A Perfect Stay – Exceptional Service and Thoughtful Perks
I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff. Everyone I encountered was warm, polite, and incredibly attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure my comfort. Their hospitality truly made the stay feel special.
What really stood out were the thoughtful complimentary perks that added so much value to the experience. Each day, I received a fresh selection of fruits in my room, along with a delicious complimentary dessert delivered in the evening (available between 5pm and 11pm - just inform the front desk and they will send to your room). On top of that, the hotel offers free daily laundry service, which was incredibly convenient, especially for a longer stay. The free flow of coffee and tea in the lobby was also a nice touch, creating a cozy space to relax or catch up on work.
One of the highlights of my stay was the impressive breakfast spread, which offered a great mix of both Western and local dishes. Whether you're in the mood for a comforting bowl of congee or a classic Western breakfast, there's something for everyone – fresh, tasty, and well presented.
The location is another big plus – the hotel is just a short walk from Yuanshen Road metro station, making it very easy to get around the city.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located place with top-notch service and generous amenities, I highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here for one night in a deluxe park room. The room was of a decent size, was extremely clean and the air conditioning worked well (it was 38 degrees outside so this was important). Toiletries were all provided. All the staff I interacted with were excellent. Breakfast was buffet-style and good, with a lot of variety. My only disappointment was that even though my room had a balcony this couldn't be opened, for safety reasons I guess.
During my stay I went down to the bar and had an evening meal with a couple of drinks. The bar had a lovely ambiance. My food was delicious and the meal deal I selected included beer and sides thrown in and was of exceptional value. The bar manager, Thomas, was very welcoming and friendly. I thoroughly recommend a visit even if it's just for a drink.
I will be returning to Shanghai next March and will definitely return.

The hotel is located near exhibition centre and Laya Plaza mall. Has its own parking and 500 m from metro station. The rooms are small but have window and clean. The toilet is equipped with toiletries and clean towels. They hotel offers free Do it your own laundry, dry and ironing service which is great. The breakfast is good although most items are Chinese dishes but salads, eggs, fruits, juice milk and cake can be had by western and other asian non Chinese food eating people. The reception is manned 24 hrs and has luggage storage and outside food order delivery service to room by robot. They have strict checkout policy at 12 otherwise payable by every hour. The hotel is not part of Accor anymore despite the same name and is under H brand of hotels as per reception staff.

The hotel lobby is exceptionally spacious, and the front desk staff (Heidi) provided swift and cordial check-in service, personally escorting guests to the elevator while offering detailed introductions to the hotel facilities. The room affords a panoramic view of Shanghai's iconic ”Three Giants” skyline, presenting a truly magnificent spectacle. We highly recommend this establishment for travelers and vacationers visiting Shanghai, as the overall service quality is commendable.

Simple hotel, well located on Century Avenue. Only 5 minutes walk to subway lines 2, 4, 6, and 9. Friendly staff. The rooms are quiet and clean, although it is quite obvious that my room will need some renovation in the near future.

Let me detail our experience. The overall ambiance of the lobby was quite pleasant. However, despite booking a family room because our child needed an afternoon nap, we couldn't check in until almost 3:00 PM. An earlier check-in time would have been much appreciated, especially since we had pre-booked.
Furthermore, we were eagerly looking forward to our first stay with our three-year-old, but the actual room significantly differed from the pictures online. The themed kangaroo cushion and the attractive floor mat shown were both missing and never provided. The children's tent and cot were also absent from the room upon arrival; I had to call the front desk to have staff bring them and set them up. The children's gift package included in our booking, the welcome fruit, and the sweets/biscuits from the kids' package were all delivered much later than expected. These service aspects were definitely substandard.
On the positive side, the hotel's children's play area was quite good, and our child really enjoyed it.
However, the most significant issue was a hygiene problem, possibly with the cot, the beanbag chair, or the towels/bathrobes. My child developed numerous red rashes on their neck after just one night, while I, as an adult, experienced no issues. We reported this problem the very next morning, but neither the online customer service nor the front desk manager found time to address it. We received no suitable resolution even by noon on our check-out day, only repeated apologies from one front desk staff member.
**Minibar:** The minibar's initial stock was acceptable and met our expectations.
**Children's Welcome Package:** This wasn't in the room upon arrival; we had to call the front desk to get it. Furthermore, a kangaroo plush toy, which was supposed to be included, was repeatedly said to be out of stock by the front desk. Despite their claims, it was eventually delivered after multiple inquiries, which was frustrating.
**Free access to the children's adventure playground for one child during the stay:** This was a definite highlight. The adventure playground offered a good variety of activities, with some areas suitable for toddlers and others for slightly older children.

The hotel's location is fantastic, directly connected to Expo World, making it convenient for dining and shopping. It's less than a 5-minute walk from China Art Museum Station on Line 8. The Mercedes-Benz Arena and the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall are both within easy reach, making them incredibly convenient for concerts, sightseeing in Shanghai, or attending an exhibition. During my stay, the front desk staff, Yuelle, provided warm and professional service that exceeded my expectations. A special thumbs-up! Not only was she efficient and swift in completing all the paperwork, she proactively and thoughtfully inquired about my needs and even adjusted my room to a better view in advance. Throughout the entire process, she was patient and gentle, smiling, which truly impressed me. I'm grateful for the excellent service provided by the front desk team, and I look forward to experiencing this same professionalism and attentiveness again on my next stay!

The room was very spacious and comfortable. While the soundproofing was decent, the window seal was broken, preventing it from closing completely. Being on the 3rd floor, I could hear some street noise from pedestrians below. The wet/dry separation in the bathroom was a big plus, and the night light design was thoughtfully done. However, the indoor lighting was a bit dim; a brighter setup would be ideal.
It's a standalone building with a dedicated parking lot downstairs. The key card access at the entrance made it feel very secure, and EV charging stations were also available. The breakfast spread was far more extensive than I had expected, though my only minor complaint was that the freshly prepared noodles and wontons were a bit bland.
Its location is unbeatable, right above Metro Lines 2 and 18, with Exit 17 literally at the doorstep. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is ok for the price but not recommended when you cannot speak fluent Mandarin. We had a bad experience with a night shift staff who was very rude... Playing games while we were having trouble locating our daughter's phone dropped inside Didi taxi. He was oblivious and very unhelpful. We took a video of him playing games right in front of the counter and showed this to his manager. His manager made it up to us by helping us talk to the Didi driver and retrieiving the lost phone. But the staff playing games in front of a client while on duty is unacceptable. In contrast, there's a very hard working staff who keeps looking for ways to help people. Mr. Zhang. I took a picture of him to commend his efforts in welcoming guests and bringing tea to those seated. Internet here is terribly unstable and unreliable. Generous access to bottled water, coffee and tea. Breakfast is ok. Many good restaurants around to try. Especially the one across Little Camel BBQ and right beside crab roe xiao long bao.

FFangjiabobaoyuanMy stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room layout was very well-designed, feeling spacious and bright the moment I walked in. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with soft and fluffy bedding, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The sofa in the living area was also fantastic; its color scheme perfectly complemented the room's overall style. It was wonderfully soft, making it very pleasant to relax and watch TV. The TV offered crisp picture quality, and the thoughtful window-side design ensured excellent natural light. With the sun streaming in during the day, the entire room felt wonderfully warm and inviting. Cleanliness was also impeccable; every corner was spotless.

GGuest UserThe lobby is spacious and bright, and the room is very clean. Sister Jia at the front desk, several other ladies, and the cleaning aunt and the restaurant uncle are all very enthusiastic and provide good service. The room is next to an elevated building but the windows are closed tightly so you can't hear any noise. After ordering takeout, it is very convenient to have a robot come to deliver the food. I am very happy and satisfied with my stay!

AAnanziFirst, the cons: After checking in, when I pulled back the covers, I noticed a small stain on the bed. It looked like an old, persistent mark, which was a bit off-putting. 🤣🤣🤣
Now, for the pros: The location is excellent, with a dedicated pick-up/drop-off point. The hotel's environment is quite good; the lobby and corridors were well-maintained and clean. Delivery of tissues and toiletries was also very prompt. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, even assisting me with sending/receiving express packages, which I greatly appreciated.

GGuest UserThe room was small but had everything you need, except for the lack of shower slippers.
Aside from the poor soundproofing, everything else was fine. The robot delivery service was very convenient.
As for cleanliness, it seems they have a maid come every afternoon. If this bothers you, you might want to let the front desk know in advance. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

GGuest UserClean and sanitary. Close to the subway station. The bed is comfortable. Disposable toiletries and water are provided. What is particularly pleasant is that the front desk sister is very nice and kind. She helped to upgrade the room. The security brother also helped to carry the heavy suitcase. It was a very pleasant stay experience!

GGuest UserIt's on the street, convenient for eating, and close to the subway station, very easy to find. I arrived at night, the front desk lady was very friendly, and the room was very clean. I was worried that the water would not be hot before, but after a little time, there was hot water, which was very good.

GGuest UserFor a single room, it is appropriate to think of it as a goshiwon room with a private bathroom.
The facilities are old, but there are no broken items, and both hot and cold water flow well.
Changqing Road subway station is less than 100 meters away, and it is 2 subway stops to the Shanghai International Expo exhibition center without transfers.
It is about 15 to 20 minutes on foot to the exhibition center, and there are many local restaurants near the subway station.
The front desk does not speak any language other than Chinese. (A translator is essential.)
It is a very cost-effective accommodation for accommodation for attending the exhibition.
However, for tourism purposes, it is lacking in facilities and cleanliness.
