Beautiful accommodation at North gate, reception are extremely helpful and propose great food and itinerary during our stay. We regretted going to the waterfall that took us 5 hrs single way but Wang house is amazing. The boss allowed us to check out very late maybe now is their low period due to school examination. Thks definitely worth staying.

it was a bit hard to find (not exactly where it says on the map). friendly staff, knows no english at all so interaction was difficult. room was great & outdoor area beautiful

Couldn’t be more impressed with this hotel. One of the best places we’ve stayed at in terms of quality, hospitality and value for money. Hotel is stunning and historic. Rooms have beautiful traditional styling, yet have modern amenities which make them incredibly comfortable to stay in. Hosts were so welcoming and kind. They insisted on driving our bags to the taxi when leaving and we’re sorry we didn’t have time to take up their offer of tea before our train. Highly recommend this hotel!

Living in Pingyao Yushengde is really a great experience. The courtyard has two courtyards, the front and the back. The courtyard is elegant and exquisite, full of classical charm, and it is very good for taking pictures. It is also very enjoyable to sit in the courtyard at night and drink tea and chat. The room is fully equipped with smart facilities and comfortable bedding. The boss and his wife run the business with heart, are warm and thoughtful, and make people feel at home. The courtyard is located inside the north gate, just a few steps away from the north gate parking lot, which is very convenient for people who drive themselves. It is not far from the courtyard to the most lively South Street and West Street.

I was going to visit Pingyao Ancient City and wanted to find an affordable, clean and unique hotel. Finally, I booked Yushengde Hotel. I drove with my family. When I first arrived at the ancient city, I parked at the Beiguan parking lot. The boss rode a car to help pick up the luggage. It only took a few minutes to walk to the hotel. The hotel is very close to the North Gate, so it would be very convenient to eat outside the city. The hotel is very new and opened in 2023. The boss said that the hotel was built during the epidemic and took three years to build. The boss is very nice and helped us upgrade the room for free. We stayed in the hotel for two nights. I like sleeping on the earthen kang. The bed is big and not too soft. It is very suitable for the elderly, children and people with bad waists. The elders in the family got up very early and practiced Tai Chi in the yard. It was really comfortable. I often meet young ladies who come to the hotel for travel photography. They all think this yard is very beautiful. If you come to Pingyao Ancient City and don’t know where to stay, choose Yushengde Hotel!

The room facilities are good, just like the pictures provided. It can be seen that the decoration is carefully done. The location is very close to the Beiguan parking lot, which is very convenient for self-driving! Park and walk in for 5 minutes! The boss and the front desk service attitude are very good! The atmosphere is quite suitable for travel photography!

Wonderful atmospheric hotel! It is located near the northern gate, very convenient to get to the station. The rooms are new, the plumbing is ok, it is quiet, and veryoooo beautiful!

We decided to stay here because it was very close to the north parking lot. The guy drove a tricycle to the parking lot to pick us up and take us to the club, which was less than 5 minutes away. The clubhouse is beautiful and exquisite, and the rooms are clean, bright and spacious. At night, it is very atmospheric under the light of red lanterns. I went to Hongwu Ji, which was recommended by the boss, and it tasted good (20% off). I also watched "Meet Pingyao Again", which was recommended by the boss, and it was worth watching.
