Modern, clean, and kind staff at this hotel! We arrived late but still had time for their late night snack which included noodle soup. We absolutely enjoyed the food at this hotel. The breakfast had tons of western and Chinese options. The rooms were super clean and large. The front desk staff were super helpful. Some even spoke English. The building itself was super new and modern. We really enjoyed the stay and the value of the room! Would highly recommend.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, rated 5/5, and the cleanliness was impressive, also earning a 5/5. The service was attentive and friendly, rated 4/5. Facilities were good, making this a great choice for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Highly recommend!

Mr zhang at the front desk with the glasses is extremely kind and helpful. He does an amazing job doing introductions to all the hotel facilities and gave us lots of water to drink. He was very welcoming and very helpful. He went a step further other to even help me doing the drying cloths job which isn’t supposed to be the scope of his work. Super kind and friendly and I am very thankful.
The place is very central, close to many fancy restaurants and cafes, suchs Starbucks’s and Tims, the room is very spaciousus, sufficient lights from the windows and very comfort AC temperature. The bed is large and soft, ensured us to have very deep sleep. The TV programs are fun to watch.
The amenities are very new, great sitting area in the lounge, comfy couches and very nice laundry facilitiesiloyies on the second floors floor. Breakfast is such a plus, they have a greatt number of different types of food, from sweet dumplings to tasty shanghai noodles, from watermelon to fresh veggie salad. Yogurts and Milk, I definitely would come back again and it’s my only go to placee in the area.
Overall, a great stay! The value for money is excellent, and the rooms are really nice – you wouldn't guess it's a hotel that's been open for ten years. It's very close to Hongqiao Airport, and the surrounding amenities are good, making it super convenient. There's even a subway line right outside the entrance. We went to Xintiandi in the evening, and the subway ride was very convenient. There's a unique boat display at the hotel entrance, and the service was absolutely superb. This is easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at in years, both for the overall experience and value. Plus, there's a kids' play area on the fourth floor. I'm already planning to bring my child here next time!
The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite Changfeng Park. It's easily accessible from Metro Line 15, Exit 3 – just turn right and walk a short distance, and you'll spot the hotel's signage. There are also convenient bus routes nearby, and Joy City Mall is right across the street, making it incredibly convenient for transportation, dining, and shopping.
The facilities are new. The room was standard, though it could use a few more drawers. The magnifying round mirror near the vanity requires quite a bend to use, which was a bit awkward 😄. I assume a retractable mirror isn't feasible given the room's design.
The service was excellent, truly flawless! 😄
My only minor quibble is that I didn't get a room facing Changfeng Park this time.
This Hualuxe property features an executive lounge, offering both afternoon tea and Happy Hour, which was a very welcome amenity.
The room was better than expected, with a large area, quite square, and good hygiene. There were many kinds of items on the desk, including pencils, letter paper, erasers, pencil sharpeners, staplers, paper clips, and magazines such as ELLE and Rui Shi. It came with breakfast, the service attitude was good, the lobby was also spacious and beautiful, and there were aid-to-Tibet items, which was a bit unexpected or pleasant.
The room was quite spacious for Shanghai. The location is excellent, with a subway station nearby making transfers very convenient. The front desk staff were very friendly; upon arrival, they offered us a bottle of water and cooling patches. In an age where hotel facilities are often quite similar, these thoughtful, personalized details truly make a lasting impression. Free luggage storage is available after check-out. The laundry room requires card access and is equipped with two washer and dryer sets. My only suggestion for improvement would be the breakfast; the quality of the main course options was quite mediocre, and there weren't many vegetarian choices.
The hotel is in close proximity to the subway station at least 3 minutes walk. There's a mall across the street for food and shopping. Taxis are easily accessible and reasonably priced. The rooms are very clean, housekeeping service daily. My room includes a washer/dryer, fridge, stove and microwave. The staff have gone above and beyond and I KNOW because I work in the hospitality industry. Big thanks to Juliet at the Front Desk. My room attendant Sicily, she's the best!!!!! Room supervisor Cindy. I have extended my stay an extra week because everyone has been so AWESOME!!!!! I have a 15 night stay in China so I booked a week at this property to have a feel of the place before committing to 15 nights, yes I am WOWED!! They have all won me over!! There's a server at breakfast that's absolutely outstanding, I will get her name on my next review. Thanks to all the staff for all the hard work you do!!! Continue to shine!!!!
Facilities: My favorite small refrigerator, a must-have in summer. Watermelon on ice, perfect for watching TV series. The lighting is also soft. The lighting at check-in is very considerate.
Sanitation: Clean
Environment: Pretty good,
Service: The front desk service is very gentle and I like this atmosphere

Excellent
AAnonymous UserThe customer service was great. The room had windows that opened for ventilation and screens, so there were no mosquitoes. There were many restaurants and bars nearby. The elevator had a card reader to go upstairs, and there was a text message at the door with an anti-theft link, which was reassuring. When it was hot, ice and lemonade were provided on the first floor.
MM783232****Considering it's Shanghai, the value for money here is excellent. However, one minor thing I have to complain about is that screen mirroring requires a membership – couldn't they just have Bilibili built-in? They also have washing machines and dryers, but I never managed to get a turn, so I ended up taking my clothes home to wash. Both the front desk and the cleaning staff were very friendly. Although I did spot a few small bugs flying around right after checking in, they disappeared almost immediately. All things considered, it's a good place.
GGuest UserCleanliness: The bed linens were a bit of a problem; they made my skin itchy, and I developed a small rash the next day that hasn't gone away yet.
The front desk service was excellent, and the staff were very polite. Check-in and check-out were efficient and excellent. However, upon check-in, I wasn't informed that my room had no windows, so it was all wall-to-wall with no view, which was a negative. My request for an upgrade was ultimately unsuccessful.
The bathroom in the room was spacious and nice, but the cleanliness of the linens and towels warrants attention.
The minibar had a wide selection of coffee and tea, and was well-stocked.
The hotel doesn't have a pool, but there are swimming options nearby.
GGuest UserEven though it only recently opened, I've already returned multiple times. The overall decor features warm tones, and the lighting is soft and non-glaring. The room layout feels very residential and comfortable. The mattress provides excellent support with just the right firmness, and you can choose between soft or firm pillows. Thoughtful details like bedside USB-C and multi-port outlets are very convenient.
The gym is far more impressive than what you'd find in most hotels of its class. Besides the usual treadmills and elliptical machines, they offer a good selection of dumbbells and even a cable pulley machine, allowing for exercises like lat pulldowns, flyes, and rows. Towels and bottled water are provided, and the ventilation is good.
The service truly stands out, especially from Dora at the front desk. On my first visit, my room had a slight new-renovation smell. After I reported it, Dora promptly changed my room within minutes, showing great efficiency and professionalism. This time, she even proactively upgraded me to a suite.
The common areas are also very pleasant, with a modern and youthful design aesthetic. While the hotel is still in its ramp-up phase, the organization and attention to detail are already remarkably polished. My sincere thanks to Dora and the entire front desk team for their attentiveness. I'll definitely make this my first choice for future Shanghai trips and will recommend it to friends for both business travel and weekend getaways.
GGuest UserThe hotel environment is very good, there is fresh fruit tea in the lobby, it is delicious! The front desk staff is very enthusiastic DDDDD, every time they come in and out, they will greet us, and they will ask if they need help with luggage when they check in. The room has my favorite full-length mirror, the mirror is very convenient, the health is very clean, the air conditioning is great! 👍 Mainly because you can park for free at the entrance of this hotel, it saves money and is convenient haha, there is a pedestrian street nearby, it will be there after a while, there are a lot of food inside, it is highly recommended D
GGuest UserI gave it a full five-star rating, but that doesn't mean it was without its minor quirks. 😂
The suite we booked was truly excellent and impeccably clean. It's particularly well-suited for business travelers, with an abundance of power outlets conveniently located everywhere.
I only have two minor observations:
1. The toilet was unusually high. My feet were dangling when I sat down, which felt quite awkward. 😂
2. The rug in front of the sofa was a bit dirty. I understand this type of carpet can be hard to keep perfectly clean, and I didn't get a photo of it.
Aside from these small points, everything else was fantastic. The location is extremely convenient, being very close to the subway station. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next business trip. I hope the hotel continues to excel and enjoy great success! 👍
RRzy_The room is extremely small, with just a bathroom, a bed and a table, and no empty space. It's marked as 15 square meters, but the room is definitely not 15 square meters, it's really very small, super small! It will be uncomfortable to stay here for a long time. You can't even get out of the other side of the bed. The same room type in Suzhou and Hangzhou is much bigger than this room. And the reservation was for breakfast. After checking the reservation information, the front desk said there was no breakfast. I waited for a while and checked again and it said there was breakfast. I don’t know why the reservation information checked on the two computers is different…
GGuest UserVery good stay for a few days, the room is clean, the front desk is friendly, there are water dispensers and microwave ovens on the floor, which is very user-friendly and worth recommending! It would be more perfect if the window glass was replaced with double-layer.
LLaoyinghz123Very good hotel, generally booked their home when you arrive in Shanghai on business trips, it feels good, every time I go there, I will choose this one, because I feel that his home is very clean, especially the bed is very clean and tidy, the living is very comfortable, the surrounding is also quiet, there is a supermarket next to it, the night market is very convenient, Opposite is the Jinfang Market, you can go shopping, parking is convenient, overall good
