5-star boutique hotel epitomizes luxury at an unbeatable price. As an American accustomed to the finer things in life, I was thoroughly impressed by the seamless blend of traditional Cambodian hospitality and high-end amenities that this hidden gem offers.
From the moment you step into the hotel, the warmth and professionalism of the staff are immediately palpable. The English-speaking team goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of spectacular. Whether it's their 24/7 room service that caters to your every whim or the personalized tour arrangements, the service here is designed to make every guest feel like royalty. The attention to detail is remarkable, and it’s clear that guest comfort and satisfaction are top priorities.
Cleanliness and safety are paramount in any luxury accommodation, and this hotel excels in both. Each room and suite radiates comfort and style, with immaculate interiors that promise a serene retreat after a day of temple touring. The hotel boasts an environment that is not only secure but also private, allowing you to unwind in peace, away from the bustle yet still conveniently located.
For those who relish organic, locally-sourced cuisine, the hotel's dining options will delight your palate. The menu features a fusion of traditional Khmer dishes and Western favorites, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. It’s a culinary journey that respects local culture while also catering to those who might crave a taste of home. The dining experience here is designed to be a highlight of your stay, ensuring that each meal is memorable.
Overall, my experience at Khmer Mansion Residence, this beautiful boutique hotel near Angkor Wat was genuinely remarkable. Offering a luxurious escape at prices that are surprisingly affordable, it stands out as a beacon of 5-star hospitality in Siam Reap. The hotel provides a perfect balance of privacy, local culture, and modern amenities, making it a must-stay for discerning travelers from the West seeking an authentic yet pampered experience. Whether you are here for the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat or the vibrant local culture, this hotel ensures your stay in Cambodia is truly extraordinary.
소소 TEverything about this place is top-notch and wonderful! The staff are very friendly, accomodating, and helpful. The rooms are lovely, the pool area is spectacular and the whole place has a very peaceful and welcoming ambiance. The breakfast buffet included a wide variety of delicious foods and we chose to have our evening meal here every night as well. The dinners were delicious and very reasonably priced! I have traveled quite a bit in my lifetime, and Metta Residence and Spa is at the very top of my list of favourite places to stay. I will be back for sure! Thank you so very much!
GGuest UserWe came here for the first part of our Cambodian holiday. The room is comfortable and the hotel was relatively quiet. I thought their breakfast was amazing and it was included with our stay so please don't miss it. Kimsinh was our main contact there and he was helpful the entire time. He helped organize tickets and dinner reservations. The hotel was undergoing renovations so we did not really enjoy that part of it however, We will look forward to checking out the changes when we come back
GGuest User4-Star Luxury Hotel for the Backpacker Price of $40/night!
The first thing you notice about Sokha Palace Siem Reap Hotel is just how pretty it is! The architect, painters, decorators and maintenance staff did a fabulous job (see my photos). The second thing you notice is how delicious the huge buffet is – including free espresso drinks. Third, you notice that the rooms are not only nice but that everything works well (aircon, hot water showers, refrigerator, wifi, and cable TV with news channels from a half dozen countries like CNN). Fourth, it is in a quiet location less than 15 minutes from Angkor Wat, and only a $2 tuktuk ride to Pub Street or anywhere else in Siem Reap.
But then you notice the best part: the outstanding hotel staff. For example, the Front Desk Manager Phyrun personally helped me when I could not make my room keycard work, and even brought me a bucket of ice. Originally I booked five nights during Chinese New Year with Trip.com discounts for $39/night, but he gave me a free upgrade from a garden view double with king bed to a pool view room. I liked it so much I wanted to extend, but the best I could find online was $41/night garden view, $51 for pool view. I asked Phyrun if I could get the upgrade again if I bought the $41 online, and he said no – but he smiled and said he would give it to me for $40/night the Khmer rate instead (normally $50 for barangs like me)!
The restaurant had other examples of great staff. Some days the restaurant is overflowing with several hundred guests, other days only a few dozen. Yet they maintain the quality and personal touch from the egg and soup station, to the bountiful buffet, to the waiters and waitresses that clear the tables. The Restaurant Manager Somedy and his Assistant Manager Chhaiya keep it all flowing smoothly. Even on the busiest day, waitress Chanthla took the time to show my Khmer friend’s elderly stepmom the way they fold the napkins. Today the espresso machine was not working for a while, so Chhaiya offered to have a waiter drive over to the sister hotel to bring me lattes. I repeatedly declined, but was very impressed by the excellent customer service attitude.
So the real beauty of this French chateau style hotel is its employees, including very efficient housekeeping and grounds staff. I checked out the “5-Star” Sokha Resort on the other side of its convention center, but did not like it half as much (especially for 70% more per night). Normally I would be afraid to write a review of a hotel that I like so much, but with 456 rooms I don’t have to worry about it being full. Do yourself a favor and stay here when in Siem Reap.
MMariasmdThe room was exactly as show on the photos; spacious clean and bright. I could order breakfast to my room which was great. The first day breakfast was 15 minutes late, but luckily I wasn’t heading for the airport or anything. At the time of my stay there were offering 2 choices for breakfast, which were both delicious. The room came fully stocked with snacks as well as al pullover and Jon alcoholic drinks for cheap. Everything was around a dollar to a dollar twenty five. There is no elevator at this hotel. I was on the third floor and only had a carry-on luggage. Staff were pleasant and answered questions patiently.
