"The first arranged room in 311, the toilet seat cover is broken. And the next room was a dog kept barking. The reception staff rearranged another room for us shortly, their attitude is really good. But the room rearranged to 223 is in the basement, the air circulation is really not good, you can smell the strong pet smell in the hallway. And I can see the 3rd floor lift lobby had dog poo. To be honest, they were doing a dog exhibition, but they are not really well organized to avoid all the inconveniences caused. That’s not really fair to the customers who don’t expect those scenarios."
"All in all, it reminds me of the motels on America. Only thing missing was a pool. The young man behind the bar was so friendly and helpful. Yeah would go back.."

"They was very good when I ask for extra milk as I found you need 2 in a cup and they left me a lot plus the room was tidy and the staff seemed very pleasant "
"Really lovely reception area, staff were great during book in, very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, spacious and warm. Just what we wanted for our one night stay. Didn't visit the bar or restaurant as was with my 12 year old Son but the menu looked excellent and the bar area looked pleasant. Plenty of nice flat car parking spaces. Would definitely visit again!"
"There needs to be more food choice. Maintence IE change or repairs to doors or radiators should not be carried whilst guests are relaxing, working or having a late sleep in. On 2 occasions maintence staff worked for several hours ruining my stay. Very very noisey."
"Quirky but in a good way. The receptionist correctly confirmed that my booking was for a standard double room, so when I opened the door I was amazed to find a huge room with two double beds and a single and enough empty floor space for another three doubles. My amazement continued when I walked into the bathroom (again huge) with two large spa baths (I later tried one - very relaxing). The site has a lot of history having been a country house, home of a German princess, Jesuit retreat and an RAF leadership school. Set in several acres of grounds which also made for a pleasant walk after an enjoyable dinner. I’ve sometimes paid more for a Premier Inn or Travelodge."
"Great service by reception staff, bar staff less accommodation, food n drinks overpriced.
But enjoyed our stay. Next time more use of bring yer own n eat out.
Buffet breakfast super, waffles my hi light"
