Excellent
GGuest UserDrury Inn was fantastic! When I booked the room, I thought that this place was going to be the “same old” hotel that I normal book because the price was on par with every other hotel in the area. I was shocked while checking in, the front desk woman, Amanda, handed us our room key cards and two other cards. The secondary cards that were handed to us were for “kick back” hour. Kick back starts at 5:30pm where you can get three free adult beverages along with enough snack food to make a meal of. I thought that was very ingenious and I will be back! But, the breakfast was outstanding as well. My wife and I realized that we saved hundreds on meals because of the service. Also, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the room was great too. Drury Inn will be the only place I choose for lodging in Frankenmuth, Michigan ever again!
GGuest UserMy husband and I take an annual trip.to Frankenmuth, Mich around Christmas time each year. We usually spend a fortune to stay in the town of Frankenmuth. We decided to stay outside of Frankenmuth and found the Springhill Suites in Saginaw, MI, about 20 min. from our destination.
We were so pleasantly surprised by tbe accommodations. The suite was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The staff was so helpful and friendly - even after locking ourselves out of our room twice. They were attentive and even offered restraunt suggestions. Tbe breakfast offered a great selection - sausage, rggs, waffles, juice, cereal, pastries etc. In addition, the hotel overall abd lobby was clean and very pretty.
The only issue, which is minimal, was the pool size. It was a bit small. However, the hot tub was large and very relaxing.
The price we paid for a 2 night stay in a beautiful suite at the Springhill Suites in Saginaw would not have covered one night in a standard hotel room in the town of Frankenmuth.
I will look for this particular hotel during our future travels. They did everything right.
RReadI won't stay here again. The couch is ridiculous as to sit in it your feet are hanging off the end a foot from the floor. Very uncomfortable. The chair at the desk is uncomfortable too. You're positioned where you're leaning forward all the time. Those were minor annoyances compared to being teased with a fantastic choice of streaming movie stations and then find out the movies you want to watch are $20 dollars. On top of that their internet connection is terrible and after 15 minutes the movie your streaming cuts off and you get a message to try again later. Seemed everything I tried to do online was a hit and miss effort. Constantly cutting in and out. I'd rather have no internet than service like that.
SStepuntikGood: Friendly welcoming staff. Very clean room. Cozy. Good hot shower. Location within numerous good restaurants.
Breakfast + : nice waffles, yogurt, bananas, muffins, orange juice.
Not good: swimming pool was not operational, very sad! (and it was not mentioned on booking platforms).
Breakfast - : cold eggs, terrible sausage, no vegetables, other kinds of juice than orange.
If the swimming pool worked and breakfast didn't have those negative things I mentioned, the place would've been perfect.
BBarb MorrisThis is a very nice place to stay, easy to find, clue to everything like shopping, food and fun. This place also has an indoor pool and hot tub, basketball court, outside area to grill and a pool take inside.
TTai HongFirst time to stay at this hotel for my delivery run to Michigan, hotel room is super nice and bedding is very comfortable. Location is right off freeway and two chain restaurant diners are walking distance so can't complain about location, only drawback is the wifi was down and they don't include breakfast.
GGuest UserThe hotel's service staff is very patient, and the grandfather who picks up the service is also very nice. Send us to the test center every day, get hot in advance, and we are all warm.
GGuest UserFor 190 dollars this was by far the worst room I've ever stayed in. From molding coming off the front door to rips in the couch to the bathroom sink not draining properly to many other issues. Definitely not somewhere I'll ever stay again.
TTara BlankThe main hotel is nice the rooms behind the hotel are old and not updated at all mattress was old uncomfortable and sheets were paper thin so get a room in the main building of the hotel unless you stay one night
