Romantic Hotels in Naples

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

The hotel is located high above Naples. Although it is not near the old town in the center of the city, it is quiet. The view is beautiful. The bed in the room is very comfortable. The hotel is modern and the lights are all touch-screen. The breakfast is very rich and the view is first-class. It's just that every time I take a taxi, the taxi driver doesn't charge according to the meter, which is a bit unbearable.

Service: Picking up and dropping off luggage, parking the car on behalf of others is very good Facilities: There are not many underground parking spaces and the price is 50€/day. Environment: The scenery at the SKY bar on the rooftop is unparalleled, right in front of the castle, with a panoramic view of the surrounding sea!

The hotel was everything we wanted, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We felt very safe with all of the necessary covid precautions been taken. The room was very modern and the balcony was the best part. The view was incredible and we sat out every night to watch the city and the many different firework s display. Would definitely recommend and hope to return some day!

I could not recommend Agra Suites highly enough. Biagio provided the best service i have ever received. Everything i needed was provided and more. The location is perfect and tbe room is beautiful. If i ever come to Naples again, i will 100% be staying here!!!!!

The real scene of the hotel is much better than the photo, the environment is elegant and pleasant, and the restaurant's sunshine is beautiful. The picture sent has breakfast and dinner, which is very good. And very close to Naples Airport, the hotel staff also helped to book a taxi to the airport for 10 minutes for 20 euros. When I arrived at the scene, I set a standard room with two beds. I brought me a negative floor. The sun was not so good, and it was a family room with three beds. The staff said that the first floor and the first floor were the same room type, but all were full. But there is a room on the second floor, the scenery is better, you can overlook the scenery of Naples, and you have to add 60 euros. Finally, I added 60 euros for the better environment, but I always doubt it. Fortunately, the service and environment are great, the hotel has a big iron gate and the hospital feels very safe!

Everything about our stay was easy and in many cases, better than we expected. The breakfast staff were so accommodating and the roof terrace needs to be spoken about more.... it's beautiful! The reception staff were also excellent and no request was too much for them. The room and hotel in general were very clean and the room we had was nice, clean and spacious. If we had to be picky about one thing, we'd have liked the towels to be changed more regularly. But that didn't cause us any issues. We'd love to return again!

The hotel is located on the seaside. It is a good and safe area, and it is close to the main attractions. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. In addition, the room is very clean and well decorated. It is not very big but very exquisite. The breakfast is average, but you can eat enough. The front desk service is also good.

The sound insulation is very poor, the location is in a remote point, but not far from the train station, walking is also convenient. There is access control in the middle of the night, and the security can be. The overall recommendation is average. Service attitude is very good.
