"This hotel is centrally located in Cairns, offering excellent access to cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, and the lagoon, all within a 20-minute walk! It was also relatively inexpensive compared to other options in Cairns. The room was clean, and the bathroom facilities were spotless. Regarding amenities, there's no toothbrush provided, so it's a good idea to bring your own. The hotel has a pool, so you can enjoy yourselves on-site. Plus, there's a service where you can skip daily housekeeping for extended stays and receive a 10A$ credit per night, which we used to get free breakfast! There are Japanese-speaking staff members, and everyone was incredibly lovely!"

"The room was very clean. I spent a long time looking for a hotel, and most of them seemed old and outdated. This one was newer, so I quickly chose it. I got a courtyard room with a small balcony, which was perfect for sitting and enjoying a beer – very relaxing. The front desk staff provided service in Chinese, which was a really thoughtful touch. They clearly marked the locations of the shopping mall, pharmacy, and night market, which was super helpful. The only way to get to the hotel is by taxi from the airport, but overall, I was very satisfied with the stay."

"The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the pier. They don't provide bottled water, and there's no facility to get drinkable water, so you'll need to buy your own from the supermarket. Drying clothes on the balcony is prohibited, so bring extra swimsuits or a portable drying device. The shower easily wets the bathroom floor."

"Enjoyed my stay for 5 days. Buffet was good, staffs are friendly and helpful. Some of the pepper mills bit rusty in buffet area.  Room service people works every day ie. cleaning, changing towels and bed making.  Bathroom flushing stopped working, fixed in no time. Taps are bit older version not easy to operate.  Instructions to use the Lift should be displayed in the lift using Room keys, some elderly people were struggling inside the lift as i entering into the lift.  No exhaust in bathroom, so every time fog on the mirror. If we have Shuttle service to the Airport could have been much better considering it’s only 5 to 7 minutes drive. There is a Hotel van standing in front of the hotel but it serves only to the night market.  Overall I will come back."

"The hotel isn't in the city center; it's located along the main road. Check-in was remote – they sent us a code for the main door and a safe containing our key. The rooms are a bit dated, and the cleanliness isn't top-notch, but overall it's okay. In the bathroom, the shower door was wobbly. Regarding breakfast, the hotel description states that vouchers are only for weekends, but in reality, they're available every day. Perhaps this is just for the winter period, I'm not sure. They provide AUD 20 per person for breakfast at a neighboring building. And let me tell you, that breakfast is divine! It's an à la carte menu, and we tried many things over three days, and everything was delicious. Of course, we paid extra, but it wasn't a huge amount. One day it was AUD 11, another day AUD 15, and for the one in the photo, AUD 24. Water is complimentary, coffee is AUD 6 – so you can definitely stay within budget if you skip the coffee. Also, behind the café building, there's a laundry service where you can wash and dry your clothes. It's AUD 6 per wash or dry. Nearby, there's a 'Night Owl' convenience store that was open when we arrived late, and a pizzeria next to it was also open, so you won't go hungry. The room really could have used a microwave. There was crockery, but we had to wash it in the bathroom sink, and no dish sponges were provided."

"Although the hotel has been open for a while, the rooms are well-maintained and don't look old or dated. It's only about a 5-minute walk to the Reef Fleet Terminal, which is really convenient for taking a cruise to the Great Barrier Reef – you can even sleep in a bit longer in the morning! Since breakfast wasn't included with the room, we added it for two days when we checked in. It was around $40-something per person. I have to say, the breakfast was pretty mediocre, both in terms of variety and taste. Even the tables and chairs weren't as well-kept as the rooms; the chair I sat on was wobbly. Overall, the hotel is pretty good. The location is convenient, and the rooms are comfortable. There's a decent Italian restaurant on the way to the terminal too."

"I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip. The reception staff were very kind and lent me towels and a hairdryer. It was also really fun sharing a room with people from various countries, not just tourists, but also those on working holidays looking for jobs. I was a little worried about bugs. Of course, there were small insects flying around outside, but the room and shower room were fine. It was a great trip! Thank you."

A big plus is the hotel pool, which has a sandy entrance on one side. However, the pool is shallow, so adults need to be careful not to scrape their feet on the rough bottom. Late check-out is available for an extra fee, which is very convenient if you're traveling with children and have a late flight. The airport is just 10 minutes away. Cairns Aquarium is nearby, and there's a large shopping center three blocks away. The promenade is two blocks away. Overall, it's good value for money, but don't expect perfect cleanliness or service."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with a wide variety of dining options right downstairs. Our family of three booked a suite, and they added a single bed in the living room, which was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast selection was also very rich and diverse, offering great value for money! A quick tip: there aren't as many hotels in Cairns as one might expect, and even during the off-season, this hotel's rooms can be scarce. It's best to book your entire stay at once, as trying to extend your reservation day-by-day might mean you won't find availability."
