The hotel is a bit old, the room facilities and decoration are a bit unable to keep up, need to be renovated, but the location of the hotel is good, behind the beach view is good, you can try it
Overall one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Side note; I live in the UAE, where 5 stars hotel are really common.
The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, the beds super comfy and the washrooms are every woman's dream (lightning, mirrors and amouage amenities).
Staff is super attentive, accommodating and naturally friendly. They actually love what they do and we as guests can feel it's authenticity - which makes everything dining experience really special. The food was beyond delicious and the variety in the buffet made it hard to choose and even harder to not overeat.
Congratulations to the management and leadership of the hotel team - you truly do an amazing job.
I will definitely be back!
During our stay we had the area almost to ourselves, which we really liked. Due to the low occupancy, we were treated individually for breakfast (without a buffet) and our every wish was taken into account. The kitchen manager was open and friendly and we had many interesting conversations with him about the country and its people. The staff is super friendly and helpful (when we were walking to the nearest supermarket, we met the hotel manager, who gave us a lift in his car and brought us back). The rooms are large, air-conditioned, well-equipped and two bottles of water were provided in the room every day, which we particularly appreciated upon our arrival. Here and there the wallpaper is peeling away from the wall and the door frame in the bathroom also made a very special impression - although we found these “defects” rather charming. Plus, the bed was a dream! Great mattress, a double bed throughout and not too soft - we've never slept so well anywhere! Sure, you're a little out of the way, but since we were only there six nights and took three arranged excursions, that wasn't a problem for us. The supermarket can be reached on foot, the Hilton (if you want to drink something alcoholic - our hotel didn't serve alcohol - or need a little something from the shop) via a relaxed walk on the beach. However, there is also a bus stop directly at the hotel or you can quickly order a cheap taxi using the otaxi app. The proximity to the water was our highlight, getting up in the morning, walking a hundred meters through the sand and straight into the Pacific, which was a perfect temperature for swimming - a dream! The complex is large and nicely designed, my husband also had a lot of fun with the pool, we could see the sea from the room... we would probably choose the Samharam again.

I booked the Junior Suite and absolutely loved the room! The hotel is located right on Dahariz Beach and being able to watch the sunrises and sunsets on the Arabian Gulf on a quiet beach amplifies the enjoyment of the hotel (watching the full moon rise over the Arabian Gulf, feeling safe while walking the beach at night and being able to watch the sun rise and moon set is evocatively beautiful and forever has etched Salalah in my travel memories). The section of Salalah the hotel is located in is relatively quiet (the locals tend to come out after the heat of the day has abated and are wonderfully polite) The staff of Dolphin restaurant is so kind and the prices for food (which can be pricey in hotels) is beyond reasonable and delicious. The hotel staff with their legendary Omani hospitality makes Beach Resort Salalah a hotel with heart and a paradise on earth!
A quite old hotel. Renovation is needed for furniture and decoration.
Choice for breakfast was unfortunately poor
Be ready to be charged for brewed coffee on breakfast
At the same time staff was friendly and always involved. One example is when painkiller was brought to me by Umed in the middle of the night. I do appreciate so much such attitude 🧡
The breakfast is very good. If you are a family of three, you don't need an extra bed. Because there is a sofa bed in the room, you can sleep! It is especially suitable for bringing children. The hotel is located at the seaside and belongs to the series of seaside resorts, with a large parking lot. The hotel’s swimming pool is very nice and very user-friendly. Love this hotel!
The hotel is well located, mosque was a 8 minutes walk away from the mosque, market and local attractions are close by as well as many restaurants nearby. In my opinion the hotel needs a refurb but is clean and tidy. The air con was a little noisy. The rooms were huge and had decent bathrooms. Little pricey but OK. When we arrived the staff were brilliant in helping us find our way around and offered great advise on where to go and places of interest. Breakfast was interesting which was mainly catered for the Indian palate. Overall, OK hotel.

Perfect
SSafwaanVery nice hotel in ideal location. It is on the Mwasalat airport bus route. You can easily see the building from outside and there is a mosque almost opposite two minutes walk. There is a restaurant next door selling reasonable price food and bakery items.
For Asian food, English tea or burgers and chips there is a very nice coffee shop if you take two rights out of the hotel. Grocery shops are within walking distance as is the Sultan Qaboos mosque. In fact if you like walking like me then it's easy to visit the beach, hafa souq, fruit market,
The hotel has a nice exterior, fresh coffee in the lobby and a nice frankincense fragrance. The receptionists are polite and friendly, as are the cleaning staff. The hotel is clean and there is a laundry service too. There is disabled access outside and a lift for ease of daily use for everyone.
The room was clean with bathroom and free soap and tissue paper. There was a fridge in the room and tv. Most of the rooms have windows. Mine didn't but the manager offered to swap it. I stayed as it was good for sleep and it has a mini window for light. Anyway I cannot complain as the manager was so helpful.
The bed was just right for me and the linen was fresh( I didn't take a photo as my photos was all taken last minute)
It was nice and clean overall and the pace of Salalah is just right for me and plenty of walking opportunities. Many Arab people stay here too. It is one of the better hotels due to the bus route and the location. I am glad I found it on this app. The price was good too
Very good place , nice atmosphere 😃 Good staffs , welcoming with omani traditional coffee with dates , there is Jim to workout there is no entry fees it's free , if you have any meetings or any business work they will give meeting room free , They will provide tour guide , inside the hotel taxi and bus facility have , Totally Worthy, Well hygiene rooms , service 24 hours Near salalah International airport Near to Lulu hypermarket and gardens mall , And many more place to visit near. 🙏👍 Thank you for your best service
MMaria VeronikaI spent 5 nights at the hotel and really enjoyed it a lot. I deducted a bit for the location since one will only be able to get to the beach using a taxi or car. Bit then again, it is located in a really nice mall and you have all you might possibly need close by.
I enjoyed going on a tour to visit some of the Wadis together with Achmed, who really took all the time to satisfy my thirst for knowledge.
And I really did enjoy the pool time, with really great service by the team!
Really it's wonderful place me and my family enjoyed staying in this hotel the general manger Mr Kahled maz is amazing with his way how to managing with very polite and positive way with the customer and also his team like Mr Mubarak Mr Ahmed and Mr Arif and also maintains and cleaners
NNuts14The room facilities are very good, the swimming pool is also nice, the only drawback is that it is a bit far from the city. Of course, there is really nothing in the city of Salalah, so it doesn't matter.
LLisaodaddThe hotel has a good environment. It has its own beach and swimming pool. The rooms are quite large and new. The service is not bad. It is a resort-like place with food and drinks. You can take a taxi or drive yourself after leaving the hotel, otherwise there is no transportation to the city!
GGuest UserFirst of all, give affirmation, the service is very good, the room is quite large and the facilities are complete. The only downside is that there are no people in the city, so it looks rather bleak and there is a big supermarket nearby. It’s a good choice to find a quiet place.
SSafwaanNice hotel within vicinity of several food establishments including next door and has mosques nearby. It is on the bus route. The famous Sultan mosque is in walking distance.
It is a nice and calm hotel and no noise from fellow guests. I went in November and stayed one week
Lift has ramp for luggage and lifts. It is a calm place. Room is nice and clean with furniture. Bathroom is also nice and clean. Complementary toiletries. Staff are very polite and also arranged for some frankincense for my room. I have never used it before so that was really nice of them
GGuest UserGenerally, the hotel is within reach to the groceries, bake shops, restaurants and other necessary things. However, I would just like to add about the hotel services and should have the following things that a traveler wouldn’t asked for as it has to be basic things for anyone of us staying in a hotel. - [ ] Thermostat or hot water pitcher - [ ] Mug cup - [ ] Complimentary coffee, sugar or tea - [ ] Hair conditioner - [ ] Hair dryer - [ ] Complimentary water bottle - [ ] Small lotion - [ ] Pen and pad paper As a regular traveler I have compared and learned how a hotel would provide the outmost privacy for their customer, as such I would to comment on two things: there was no door sign hanger and most importantly the door doesn’t have a peephole to see whos outside the door “knocking” I would say it’s kinda old fashioned or not just yet implemented for betterment. Finally, as we were going out to explore the area and we asked the reception for helping us to book a taxi, unexpectedly he didn’t exert extra effort for calling the contact number for the taxi company. He must’ve used the landline phone instead of letting us wait for the Taxi apps to work ( apps didn’t work ) so we can proceed for booking a taxi .. so we just went outside the hotel and took a taxi by our own.. I hope that they’ll provide the following things to continue improve their services to their customer in the future and provide additional help for anyone staying at the hotel.
