"The room size and facilities were faultless. It came with a balcony, which was great for drying clothes and ventilation – a thoughtful feature, as expected from a Guangdong-based hotel brand. The in-room amenities were also excellent. While breakfast was lavish, I was quite disappointed with dinner, and it wasn't the taste that was the problem. The service was incredibly slow; it was clear there wasn't enough staff during the peak season. This isn't a reflection on the service personnel, but rather a systemic issue with your Kande Group. All guests were left waiting. Your Dongguan branch would never have this kind of problem (otherwise, regulars like us would have already given them an earful!). I truly hope the group pays more attention to this hotel and avoids disheartening its Guangdong guests."

Even though there weren't many guests and they weren't busy, both the front desk and restaurant staff were rather cold and indifferent! And while we received a complimentary room upgrade, the cleanliness was appalling. The toilet had urine stains, and the balcony was covered in dead insects, which weren't even cleaned daily! These are not issues you'd expect from a five-star hotel! Furthermore, regarding the children's breakfast, they charge by height, and our child, despite being under 12, was charged the full adult rate. Even public transport no longer charges based on height these days, so this policy felt extremely unreasonable!
