Fantastic locations, a direct subway line 2 from airport to Peoples Square station exit 8. Really quick and convienient and hotel stand in front of traffic light. Easy to find. Very happy with the service. Hotel heard us on over night flight and they arranged us a room by 10 am. The hotel full of history, particularly like the well refurbished furniture and deco. Behind the hotel, there are many eateries. Easy to navigate ti all place of attractions and walking distant to the Bund and Nanking East walking street. Very pleasant experience. Also a nice pastry beside the hotel.

It’s my first stay @ Jianguo Shanghai Hotel. Jianguo Shanghai Hotel is located at the busy Xujiahui business district of Shanghai. Its surroundings are full of vibrancy with the Xujiahui station [Line 1, Line 9 and Line 11] close to the hotel. The hotel facilities are modern & up to date. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The sofa in the hotel room is an added bonus. Even the toilet amenities are provided for the guests. Buffet breakfast @ Jianguo Shanghai Hotel is a delight! There is a wide selection of food which are satisfying to the taste buds. A great place to stay in Shanghai for sure! Will surely make a comeback when I visit Shanghai the next time! YAY!

great hotel,clean rooms, great location , service so good only the hotel need to improve the food and develop it, sometimes we don't have to make a lot of food just we have to improve the food we have thank you

First I have to say that in general the reception staff and general manager are friendly and try to be helpful. Also the cleaning staff do their basic job and the hotel has some amenities and style to it. However, this hotel has not been properly maintained by the owners. You can see the history of the hotel by only looking at the carpets in the rooms, which are dirty, smelly and simply need to be professionally cleaned - or exchanged completely. The hotel appearantly doesn’t enforce the non-smoking policy, since you can smell smoke almost everywhere in the floors and rooms. The total dealbreaker for me was the fact that the aircons in the rooms either emitted a horrible smell, or they didn’t cool down properly, the ACs need to be cleaned and fixed desperately. During my 3 night stay it never got colder than 24C in any of the rooms they assigned to me, even at night when it was only 28C outside. During day temperatures went up much higher. Same issues persisted in every room. I have stayed in many other hotels in China with lower categories than 5 stars and never had such an experience before. Fortunately, the trip.com support managed to cancel the remaining 4 nights of my stay for me, thank you very much.

The renovation is great! The room is neat and clean, and the location is new and clean. The location is very convenient, opposite Line 9 and Tianzifang, with convenient transportation and food and shopping.

I was quite satisfied with the hotel I stayed at last time, so I booked this one this time. It's the best value for money! It's located next to the Longchang Road subway station, so it's convenient for travel. The hotel service is still so good, from the concierge in the lobby to the front desk to the guest rooms, the staff are very enthusiastic and serious. Although the room is old Chinese style, it has all the necessary facilities. The location and price are really good! I didn't experience the breakfast, after all, the surrounding area is relatively convenient, and there is a small supermarket downstairs,

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location was near the airport where we needed to be but it’s not great if you want to explore downtown. The staff were also lovely, The pool is nice and warm enough with great staff too. There was a few concerns I had. We had the ac in as cold and as high as it would go and it was just passable. I’d be scared to come in summer. We had the baby crib which was set up lovely but there was a weird door there baby could kick out of and slip through. We put a suitcase up next to it to keep it shut but it could be really dangerous if you didn’t notice.

A very perfect stay experience. The location is in the prime area of Jing'an Temple, with convenient transportation and quiet in the bustling city. The front desk reception is warm and thoughtful. The hotel decoration is stylish and elegant. The facilities in the room are particularly complete. It is clean and tidy. It is very suitable for long-term stays. When I checked out, I was given a souvenir from Jing'an Bakery. I will continue to choose Haige Apartment when I go to Shanghai again

This hotel is perfect if you are looking for a gateway from the busy city life with your family, friends or as a couple. As soon as I walked through the entrance I exclaimed “Wow” and “Wow” again when I walked into the apartment we booked. Everyone is super helpful, they cater to the needs you have and as a mom traveling with a baby I needed a few things. Thank you for helping me make this Birthday stay extra special by decorating the living room, writing a card and getting us a cake all at no extra cost. The apartment was huge, super spacious! On the bed it was me the baby and my friend and we still had space, the bathroom was very clean and had everything you’d need. If you order online a robot delivers your food to your room door. So lovely! We almost missed breakfast on one morning and we called for room service, they brought us everything we asked for even though it was at short notice. I’d go there again if it wasn’t so far.
