Our actual experience exceeded our expectations based on the excellent reviews that we already read and received from friends! Really highly recommended to experience the real Sapa!
The space is spacious and comfortable, and the surrounding scenery is pleasant; the proprietress can speak some Mandarin. At dinner, there is an activity in the restaurant downstairs. She also danced bamboo rafts together. It was an unforgettable night!

There's a shared bathroom with bidet in some units, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers.

Wonderful wonderful experience, yummy breakfast, and kind people who worked there. The biggest expense for me during my stay was getting rides into town, but I liked having the option to stay outside if the busy area--so totally worth it to me. I'll definitely stay there again if I have the opportunity to visit Sapa again!
The staff are friendly and the location is behind Sun Plaza. Of course, expensive hotels are better, but if you consider the cost performance,

GGuest UserVery much satisfied staying at Bamboo Sapa Hotel!! From the arrival to checking out, it was so smooth. The front desk officers were very accommodating and friendly so as with the room boys , restaurant staff and swimming pool staff.. We arrived before the check-in time, so we left our luggage in their storage. We need to change clothes because the climate is freezing.
then they let us use the hotel's comfort room. When we are done with the activities in Sapa, we checked in our room and were happy for the room we have. The CR is supplied with super white and new bath towels , face towels , floor rug, tissue paper . The bathroom is equipped with hot and cold shower ( elegant) provided with body wash and shampoo.
The bedroom is super clean and tidy like the comfort room and bathroom. It has a dresser with mirror , lamp shades. It also has a cabinet for clothes and a hair dryer.
There are 2 swimming pools in Bamboo Sapa Hotel. One is the outdoor pool, ( but did not take a swim because it's too cold) and the other one is at the G level which is warm and a whirlpool. A cozy restaurant is for the buffet breakfast which is included in the booking. The array of delicious, nutritious and fancy food was served.
Electrical socket for charging is situated near the headboard. There were pairs of bedroom slippers and bath robes which were dainty white. So fresh-looking to wear! 2 bottles of mineral water ,cups and saucers and heater were also provided.. oh, if you want to call the front desk, a telephone is on the desk☺️❤️🥰
GGuest UserThe property itself is stunning—truly a museum-like experience with amazing food and a fantastic location. Unfortunately, the hospitality didn’t quite match the setting. The staff, from the front desk to the concierge and wait staff, often lacked the warmth and friendliness expected in the hospitality industry. It was unclear whether this stemmed from unfriendliness or simply a language barrier, which was surprising given that most hotels in the area employ fluent English speakers.
For a hotel belonging to such a prominent global chain, I expected a higher standard of staff training to ensure a consistently polished experience, much like their other locations. With better service, the experience could have been nearly flawless.
The food was exceptional, but the service at the bar and tearoom was notably slow. I suspect this was because the staff were also attending to restaurant orders.
One particularly disappointing moment occurred when our host at the restaurant seemed visibly annoyed when we ordered hotpot, requiring her to set up the electrical equipment. Additionally, another attendant continued to handle the hotpot and add food despite my request for him to stop.
While our room was lovely, it felt a bit unsettling to be quickly ushered into an upgraded room that happened to overlook a construction site. Although it was wonderful to enjoy the open doors and city view, being woken up by construction noise was far from ideal.
Lastly, the doormen stood out for the wrong reasons. They often appeared to be slacking off, which created an odd and unprofessional impression. It would be better to have no doormen at all than to have staff who do not fulfill their role properly.
Overall, while the hotel has incredible potential, a more attentive and professional approach to service would elevate the experience significantly.
RRechieOur stay at Sapa Centre Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The staffs were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The location was perfect for exploring the city.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting SaPa.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Tin Tin, Huong, and Selena for their exceptional hospitality throughout our stay.
A special shout-out to Selena for going above and beyond when we realized we had left our earphones in the hotel, already on the bus to Hanoi. We reached out via WhatsApp, and Selena arranged for the earphones to be sent to our next hotel in Hanoi through their limousine service. That level of thoughtful service truly made a difference, and we are so grateful for it!

LLuthfil Hadi Bin Muhammad AshrafI recently had the pleasure of staying at Sapa Yen Hotel and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and ensured that every detail of my stay was taken care of.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a perfect balance of modern comfort and charm. My room was spacious, spotless, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had no trouble getting a great night’s sleep. Best of all, it is a few meters away from Sapa Sun Plaza and we are greeted with a view with the railway track.
What truly stood out was the attention to detail – from the quality of the toiletries to the seamless check-in process. The hotel’s location was also fantastic, offering easy access to local attractions and dining options.
Overall, I highly recommend Sapa Yen Hotel to anyone visiting the area. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I look forward to returning in the future!
WWendyIt's a peaceful and beautiful place to stay, with a balcony overlooking the stunning rice terraces. The room is clean and cozy, offering a serene retreat. Breakfast is delicious and adds to the enjoyable experience. Although it’s located away from Sapa Town, getting there is quite convenient. Sleeper buses and limo vans only drop off in Sapa Town, but taxis and Grab are easy to find. We used Grab to travel around throughout our stay, and a ride to Eco Palm from Sapa Town costs around 200K VND one way and takes approximately 16 minutes.
HHazyzPros
- Smooth liaising with the hotel through WhatsApp/instagram & trip.com itself even before our trip, very responsive & helpful in answering our queries & concerns
- We arrived in Sapa early in the morning & appreciate that we're able to check in early
- The room was very clean & cozy
- Friendly receptionist that catered to our needs
- Excellent service with morning call & offer for bellboy service to carry our luggages up to the lobby when we had to check out much earlier
- Room cleanup service was quick but also unexpected, as we went for breakfast & came back to a cleaned room. It would be nice if laxsik had a door tag for us to indicate if we wanted 'room service' or not
- We had to check out quite early in the morning, laxsik offered to give us a complete set of takeaway breakfast with fruits, sandwiches & bottled water
Cons
- We stayed in the family bungalow with 2 bedrooms & bathrooms, there was no shower gel for one of the rooms & no conditioner for the other room, it would be great if both rooms had the same amenities
- Some tiles on the bathroom ceiling of house 10 were not intact completely hence it felt unsafe & cold air seeped in which turned the bathroom very chilly
Overall we had a pleasant stay at laxsik despite the view being blocked by the fog for most of our stay, the accommodations made up for it. Do take note that it is a 10-15mins drive to Sapa town so expect to pay 200,000 vnd for a taxi. The receptionist will help you book a driver if you aren't able to get a Grab from accommodations to town. Getting Grab from Sapa town to the accommodations was quite easy. The fireplace in the lodge is highly recommended if you are staying during the cold season! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and warmed our hearts and bodies.

The location of Lady Hill Sapa Resort is simply breathtaking. Nestled amidst the beautiful hills of Sapa, the resort offers stunning panoramic views that are nothing short of spectacular. It’s conveniently located near major attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
Cleanliness: 5/5 Excellent
The cleanliness of the resort was impeccable. The rooms were spotless, and the common areas were well-maintained. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job of ensuring everything was in perfect condition throughout our stay.
Service: 5/5 Excellent
The service at Lady Hill Sapa Resort was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Special mention to the concierge who provided excellent recommendations for local tours and dining options.
Facilities: 5/5 Excellent
The facilities at the resort were top-notch. The spa services were incredibly relaxing, and the swimming pool offered a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the lush gardens provided a serene environment for a leisurely stroll.
DDaisyBubblesA tip for the next traveller, email the hotel directly after booking to confirm your requests. I requested 2 single bed plus late check in on requests box but only emailed the late check in so we had 1 big bed instead. Also request that your room is away from the buffet corner-302, good thing we had 301 so we only hear a little of activity. Room was comfy and worth it for the price but don't have sufficient heater during our stay. If you're leaving the night before checkout do inform the desk before so they can pack you up some snacks.
The hotel is close to the center via first floor, a flight of stairs and couple of mins walk. Google maps only show the main entrance but not the shortcut.
VViolet YoongBeautiful hotel - service leaves room for improvement
We arrived early and let the hotel know about 10 days prior that we will be arriving at 4am.
I called the front desk who asked me to walk about 50m but wasn’t clear about the direction. After 30 mins he sent a buggy to pick us up.
A common theme is that some staff don’t communicate if they don’t know something or are unable to help. They just nod and it’s really difficult to discern whether they’re going to do anything or not. Just let me know you don’t know or can’t help - even in Vietnamese! At least I can translate it myself.
After 3 hours of waiting in the freezing lobby, Lala explained the process and gave us clarity on next steps. She was kind enough to upgrade as it was my birthday and it was slow season, which I appreciated.
Lala is a gem - she came by and everything was really smooth after that. She was cheerful and clear in her communication. She gave useful recommendations and she was clear in what she could and could not do. She was really great and we appreciated her help greatly.
Overall a good, clean hotel - a bit far from the town but that’s a good thing.
Facilities are good and plenty - you probably don’t even need to go to the town area.
Most of the staff except for a handful are quite difficult to interact with due to their refusal to give bad news or say they don’t know something.
PPhanuT^^TClean room, good location, although you may have to walk up a high road, it's not bad. Breakfast tastes good in some menus (fried rice is delicious. Delicious stir-fried cabbage) The view from the room is beautiful and worth staying. If there is a chance to travel again, will come back to stay at the same place. Lovely receptionist
