Shangri-La Hotels in Shenzhen

Frequent traveller obsessed with the gym. 1. Hotel is fine, like aged wine, tastes good if you like it, average if you don’t appreciate it. 2. Staff are excellent, from floor staff, lifeguard to reception at the concierge.&&& this was the best thing about the hotel. The staff 3. As mentioned, aged wine. It is an old hotel, the carpet in the rooms are comparatively aged as well. Which is not our cup of tea. 4. Gym is fine, big, but machines are at least 10 years old. 5. Swimming pool was acceptable. Can’t complain too much. 6. Kids thought it was ok, but there are better choices. But close proximity to luohu control point, nothing beats that.

It’s my second stay at Shanghai-la Nanshan. Really enjoyed my last stay, so this time I brought my mum with me. She’s stunned by how pretty the hotel interior is, it’s definitely the style she likes. Here, special thanks to Allen and Alice at the front office, they’re totally caring and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay,the room is perfect, and the night view is amazing. I think I’d choose here again for my next family visit. Thanks for everything!

Arrived at late night. Incredible live music performance by singer Hanna and pianist Frank at the hotel lobby lounge, both of whom are talented musicians and we did enjoy the lighthearted chat with them. Decided to stay another night here and surprised to know our classic room was upgraded to a suite. Hotel breakfast which we pre-booked is excellent as usual, and the female staff at Cafe Zen was really helpful when I needed assistance with taking my peppermint hot tea back to the hotel room with the paper cup and plastic lid provided by the cafe.
