"I think this is the best accommodation in Naples! It's a new hotel-hostel, very stylish and beautiful. We even got a welcome drink. The room was cozy with a view. The common areas are really cool, with a gym, billiards, and a cinema. The hotel even has its own app where you can manage and book activities. The staff at the front desk are always helpful and ready to assist. It's conveniently located right next to the train station, just a 5-minute walk. It's also a quick 15-minute taxi ride to the airport. I definitely recommend it!"

"Good hotel for 2 nights in Naples. The location is close to Napoli Centrale train station and close to some of the main shops and restaurants. However, the location outside the hotel is dirty and loud, with litter and rubbish all over the street. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I felt looked after. The room itself is basic but perfectly fine for a few nights. The bed was comfy, however more pillows were needed! The shower is powerful but it takes a minute to warm up. For the price I paid, I was happy with the facilities and service."

"The location is fantastic since it is only a three minutes walk from the main central station. Although outside of the hotel is a bit sketchy, the hotel inside is clean, comfortable, and safe. The staff were quite helpful and cordial."

"It's very close to the hotel from Naples, but the environment along the way is really not good. I can't imagine that this is Italy. Southern Italy is really hard to describe. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and introduced the local attractions. The room was average. The road outside and the exterior wall of the hotel were under renovation. The noise was from early in the morning to the afternoon. The main problem was that the sewer in the bathroom was very smelly."

"The room design is very beautiful, especially the windows and balcony. It is close to the train station, which is convenient for travel, but the surrounding environment is relatively dirty and messy. The breakfast is delicious."

"The location couldn't be better, directly opposite the train station entrance. It felt very safe too, with police and patrol cars consistently present downstairs. Getting to Pompeii by metro, bus, or train was incredibly easy from here. It has the charm of an older, established hotel, offering excellent value for money. We were within easy walking distance of famous spots for Neapolitan and fried pizzas. Our room was a decent size and even included a small balcony. A minor point was that staff would sometimes enter the room even when cleaning wasn't requested. Breakfast was a letdown for me due to the constant presence of small flying insects."

"We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. "The room was spacious and the night bed was prepared thoughtfully. The location was very convenient, right outside the train station, and you could leave your luggage here and move around! You need to get a password to enter the apartment, and there are three houses inside. The upstairs before entering the apartment was not very clean, the building was too old and in disrepair, and a bit dirty. Maybe the buildings in Naples are not very clean? The bathroom facilities are complete, but the wind is a bit weak. The bedding is not a quilt but a thick blanket, which surprised me but I didn't feel cold."
