Colosseo
I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this one is my duty. I booked this ”hotel” because of its location: very close to the Colosseum and the metro station. And here we are. They send me a thousand emails to do a pre check-in, I do it, and they ask me the arrival time: 10:15. I even arrive later and the room isn't ready until 2pm. Oh well, patience. Then I am told that I have to leave a deposit of €100 for damages. I understand it and I don't dispute it, but in any case it wasn't told to me in advance and I'm not happy about it. When it's finally 2pm I go to get the key, and I discover that the apartment is in another building, in the next street. Here too, I'm not complaining and I'm going. Arriving there, there is a wooden door on the first floor with what seems to be a collection of soundproof apartments, I could even hear the breathing of those next to me, some 3 or 4 groups. I enter and the horror show begins, cleanliness is simply NON-EXISTENT. There was hair stuck to the bathroom wall, mold everywhere, a blood stain on the bed where my mother slept, everything was dirty. The fridge didn't work. In short, a nightmare. To avoid ruining my holiday, I didn't complain and left, but completely dissatisfied. To be correct, there are some positive notes: the hairdryer works very well, which is almost rare in hotels, the coffee pods are left available. But I won't point this out to anyone, it's not remotely equivalent to the price paid. It was the last stop on a 1 week tour of all of Italy and for less than what we paid here we were much better off in both Milan and Florence.

Via Veneto
It is a long way from Termini train station, 1.2 km on foot, it is difficult to walk on the small stone road with a suitcase, especially in the 35 degree hot weather. The hotel only gave a bottle of water on the first day, and no more in the future. If you need it, you can get it from the minibar, which costs 15 euros per bottle. The room is not exactly the same as the picture, it can only be said that it has nothing to do with it. This period is the peak season, and all hotels are expensive. You should think carefully before booking.

The rooms are clean and compact but when out exploring the sites of Rome all is required is a comfy bed. The room met all needs. Would have liked a chair in the room but was happy with it. Very helpful staff. They recommended an excellent restaurant which is definitely worth going to. Good food and staff are brilliant. Very nice hotel and location couldn't be better. Breakfast is in a cafe up the street. Another fantastic little gem on Rome. The staff organised a surprise on arrival for my hubbie birthday. Extremely helpful and great to work with.

Termini Central Station
I booked this room for the last two nights of my trip mainly due to it's proximity to Termini. The room was small, clean, and relatively quiet. The check-in staff was friendly, but when I asked one of the housekeepers for an additional bath towel, as there was only one supplied, she gave it to me but seemed rather annoyed that I wanted another. It was when I took a shower the first night that I found that the water pressure was essentially a trickle and I was barely able to wet my hair. I'm not some big budget traveler, used to huge amenities, and I've dealt with the occasional low water pressure before in the hotels that are in my budget, but this was beyond compare. If I had more than a single additional night booked, I would have asked for another room or found another hotel. The included breakfast was a croissant and juice/coffee brought to the room. Aside from it's location, I don't feel it was worth the value. Based simply on the water pressure issue, I would not recommend it unless it is essential to be within a stone's throw of Termini.
