Service: I have to start by complimenting the hotel's service; I genuinely want to give it 5 stars! As soon as I booked on the platform, a hotel staff member called me immediately to confirm my check-in details and proactively asked if I had any special requests they could accommodate. They sent the hotel's detailed address in advance and even thoughtfully prepared some fruit. The entire check-in process was a great experience. Environment: The hotel's location is very prominent, right by the road, making it easy to find. For guests visiting Shanghai, the location is also excellent, with plenty of good dining, drinking, and shopping options nearby. Facilities: The room was quite small and compact; opening a 28-inch suitcase would be a bit difficult. However, the price wasn't expensive, so for a one-night stay, it was still good value for money. The soundproofing in the room was a bit poor, but the staff actively addressed and resolved the issue, which deserves a big thumbs up!

A hidden gem in Xujiahui's city center! This hotel offers a peaceful retreat while being just a short hundred-meter stroll from popular downtown spots like Plaza 66. Recently renovated, all the facilities are brand new and exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. There's a restaurant right downstairs, offering fantastic value for money and delicious food. I'll definitely be staying here again!

This stay really exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff, both the young man and young woman, provided excellent service. Check-in was super quick, and they even offered to help me with my luggage to the elevator. Knowing I had a child with me, they specially arranged a quiet, high-floor room. The room was very clean, and the bedding was soft. The hotel's location is also great; it's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, making it convenient for dining and shopping nearby. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but everything is fresh, and the freshly cooked noodles and soy milk tasted fantastic. They even gave us a small souvenir when we checked out. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town!

This hotel is great! For this price in Shanghai, it offers excellent value for money as a place to stay. The rooms are spacious, and there's a coffee shop downstairs, making it very convenient for meeting friends. It's about a 10-minute walk from the subway station, and there's a really good Lanzhou Lamian restaurant right across the street.

The facilities are very smart and excellent. It's very convenient for traveling with children. The surrounding subway and taxis are all easily accessible. The staff are very welcoming, and the hygiene is good. It offers great value for money.

The front desk service was warm and welcoming. I visited Shanghai during the National Day holiday and my single room on the 19th floor offered an open view, quietness, and comfort. The room was well-equipped with toiletries, a hairdryer, and a refrigerator, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Jianguo Hotel's location is excellent, right by Exit 2 of Xujiahui Station on Metro Line 11. It's also a convenient 40-minute taxi ride to Hongqiao Airport. Shopping and dining options are abundant nearby, as it's right next to the Xujiahui commercial district. The customer service staff were always smiling, and my overall experience was fantastic. I'll definitely choose to stay here again!

The room wasn’t aired , i asked specifically for a non corner room and ironically it is what i got, and there were insects spiders and other insects that i don’t know inside the room , however the staff were friendly and they provided extra water , not bad for one night considering the low price and the convenient location in the center of Shanghai

Overall, it was quite good. For a business traveler like me, it was pretty decent. The stay was relatively comfortable. Although the breakfast selection was small, it was sufficient. The cleaning staff and the ladies at the breakfast restaurant were all super nice and very enthusiastic. Facilities: Honestly, the ventilation in the room could be improved. It felt like it was entirely dependent on the window, as if there was no indoor exhaust system. Also, the air conditioning could probably be optimized because it wasn't very cool. It's possible the timing of my visit was awkward – Shanghai in October, neither hot nor cold, which might make it difficult to regulate. Service: Very good. Both the aunties and the young ladies at the front desk were great. Value for money: Decent.

I needed a translator because they didn't speak English, but the staff were all very kind! The room was spacious and clean, which is hard to believe considering the price. It's very convenient because you can go to Yuyuan Garden, the Bund, Wukang Road, etc. from the bus stop (Dingxi Road) which is a 5-minute walk away. They leave bottled water for you every day when they clean the room. I'd like to stay here again!

I stayed in the hotel for one night with a friend of mine. The room is big enough and clean but it smells like cigarettes. The staff at the reception is kind and helpful. There is no elevator. The property is located 10 minutes walk from the subway, about 30 minutes by public transport from the center of Shanghai.
