Hotels in Xinzhuang Industrial Park, Shanghai

During my recent stay at Chateau Star River Hotel, I found the facilities to be excellent and the interior decor tastefully designed, creating a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, contributing to an overall pleasant physical environment. However, the service quality did not match the standard expected from such a well-appointed hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk staff mistakenly assigned me a children’s room, which required me to return to reception and resolve the issue—a rather inconvenient start to my stay. While the room I was eventually given was comfortable and spacious, cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathtub, in particular, had two dead flies and a hardened stain on its surface, which was quite disappointing. I did encounter staff members who demonstrated professionalism—for example, the gentleman managing the breakfast check-in was courteous and efficient. Nonetheless, such instances were the exception rather than the rule. On one occasion, I decided to book a massage at the hotel spa to relieve some back pain. The treatment, which cost approximately $50, was average and initially unproblematic. Unfortunately, at the end of the session, the masseuse offered me an additional service, the nature of which I will refrain from describing here, but I trust it is not difficult to imagine. I declined immediately. Regardless of the hotel's level of control over this matter, given that the spa operates within the premises, I found this situation deeply inappropriate and upsetting.

As soon as I stepped into the Qingju Hotel on Jiuting Street in Songjiang, I was healed by the spring breeze smile at the front desk, and the meticulous and thoughtful service made me feel at ease. The elegant aroma in the lobby instantly dispelled the fatigue of the journey. The guest rooms are extremely soundproofed and quiet as if isolated from the world. The breakfast is not only rich in variety, but also full of fireworks. Smart and convenient hardware facilities, paired with soft bedding, are simply a warm and caring travel feast. The bedding is as always maintained as the quality of Atour, and the pillows are all pro models, very comfortable. It is very close to Hongqiao Airport, 15 minutes by car. There are also many places to eat nearby, and there are two shopping malls nearby. I will continue to choose next time.

Overall the hotel deserves at least a rating of 4.5/5. The one and only disadvantage is probably the location. The train station is just doorstep but it takes around 1 hour to main attractions in ShangHai. But given the price, I think it’s alright and the metro fee is cheap. It takes around maximum of 8 yen for each ride. Besides that, the hotel has laundry services which is free of charge. This was a very bonus point of the hotel. There are also a lot of bicycles in front of the hotel which makes transporting around the area convenient. There’s a mcd right below the hotel and KFC within 10 minutes walk. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with good amenities! Hotel room was big and spacious with a comfy bed and pillows. The hotel was very clean and had good facilities. Surrounding the hotel were lots of restaurants, shops and things to do. The breakfast in the hotel was very good for only 30元 The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. Cindy at the front desk was extra helpful when checking us in & she could speak English which was a plus! Would highly recommend this hotel & would definitely stay again! 10/10!

The hotel boasts a fantastic environment with excellent air conditioning. Check-in was incredibly smooth and quick. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and attentive; they meticulously verified the children's IDs and even presented them with welcome gifts. The lobby also featured charming food delivery robots. The swimming pool was clean and uncrowded, ensuring we had a wonderful time during our two-day stay. We also took the kids to visit the nearby Nanjing Photo Studio film set and indulged in plenty of delicious, affordable food options close to the hotel.

Hotel service is very good, health is in place, complete facilities, especially the front desk waiter ms huang, very thoughtful, for me detailed breakfast and afternoon tea, to ten in the evening and noodles can eat, the restaurant is on the first floor, not far from the elevator is very convenient, upstairs and free laundry and fitness equipment, overall check-in experience is very good, what is the demand, ms huang is very timely to help solve, next time will come here again.

The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, with excellent soundproofing. The TV featured screen mirroring and offered a wide array of entertainment options. In the evenings, complimentary congee was available on the second floor. We also received a small complimentary bottled water upon checkout. The overall service was superb. The booking process was swift, the room was odor-free, and check-in was exceptionally fast. The front desk staff were highly professional, and the electronic invoicing system was very convenient. Highly recommend this hotel!

The room is big, nice and clean! I occasionally eat there with friends and searched for hotels nearby for convenience! The result was a big surprise. It’s inside the Cultural and Creative Park. The environment inside can be seen directly from the pictures. You can come out in the morning or afternoon to have a cup of coffee, listen to the birds singing, and look at the autumn leaves! Gorgeous! The hotel front desk was very welcoming, and there was a terrace on the 6th floor where you could enjoy the entire park! If you have enough time, it would be best to have afternoon tea! Highly 5-star recommendation! I'll find a chance to stay here again next time!

The room is nice. It is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. I come here every month. I didn't like the direction of the room when it first opened. The front desk was also very enthusiastic to help me change the room. Every time I come here, the front desk staff are very warm to receive me. They also take the initiative to help dry the washed clothes. If I don't have time for breakfast in the morning, I can take it away. It's very humane. Haha, recommended

We went to the playland just nearby and to celebrate my son’s bday. We chose a kid’s themes room. It was decent… bootleg Elsa and Frozen stickers decorated the room and a playpen with balls and a slide was included. Room size was decent, bathroom and tub nice. Service was so, so. We called down for some plates and nobody ever came. All and all it was ok for what it was… a place to have some delivered pizza,sleep and go to the playland. The mall neat door was convenient for coffee and a Covid test. I would return if we went back to the playland.
