Shangri-La Hotels in Shenzhen

It’s my second stay at Shanghai-la Nanshan. Really enjoyed my last stay, so this time I brought my mum with me. She’s stunned by how pretty the hotel interior is, it’s definitely the style she likes. Here, special thanks to Allen and Alice at the front office, they’re totally caring and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay,the room is perfect, and the night view is amazing. I think I’d choose here again for my next family visit. Thanks for everything!

At check-in, the front desk staff greeted us with a warm smile and quickly located my reservation request, thoughtfully assigning us a room near the elevator. I really enjoyed the view of Shenzhen’s iconic skyscrapers from the window. The bed was very comfortable, and soaking in the bathtub was a real treat—although I wish bath salts had been provided, I happened to have just bought some from the mall. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with a great variety of freshly prepared dishes. I especially loved the slow-cooked beef and radish stew that had been simmering for hours. The restaurant manager (a gentleman with glasses) was particularly attentive—on the first day, we were seated further inside due to the crowd, and when he saw us again the next day, he immediately arranged a more accessible table for us. We’ll definitely be back! 💖

It started off very well during check in and was upgraded because the front office staff gave us a free upgrade after seeing us travel as a big family. However, there was no anti slip mat and the shower head had deteriorated, cutting my wife’s hand. Nonetheless, the team did make it good immediately after we told the staff. Good service recovery but we expected that everything should be clean and proper even before asking.
