"Very Nice Hotel with Friendly and Helpful staffs! Staffs helped to carry luggages up and when leaving, help to carry as well to car. Many shops around and it's inside Gu Zheng but car can still drive in! Plus point for location! Staff was nice and WeChat before we arrive and wait for us at the entrance and bring all our luggages down!!! Room is big, plentiful of bottle water and also us to feel free to take! And yes they have oxygen on request if you need! Just use wechat to communicate with them! Very easy! Will love to be back in this hotel!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is excellent, very close to all the main attractions, which made getting around so easy. A big plus was the free transportation provided to and from the airport/railway station—such a convenient service. The staff also helped us with our luggage right from the car all the way to our room, which we truly appreciated. Our room was very spacious, perfect for two people with big suitcases, and still had plenty of space to move around comfortably. Breakfast was yummy too, with a nice variety to start the day. The staff also gave great recommendations on places to visit, which added so much to our trip. Overall, a wonderful experience—we’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"We chartered a car from Lijiang to Shangri-La. Sister Zhuoma and her handsome husband were waiting there early. Entering the moonlit night was like opening Pandora's box. The traditional style of the room amazed us❗️The bed was so comfortable. I immediately had the most peaceful sleep on the trip. Sister Zhuoma and her family were very hospitable. They took out their treasured ******* clothes for my son to change into. Any photo inside the homestay was very photogenic! We were also lost in the welcome home and almost forgot to buy tickets home. Hahaha. This time, time is limited. Next time, I will take my family to find Sister Zhuoma and the ******* Mastiff in Sister Zhuoma's heart."

It felt like stepping into a Miyazaki fairytale world. This trip was absolutely legendary! 📍Unbeatable Location It's situated right within the Napa Lake Yila Grassland Scenic Area, with the majestic Shika Snow Mountain🏔️ directly opposite. Plenty of attractions are nearby; it's very close to Dukezong Ancient City and Songzanlin Monastery, making getting around super convenient 🚗. 🏠Amazing Rooms The rooms boast huge floor-to-ceiling windows, offering absolutely stunning natural light 🌟. The in-room facilities are also exceptionally comprehensive, including underfloor heating and an oxygen system, so there's no need to worry about altitude sickness or the cold. 🐾Pet Paradise This place is truly a paradise for animal lovers! Gentle alpacas🦙, playful lambs🐏, and well-behaved dogs🐕 are not afraid of people at all. They're incredibly therapeutic, love cuddles, and are super photogenic 📷. ☕Dining & Relaxation In the afternoon, head to the Black Bean Coffee House, order a cup of aromatic coffee, and sit by the window to soak in the view. It was so relaxing, I didn't want to leave. 💁Attentive Service The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service. The staff are warm, thoughtful, and promptly fulfill any requests. "The owner was incredibly kind, making us feel right at home. The surroundings are breathtaking, with panoramic views of Napa Lake spread out before you – a true feast for the eyes. We stayed for 4 nights, and each day brought a different, beautiful landscape as the weather shifted. It was absolutely worth every moment! These photos were taken from our hotel room, but my phone's camera quality isn't the best, so they don't quite capture its full beauty."

"This was my first time visiting Shangri-La, and naturally, I chose to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel. The entire hotel features a comprehensive Tibetan-style decor, with all its decorations and furnishings exuding authentic ******* charm. Upon entering, you're immediately greeted by the distinct scent of ******* incense. Its location is superb, offering views of various landmark buildings right outside the windows. While the facilities are somewhat dated, they are well-kept. The staff were also very warm and welcoming, and the breakfast spread was quite generous. There were a couple of minor issues: during checkout, someone else's expenses were mistakenly charged to our room, and we had a slight problem returning an umbrella. Both were eventually resolved, but it was a bit of a hassle."

"Great location—very close to the Ancient Town, yet in a peaceful, quiet area. It’s 50 meters from the taxi drop-off point and the road to the homestay little bit uphill so be prepared for a short walk with luggage. The owner was very helpful and kindly assisted us with our luggage. There was a electric heated mattress, which kept us warm while sleeping, and 1 room heater provided. However, the heater wasn’t quite enough to warm the entire room, and unfortunately there’s a gap in the door (couldn’t close tightly), which allowed cold air to enter and made the room even colder."

"Amazing view from our room. Staff really accommodating. Muslim traveller can request for vegetarian meal for breakfast. Prepare register WeChat for easy communication. Thank you for the biscuit gift. Keep it up good work! Cleanliness can be improved. There are hard water marks in the washroom (the photos i took after check-in). I wish there is more clarity about the complimentary service. Photos of afternoon tea as advertised not same, regardless, it was still a good cup of coffee and cake. Same goes to goodnight gift soup as first night only receive milk and only second night we get warm soup."

"The ambiance was exceptionally comfortable. My child's first words upon arriving were, 'Can we stay two more days?' 😂 **Service:** The young lady at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful. She assisted with transfers to/from the station, suggested places to visit, and the hotel offers various partnered services. They helped us book a Tusi banquet and arranged private car services, which saved us a lot of hassle. **Altitude Sickness Relief: In-room Oxygen Concentrators:** I simply *must* highlight this! Before arriving, I had already developed altitude sickness after climbing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang. On the second night of our stay, I had a headache, and my blood oxygen level was consistently below 90. My wife inquired at the front desk that evening, and it turns out their rooms are equipped with professional oxygen concentrators. It was incredibly convenient; I just used it for a while when I felt unwell, and by the next day, I was perfectly fine. Huge thanks to the low-key young owner! 😁 Furthermore, we only found out as we were leaving that the owner and their family are incredibly unassuming yet influential figures. I'll leave it as a mystery; you'll have to guess yourselves when you visit! 😁"
