Samarkand Hotels with Pools

This is a good hotel with an excellent location, within walking distance of Samarkand's main attractions. The area is quiet and peaceful, and there are many international tourists among the guests, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff deserves special thanks: always welcoming, attentive, and ready to help. On the downside, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, and the breakfasts seemed quite modest. Otherwise, I was satisfied with my stay. It's a great option for exploring historical Samarkand and walking around the old city.

The hotel environment was quite good, and breakfast was excellent. However, I'm not sure what to make of the staff. They seem patient when you talk to them, but they handle issues very superficially. For example, when I asked to change rooms due to noise, they immediately said the hotel was fully booked with no rooms available. But once I presented them with facts, they promptly found a room. Many things are like this: as soon as you raise a concern, they'll reject you without a second thought.

Residing in the hotel 2 nights, enjoyed the service on the recipes and breakfast, all very kind) the hotel itself is very cozy and beautiful! The interior courtyard is very nice, from the room with the view on the garden you can see the Bibi-Khanum Mosque) Location is good, Near Registant Square) a little did not meet expectations of a range of food on breakfast, it was quite humble (compared to hotel 3* in Tashkent, there were eyes running), but hungry , of course not staying)

This hotel had wonderful staff service. The staff were all young, and I felt they communicated well with each other. When I asked the front desk about not being able to charge my smartphone because the power outlets didn't fit, they kindly lent me a charger that seemed to belong to another staff member. Also, when I asked if I could buy bottled water when I left my luggage before check-in, they gave me the hotel's water for free. In an unfamiliar place, the time I spent at the hotel was the only time I could truly relax. I would like to return to Samarkand. When I do, I would like to stay at this hotel again. There is another hotel with the same name located about 1km away, and Yandex shows that one.

This is a good hotel. We stayed at the Hilton before this, and this hotel is no different in terms of quality. It's clean, and the housekeeping is daily, with excellent staff. The downside (we stayed in March 2026) is that there's absolutely nothing nearby. The fountains weren't working, and neither were the water park, amusement park, or shopping center! In the summer, during peak season, it would probably be wonderful here! But not at any other time of year!

This is one of the best hotels we've experienced with Hilton, having stayed at many over several years. There's really no need to mention the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and common areas, as it's a 5-star hotel and everything is top-notch. However, I'd like to specifically highlight the infrastructure: a wonderful outdoor pool with plenty of sun loungers, and an excellent spa complex with an indoor pool, sauna, and steam room. It's a shame that the operating hours for these great facilities are limited; I would have loved to swim in the evening after visiting all the sights. I also want to mention the stunning views from the rooms, as well as the hotel's location in general: the Silk Road district, with views of either the park or the rowing canal – it's unforgettable! The breakfast was delicious and varied, with top-quality ingredients, featuring both local specialties and European/American options (porridges, vegetables/fruits/yogurts, muesli/eggs/beef bacon/sausages - my compliments!, excellent samsa, tomatoes…). I also enjoyed the lobby bar – great local draft beer and a magnificent mojito! I highly recommend sitting there in the evening with a drink and a view of the rowing canal. All the staff are very professional and welcoming. Incidentally, they didn't forget my wife's birthday: they congratulated her, which was heartfelt and very pleasant – the cake was delicious, thank you! Overall, this is one of the best places for discerning travelers, I highly recommend it!

Shahjahon Hotel is located in a very unassuming neighborhood, tucked among local houses and small shops. But once you step through its gates, you’re welcomed by a magnificent, quintessentially Uzbek façade, charming! Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy after a long day of exploring. We were treated to a typical Uzbek breakfast, generous and nourishing. The hotel is just a short walk from Registan Square and the main historical attractions, making it very convenient. A lovely and comfortable base for exploring Samarkand.

Hotel location is not bad, about 10 minutes walk from Reggiestan Square and Guernemir Tomb. The hotel is old and the facilities are old, but it is not delayed. The hotel did not take the initiative to provide drinking water and hair dryers. If you don't want to go to the front desk, you will give it, but I think it is better to take the initiative. Hotel breakfast is OK, in addition to fried eggs and sausages, the other is basically cold meals. Reminder! Don't go to the shoxjahon opposite the hotel to eat! This restaurant is not delicious, and there is a 15% service fee, but there is no service! It was outrageous that my bank card was deducted successfully after swiping the card payment, and the hotel said the transaction was cancelled and insisted on letting me pay again, so I paid 180 RMB for a bad meal!

Always my choice when I’m in Samarkand. The hotel owner was very kind to upgrade my room during my stay. Strategic location to many historical places, shops and restaurants. Overall the room was spacious, comfortable and clean.
