"Very nice apartment, two-storey cottage, convenient parking, fully equipped kitchenware, good location, just a few minutes walk to the beach, only ten minutes by car to the nearby graffiti, and ten minutes to the supermarket."
"The Sea Breeze Cottage is independent of the campsite, without any access control, and is relatively old. For a room rate of 1500+, it can only be considered as a one-night stay. You should have a psychological expectation when booking a room. The location is really good, close to the graffiti rock."
"Floor felt sandy like it had not been vacuumed/swept throughly after the last guests. The dishrack was rusty so we didn't want to use it. The non-stick pot provided to cook was clearly scratched, which means it becomes toxic to use. The green scourer provided to wash the dishes with was quite hard to use and can also be abrasive and scratch the non-stick coating on pots and pans.
Other than those minor things, the standard cabin was spacious and the triple bunk bed seems fun if you have kids."
"Great Stay with Beautiful River Views
I recently stayed at Rydges Port Macquarie and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect—right on the waterfront, with stunning views of the Hastings River and easy access to restaurants, shops, and the beach.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a private balcony to enjoy the scenery. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free.
The hotel’s pool and outdoor area were great for relaxing, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals, especially the breakfast. Parking was convenient, although it comes at an extra cost.
Overall, Rydges Port Macquarie is an excellent choice for a comfortable and scenic stay in the heart of town. I’d definitely stay here again!"
"I booked a 1 bedroom apartment and was quite happy with the place. Apartment was spacious and equipped with basic necessities for our 2 nights stays.
Location is not central to the town area. Though the town area is only a 5minutes drive away. Dedicated parking bay provided, so no dramas with the parking.
Receptionist was friendly and helpful."
"On one side of the road is the hotel, on the other side is the sea, the view is good, but the house and facilities are still a bit old. There is no air conditioner in the bedroom, it is a fan, but the height of the floor is not high. I am one meter and seventy-six. I took off my shirt and applied for it. I was hit by the fan blade and I was in danger!"
"It's pretty good. The only drawback is that the massage spa bath room is on the first floor. It would be better if it could be on a higher floor. In addition, the price of the massage spa bath room is slightly higher"
"The overall check-in experience is very satisfactory, parking is extremely convenient, the room is clean and tidy, and the sound insulation effect is very good! If you come to Port Macquarie, I would definitely recommend this motel."

GGuest UserThank you for a wonderful short stay. I was visiting Lake Cathie for work and needing a last minute booking. I was fortunate to stay here, it was so close to the beach which I loved and a short walk to cafes and shops. I will certainly return.
GGuest UserI’ve stayed at many caravan parks before, but this one truly stood out. The sea view cabins were the highlight of our trip – waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the ocean views right from the deck was absolutely amazing. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable.
The park itself was well-maintained with great facilities, and the atmosphere was peaceful yet family-friendly. Staff were welcoming and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.
If you’re looking for a caravan park that combines comfort with a stunning location, I highly recommend this one – especially the sea view cabins.
GGuest UserIt was a fantastic stay. Service, cleanliness, location and amenities..chefs kiss. The buffet was the best part of the morning, and the food served was delicious. Props to the chefs and workers. The chefs made such various indulgent food choices and the workers would help take the dirty dishes away. The shopping centres were located near the mall, making it easier to buy goods. The location was obviously the best part. The sea to look at from your hotel room (if you had the seaside/poolside view) was breathtaking. I know for sure you would enjoy Sails Hotel, 10/10 stay and experience. Me and my family are definitely going there again.
SS SARANIYADHURGALoved the apartment, the location was just amazing. We were checking out early the next day and wished we had more time to spend in the apartment and the surrounding beaches. A little inconvenient if you are staying in the apartments as there was no lift and we had to climb 3 flight of stairs to get to our room with no help and a baby 😭
Kkay36The hotel entrance is 50 meters further ahead than the location provided by Ctrip, on a small slope.
The front desk auntie asked us enthusiastically if we needed a physical map and explained the situation of Port Macquarie. Since we arrived late, some restaurants were closed. She suggested their business areas and we successfully found delicious food~
Back to the room;
It was completely hotel standard, comfortable and clean big bed, sufficient lighting at night, curtains enough to block light during the day the next day, and it was quiet in the residential area.
The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, and the photos looked old, but it was really very clean. A hot bath washed away the fatigue of a day's driving.
Microwave oven, simple kitchen equipment is complete.
Parking is free, matching the number of rooms, and there is basically no over-parking.
I will stay here next time I pass by~
GGuest UserVery clean and spacious room. Felt comfortable in there. However, the pillow was a bit hard. The motel reception closed at 7pm and it was literally closed. The tip I learned is to send message by the phone number placed at the reception door or send email by the website's contact email. The staff was responsive to both ways - save you the overseas call if you're foreigners. The staff will send you the passcode of the key box then you can get the envelope of the room number and key. 6 minutes drive to Port Macquarie where has many good quality restaurants. We went to the Japanese restaurant, Ichi, very good quality dishes but not expensive! Another we didn't manage to go is Bills Fishouse & Bar. It was full house thus, needs to do reservation if you wan to secure a table. Saw what people eat in Bills - dishes looked beautiful and tasty.
GGuest UserFor the price all good but the check in was weird , some people got email or text to tell them where and how there key and room can be found but we didn't, so had to hunt the manager down to get into our room. Once we got in had to hunt down the manager again to ask for a couple of drinking glasses and given 2 two small odd glasses that could have been Vegemite jars. but on the whole good for price.
ZZHENGZIThe location is superior, the gate is just 1 minute from the seaside square to the seaside, the price is cheap, and the price/performance ratio is consistent.
We stayed for one night on the way back to Sydney from Bucun. We booked a triple room with indoor bathroom at RMB 779. The indoor facilities are outdated like domestic guest houses 20 years ago. The room is on the second floor, and there is a club on the first floor. We checked in on a Saturday, and basically couldn't sleep before midnight. Others are pretty good, and the service attitude is good.
