GGuest UserI booked this tent because I wanted my child to be able to play in the sand right outside.
First, the positives:
The room was unexpectedly spacious and clean, with new and tasteful furniture. Even though it's a tent, it felt very stable during windy nights.
The room's location was truly excellent. We stayed in room 1019, which was at the very end, with sand dunes right outside our door. Adults could sit at their tent entrance and watch their children dig and slide in the sand – it was very convenient and felt like a real vacation.
Although meals aren't provided, there's a BBQ and hotpot restaurant just over a small dune, open from 6-10 pm, which was good enough.
However, there were a few minor downsides:
There was no hot water at the sink. While I understand that conditions are limited in the desert, it was very uncomfortable to wash hands and face with icy cold water when the temperature was low, especially since my child needed to wash their hands frequently after playing in the sand. I suggest the hotel's vending machines sell some wet wipes.
When checking in, I asked the front desk if we needed to wear sand-proof shoe covers on the way to the tent, and the staff said no. This was completely misleading. There were many sections on the way where we had to walk through sand. Without shoe covers, sand definitely got into our shoes by the time we reached the tent.
Checking in required purchasing a ticket package for Yuesha Island. We didn't actually use any of the facilities on Yuesha Island. It would have been better if this cost was included in the room rate. Otherwise, if you don't look closely at the booking, you might not notice this fee. Ultimately, the value for money wasn't as good as Fusha. However, being able to play in the sand right outside was my core requirement, so I didn't fuss about the price. Frankly, with these conditions in the desert, I would have been fine paying over a thousand yuan a night. Splitting it into a room fee and a package fee just made the package feel not worth it.
Finally, when we returned to the tent at around 9 pm, we found the air conditioner was broken. With temperatures around 5-6 degrees Celsius, and my child having just returned from playing in the sand outside, the need for warmth was immense. We reported the AC issue to the housekeeper. Although they dealt with it immediately, it wasn't resolved until close to 10 or 11 pm. My child took a hot shower before the AC repair person arrived, and we were very nervous while drying him off, fearing he might get sick. After sleeping through the night, it still felt very cold in the tent in the morning. While the tent experience was fun, we really didn't dare to stay a second night. And the fact that the camp didn't offer any form of apology or comfort for the broken AC was disappointing. The next day, it was as if nothing had happened. In Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, something like this would at least warrant a complimentary afternoon tea or something similar. Of course, later, when I slipped and fell at the Lotus Hotel and they also offered no acknowledgment, this incident with the AC seemed less significant in comparison. Perhaps this is just the level of service here.
Overall, without the AC issue, I would have given it five stars.

GGuest UserIt's great! The owner is very nice and handsome. His stir-fries are absolutely delicious, and he's very kind to guests. I highly recommend staying here. The environment is clean, and the stay is very comfortable. They even take you to play in the sand, which is a lot of fun!

The front desk lady is very good-looking from the first-person perspective. She also patiently answered my questions. There are small gifts for check-in. Not only check-in, but also greeted in the corridor. It is very warm when you go out. Compared with other hotels, this place is very convenient. Overall recommended

The most delightful surprise of my trip to the Kubuqi Desert was staying at the Moye Starry Sky Desert Hotel. The experience was absolutely fantastic, completely exceeding my expectations!

The hotel is located in the heart of the Kubuqi Desert, with the endless sea of sand right outside your door, offering incredibly expansive views. Watching the sunset in the evening and chasing the sunrise over the sand dunes in the morning, every snapshot is wallpaper-worthy. At night, you can look up and see a sky full of stars. Lying under the starry sky ceiling in your room and watching the Milky Way is incredibly romantic, truly realizing the dream of ”sleeping on the sand and dreaming of the starry sky.”

- Interior amenities: The room is clean and odor-free, the bedding is soft and comfortable, there is a stable 24-hour hot water supply, a separate bathroom with a dry and wet separation, air conditioning, smart room control, a telescope, and a projector – all the details are meticulously designed.
🤝 Thoughtful and Attentive Service
The staff were warm and professional throughout, from check-in pick-up and drop-off, luggage assistance, to patiently explaining stargazing guides, and providing free sandboards and sand socks. They were always there to help, showing their care and concern. They even organized bonfire parties and stargazing activities in the evenings, creating a truly immersive atmosphere.

The restaurant offers authentic Northwest Chinese cuisine, with a hearty breakfast and desert barbecue in the evenings. Facilities like a stargazing platform and a one-stop shop for desert activities such as sand play, camel riding, and dune buggying make it perfect for families and couples.
In summary: Such a high-quality accommodation experience in the desert is truly rare! Half of it is the vastness of the sand dunes, and the other half is the romance of the starry sky. The service and facilities are impeccable. Highly recommended! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kubuqi!

The road at the entrance is indeed very ordinary, but when I got to the entrance of the courtyard, it was suddenly open, parking was convenient, the courtyard was clean, and the house was also clean. The boss is a very down-to-earth person and doesn't talk much. The family room at the entrance of the scenic area is more than 200 yuan, and the environment is really good. The boss's breakfast is very standard. I happened to see boiled corn and bought two. It was super delicious. The boss grew it himself, so I had to buy some to take away. After all, it's not a hotel. It's enough to solve the problem of food and clothing. There are almost no hotels with this price that include breakfast. If I come here to travel again, I will definitely stay here again. The boss's family can rent sandboards, and there are cute kittens.

The accommodation was excellent value for money; it was shaped like a Mongolian yurt, but the facilities inside were very good. The housekeeper was very friendly and polite, and cleaned the room very thoroughly. We watched an equestrian show, ate boiled lamb, and stayed in a yurt – a very good experience overall!

The room was bright, clean, and hygienic, and all the toiletries were disposable, which made me feel very safe and comfortable. The price was affordable, and it was very convenient to get to scenic spots and shopping malls. I was very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it! 👍 I'll definitely come again next time.

This homestay is in a scenic park next to a desert (Lengmen Scenic Area)
The homestay has divided many courtyards (you can see the pictures). Each courtyard has a wall surrounded. We stayed in No. 3 courtyard, all of which are parent-child rooms (1 double bed, 1 single bed), and each courtyard room type is different. Several courtyards are separated a little distance, the No. 3 courtyard is about a few hundred meters away from the others, and there is a camp account farther away from other courtyards. It takes about 5 minutes to drive (the park is very large)
The courtyard can be seen to be carefully built, but it is indeed not taken care of. The weeds in the yard are not pruned, and there are no service staff. Because the location here is very remote, it is almost a wilderness, so if there is no staff, it will make people feel insecure.
Health:
The room in Courtyard 3 we stayed in: the overall health is OK, there is no dirty place, but because there is no careful care, there will be some broken corners.
Advantages:
The bedding in Courtyard 3 looks average and not particularly clean, but it is comfortable to sleep, and the mattress is not hard.
Living here can enjoy the desert privately, no need to go to the scenic spot to queue up, especially with children. We came here very late at night, and we were temporarily sleeping. The next morning, we got up and had breakfast. The children could play in the sand.
About breakfast: After all, it is in the desert, so breakfast is relatively simple, but it can also be full. If you are worried about eating, it is recommended to bring your own food.
Although the accommodation conditions are slightly insufficient, if you want to feel the desert, it is still recommended to live here.

AAnonymous UserHaving stayed in so many hotels, this is the first time I can't help but comment that this is the only hotel in the scenic area. It looks good based on the price, but only those who have stayed there know.
1. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and took my luggage on his own initiative. My first impression was quite good.
As soon as I moved in, I discovered that the air conditioner was roaring loudly, the toilet button required skill - if you pressed it incorrectly the water would just keep flowing, and the sink drain was half-blocked, so after using it you had to wait for the water to flow out before you could use it again. There was a male waiter at the front desk with a bad attitude. I booked a family room for four people, and there were only two 335ml bottles of water in it. I asked for four more bottles, but he said it would be charged. This is the first time I heard that hotels charge for mineral water! The one point deducted from the service was by the male receptionist! The cleaning staff has a better attitude than the male waiter at the front desk! However, the fireworks show during the May Day holiday is still a plus!
