Sangzor Boutique Hotel
"Very comfortable hotel in a great location of Samarkand. Staffs are friendly and English is available. Breakfast is nice and in a very decorative space."
Kosh Havuz boutique hotel
"I arrived in Samarkand on a morning flight, so I reached the hotel around noon. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, allowing me to check in early. After two connecting flights and a sleepless night, I was exhausted, and their thoughtfulness in letting me rest early was truly comforting. The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk to the iconic square within minutes, and there are fantastic restaurants nearby. The room itself has a distinct local character, with carved headboards, windows, and wooden beams. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked with all necessary toiletries. There's also a heated spa on the rooftop – perfect for a romantic evening of stargazing while you relax. What truly stood out was the design and decor of the courtyard; it exudes a rich ethnic and cultural ambiance, with vibrant colors and intricate details, making it very photogenic. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the service staff were attentive and prompt. My first visit to Samarkand was an excellent experience, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip."
Siab Boutique Hotel
"The hotel manager was very kind to help me enjoy the Samarkant."
Wellness Park Hotel Bactria
"Our favorite hotel in all of Uzbekistan! The entire staff is the perfect blend of professionalism and hospitality. We really didn't want to leave! The food is outstanding! The breakfast buffet is perfect; you won't leave hungry, in fact, you'll probably gain a few pounds. 😄 The chef personally comes out to oversee the food, recommends what to try, and tells you about the dishes. The waitstaff (I can't even bring myself to call them that) seem genuinely happy to see you. There's pure delight at every turn! We initially stayed in a standard room, then moved to a suite. Only our pre-booked onward tickets forced us to check out. 😄 The suite has everything from bath salts to a coffee machine. There's a separate bathtub and shower, and a cozy living room. Overall, I highly recommend it."
AL MARYAM HoteL
"It's a small hotel with cozy rooms. The staff are friendly and accomodaring. Breakfast was also a good spread and delicious."
Mövenpick Samarkand
"Location makes it easy to walk to Registan Square, good breakfast and food at the hotel and other options are within 15min walk. Would book again."
MUSAVVIR
"Mind-blowing! The guesthouse is in a quiet area, but not far from the shops and restaurants. A true hidden gem! From the moment I stepped inside, I was absolutely charmed by the incredible collection of vintage items and antiques on display. It’s like stepping into a cozy, living museum. Despite the antique decor, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was spotless, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. He treated us with care and even prepared maps with highlighted sights to show us where the most interesting places were. If you want a stay with real character and soul rather than a standard, sterile hotel, this is the place to be!""
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand
"A true Hilton experience. The rooms are clean, convenient, and comfortable. The staff is polite. The elevators work perfectly. The breakfasts are a bit meager, which is unusual for this hotel chain. For fruits, they only had apples, bananas, sliced oranges, and kiwi. Despite it being berry season, there were no berries at breakfast. Downstairs, there's a spa center with a pool and sauna. Bathrobes and towels are readily available at the spa. In the morning, they found us at breakfast and wished my husband a happy birthday, even treating him to a delicious cheesecake. The only upside for me, and a downside for my husband, is that the hotel doesn't serve any alcohol at all. But there's an alcohol store not far away, so the celebration was still a success."
Gur Emir Palace
"A very beautiful place. The hotel is located in the city center. The breakfast is delicious and has everything you need. The rooms are comfortable, as are the beds, with a good mattress. The interior is designed in Samarkand style. The veranda offers a view of the city."

ZAAL Hotel
"Pros: - Cozy courtyard and the building itself are attractive. Cons: - They didn't change the bed linens every time, didn't bring extra towels, toothbrushes, and gels. Overall, the cleanliness was really lacking; it was obvious they were just pretending to look clean. - The power went out regularly, including the air conditioning and internet. - The bathroom was very small, literally impossible to move around in. Price-wise, it's acceptable, but if you're looking for service and cleanliness, this isn't the option."
Siab Hotel
"Aside from the air conditioning and heating being only so-so, it's pretty good overall."
Marokand Spa Hotel
"Exceptional as always."
The Afrosiyob Hotel
"The best place in Samarkand very clean excellent service and we walked to everywhere. We couldn’t have picked up a better place to stay"
"S E A S O N S"
"Very clean and spacious room. Large functional bathroom. Very kind host. Would stay again if in Samarkand."
Hilton Samarkand Regency
"It was amazing, the room is big and clean, the toilet is clean and well maintained and the breakfast is top notch"
Kohinur Plaza
"We stayed at the hotel for two nights and enjoyed the service at reception and breakfast—everyone was very friendly. The hotel itself is very cozy and beautiful! The courtyard is lovely, and you can see the Bibi-Khanym Mosque from your garden-view room. The location is great, close to Registan Square. The breakfast selection was a bit disappointing; it was quite limited (compared to a 3-star hotel in Tashkent, where you'd be spoiled for choice), but you certainly won't go hungry."
Kok Saroy Plaza hotel
"Everything was great – the location is central, and it's convenient to walk from the hotel. Breakfast was decent, and they managed to serve all four of us even though the hotel was fully booked."
Classic hotel Samarkand
"Very nice new hotel, very friendly and helpful staff"
Khan Hotel Samarkand
"This is a good hotel with an excellent location, within walking distance of Samarkand's main attractions. The area is quiet and peaceful, and there are many international tourists among the guests, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff deserves special thanks: always welcoming, attentive, and ready to help. On the downside, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, and the breakfasts seemed quite modest. Otherwise, I was satisfied with my stay. It's a great option for exploring historical Samarkand and walking around the old city."
Altair Boutique
"The hotel is beautiful, with spacious rooms and generous common areas, all thoughtfully designed and decorated with great attention to detail. What really sets this place apart is the staff. From the warm welcome at reception to the lady taking care of breakfast each morning, everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. The team consistently goes the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable and well looked after. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is excellent, and the overall experience reflects a real commitment to hospitality. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."
Hotel Dali Samarkand
"The staff is very good, especially Shakhriyor is very helpful guy. The rooms are very clean."
Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand Afrosiyob
"It bit far from the main sights of Samarkand but a nice quiet hotel with all the amenities and service expected for a Hilton. Reception was polite and offered a voucher to use for checking in later. A bit smelly near the toilet at check in but overall good value and happy with the place."
Hotel Old City Samarkand
"Great hotel close to the old town. The people there were really nice and helpful."
Shohjahon Palace Hotel & Spa
"Very convenient close to Registan. Delicious breakfast."
