The service was beyond my expectation!
I arrived quite late since I came across province (from Hangzhou) and need to prepare myself in order to travel to South Korea and Japan on the next day. So I planned to wash my clothes and repack my luggage here.
When I arrived here, they asked a lot of questions in case I need anything. They even have a free dumpling soup (เกี๊ยวน้ำ) during 10-11 PM.
I prepared my noodles cups to eat here at first since I researched that not many restaurant surrounded, so they helped my cooked the cup noodles with their coffee machine (for boiled water) and I can had them with free dumpling soups. Felt good!
Washing machines are downstairs, I couldn’t used it since I had no Chinese numbers, so the receptionist helped me too, and the laundry is free here, too.
So I can see many people had the dumpling soup while waiting for their laundry. Full of people in the lobby during 10-11 PM. Never expected to see this.
The room was nice too. Not big but enough space, with a great view of Shanghai. Comfortable room with enough ventilation.
I hope I can come back staying here again one day!
The place is quite nice, the rooms are cozy and have everything you may need. CityGo House is located a bit far from downtown (it takes around 30-40mins by subway), however the location itself is good, the subway station is very near, there are also many shopping malls around, where you can find anything you need.
The service though was not the best. It took a long time to check in with the foreign passport, the staff looked lost and confused. Their English is very poor as well.

I recommend Citigo Lujiazui for 2 main reasons - 1, The location is fantastic. So near to the major iconic buildings of Shanghai and yet residential. The entrance to the hotel is also beautifully designed and more tasteful than standard hotels. 3. The service. From the reception to the housekeeping team and the ladies at breakfast who are super friendly and helpful. No request is too difficult and no question too troublesome. Had a most pleasant 4-night stay!

I used this location as a staycation. It was a nice little get away with a lovely walking path along the river nearby. The room did have a funny smell to it, but you didn’t notice it except for the first minute you walked in to the room.

A very pleasant stay and friendly reception. The hotel is a bit out of the buzzing vibe of the city and we mostly had to use Didi’s to get around. Overall a very good experience and I will certainly book again.

Room was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was pretty good. Close to Shanghai Zoo, Agean Shopping Mall and Korean Street.
The hotel is clean and modern. It is situated 5 mins walk to sanmen subway station (line no 10) so traveling to WUJIANGCHANG - the commercial hub is only 2 stops travelling.
The hotel provide good brunch from 7am- 12noon to suit different timing of customers. This is a plus point for most guests. Further, it also provide FREE supper from 10-11pm for people who need it. There is also a laundry room for use.
So, as first time customer, I am totally impressed with the service and standard!
The overall experience was great. These are some areas for improvement:
1) Cleanliness - I smelled foul smell (urine) but since I was too tired, I did not bother to change room. I did inform the front desk
2) Staff - Staff were friendly especially one of lady I interacted with. A few of the junior staff required more training and need to sharpen their English speaking skills. A guy by the nickname, 孔明, is especially helpful. He came to our room to resolve WiFi access issue.
3) Communication: There should be English version of documents if you expect more foreign visitors.

Ggene geneCitiGo Hotel is a very fantastic hotel in many aspects. The hotel room is clean, has a very modern interior design, and looks exactly like in the pictures. The most impressive thing I found during my long stay in this hotel is that all the hotel staff are super kind and willing to help regardless of my weak skill in the Chinese language. They all have strong service minds and are so generous. They tried so hard to help me with anything I asked. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay at CitiGo Hotel during their visit to Shanghai.

AAnonymous UserOverall the hotel is good if you are going airport and disneyland because got free shuttle transport ... if you want to travel by public transport then the bus station just 3 minutes walk frm the hotel (mrt is super far from hotel so you need to take bus then only mrt)
I select this hotel over the tons of accommodations because of the breakfast and to be honest the breakfast here really under my expectation and make me upset.... meal serve without indicator thus it a problem for me as i dont eat beef due to allergy (accidentlly pick and eat beef and faster split out ...lucky no allergy). I dint ask the worker there about the food because they are not really friendly. Need to pay for coffee.
Most of the frontliner is teenager so cant expect they are excellent in customer services (some of them really need to be more polite and pro in job)
About Room... Design is modern style which is good... got fridge ... but why 4 stars hotel not provide coffee or tea in room like other hotel ?
