The rooms are compact, with simple yet practical furniture, bright lighting, and strong shower pressure. However, the hotel lobby is on a mezzanine level, requiring guests to use stairs, which can be inconvenient for those with large luggage. The room's internet was not working, and despite reporting it, it wasn't fixed during our two-day stay. Additionally, there were oversights in room cleaning and facility maintenance checks."

The front desk staff are welcoming and polite, and there are security personnel on hand to assist with luggage. Check-in was efficient, and any issues were promptly resolved. A delightful bonus was the complimentary museum tickets included with the stay. The rooftop 'Air Garden' offers expansive views, perfect for admiring the panoramic old city, especially beautiful at night – every photo you take will be stunning. The hotel environment is quiet, and it offers great value for money. This hotel is a perfect choice for anyone visiting Kashgar; it makes getting around effortless and provides a fantastic experience. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit."

"The hotel is located on an unremarkable roadside, but stepping into the room was a pleasant surprise. The decor was full of ethnic character, making my friends and I joke that we felt like princesses in Xinjiang! The facilities were all new and well-equipped. They even upgraded us to a family room for free, which had two separate wet and dry bathrooms – very convenient. The front desk staff were always responsive to our requests, and the overall service was excellent. It's only about a 15-minute walk to the West District of Kashgar Old City. I'll definitely consider staying here first on my next visit to Kashgar."

"Well, I was awoken at 10:15pm by the staff to confirm I was present in my room and gifted two waters and some fruit. I was then awoken again at 11:30pm by the staff and security at my door informing that the local authorities were in the lobby and would like to speak with me. I come to find out from the officers that the hotel had failed to input my name correctly into the local database based on my foreign passport. After a brief conversation, I was able to go back to bed for the 3rd time that evening at midnight. The next day I was plagued with a headache. The view was forgettable and the Japanese toilet smelled strange, but the shower was magnificent."

"The room was absolutely gorgeous, with a refreshing color scheme and exquisite furnishings. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the courtyard was beautiful. Staying there felt incredibly wonderful; every day was sunny and bright. The western area wasn't too noisy, and there weren't many people around at midday or in the morning, so I could stroll around at my leisure. The guesthouse's cafe across the street was also very comfortable, and the second floor was quiet with a great view. The guesthouse manager was incredibly kind and helpful 🥰. On my first day, she even helped me with my luggage when I stayed upstairs. Then, on the second day, when I went to have a photoshoot and mentioned having menstrual cramps, she specially went to get me painkillers. This very attentive, meticulous, and kind lady further enhanced my positive impression of the guesthouse. The excellent staff and the wonderful guesthouse made my long journey much more comfortable. I also want to commend the guesthouse for thoughtfully providing earplugs."

"Kashgar James, warm choice for living On June 3, we ended our visit to Taxian County. In the afternoon, we arrived in Kashgar and stayed at the James Joyce Coffetel (Kashgar Ancient City International Center). This self-driving tour, the second time with James Joyce. The hotel security guard is handsome, with a straight posture and a warm eyes. Every time he parked and traveled, he took the initiative to come forward, patiently guide, help carry the luggage, that intimate move, like a warm sun to disperse the fatigue of the journey. The beautiful Sari Guli at the front desk has a sweet smile and a soft voice. When checking in, she was meticulous and thoughtful, and also asked about the needs intimately, which made people feel kind, as if returning home and being cared for by the family. This hotel, with sincere service, highlights the quality in the details, so that although our two old people are in a foreign country, they can enjoy the warmth of home. If there is still a chance to step on this land in Kashgar in the future, James Joyce Coffetel is definitely our best choice. Here, we solemnly give a five-star praise and look forward to meeting James Joyce again!"
