SShilongniuyaThe price was a bit high during the National Day holiday.
The courtyard is very convenient, located on the edge of the desert.
It's very convenient to go to Xiangshawan and Kubuqi Desert.
It's not too far to drive into the desert to see the stars at night.
However, the road to Highway 07 is a bit rough.

AAnonymous UserI was initially in a dilemma about whether to stay here or not, but looking back, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip!
After carefully planning the journey, getting there was actually quite straightforward. For those coming from Hohhot, here's the route I took:
1. Take a train from Hohhot to Dalate West Station.
2. Take a Didi from Dalate West Station to Huailian Tourism Resort Reception Center (about 40 minutes, around CNY50).
3. Purchase rm176 of the Whistling Dune Bay package ticket, which includes admission, cable car, Yuesha Island access, and a camel ride.
4. Resort guests have access to a special lane for the cable car, which takes about 8 minutes.
5. Upon arrival, take the resort jeep transfer to the accommodation area.
6. Enjoy activities such as sand sliding, swimming in the pool, stargazing, and simply experiencing the peaceful desert atmosphere at night.
7. After checkout, take the jeep transfer to the mini desert train, followed by the duck car ride, before returning via cable car.
8. It can be difficult to get a Didi from the resort reception area, but the staff kindly helped arrange a taxi back to Dalate West Station for around CNY50.
9. Continue the journey from Dalate West Station to Ordos.
What impressed me most was the hospitality. From the WeChat communication before arrival to the reception team and resort staff, everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming.
The night experience was truly spectacular. The desert becomes so peaceful after sunset — all you can hear is the sound of the sand, while above you is a sky filled with countless stars and a beautiful moon. It was one of the most memorable moments of my trip.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique desert stay and unforgettable experience!

GGuest UserLet's start with the cons: 1. No soundproofing, light sees through the door, and outside noises are clearly audible.
2. No towels are provided (only disposable face towels and regular bath towels are provided (the bath towels weren't cleaned properly, see Picture 1).
3. The shower and bathroom are far from what's advertised. The facilities are a bit dated, see Picture 3.
4. The provided tissues are a bit awkward (see Picture 2).
Pros:
1. The bed is very comfortable.
2. The projection is excellent, a great experience.
3. Xiao Ai can control the lighting, air conditioning, and projection, which is very smart and easy to use.
4. The service is excellent and very attentive. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service level is very high.
Overall, it's a great value for money. The projection system is very nice, and the room is very smart. 👍🏻
GGuest UserMy expectation was meh before arriving this accommodation. However, the guys at the reception are very helpful and they also arranged a minibus to pick us up from the tourist centre. As for the conditions of our room, it is unexpectedly clean and tidy and as the sign was pointed out, it is very normal to have dust and sand appear in the room since we are at the desert. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience!
DDimomoThe hotel was great, very clean, and they even provided milk and bread rolls. It's about a 30-minute drive from Xiangshawan Desert. The breakfast was a bit limited, but overall it was excellent.

GGuest UserThis time I came to Dalat Banner to play in the desert, and it was really wise to choose the sand-side B&B! The location is excellent, close to Kubuqi and Yinkentara scenic spots, you can step on the sand when you go out. In the afternoon, you can see the beautiful sunset of the desert! The traffic is also very convenient. The best thing is that the yard listens to the wind of the desert at night, and the sky is full of stars. The experience is full! Although the room is simple, it is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, the hot water is enough, and it is especially good to rest after a day of playing. The stewed lamb and glazed noodles in the surrounding local restaurants are also very authentic and affordable. If you don't pursue luxury, focus on cost-effectiveness and convenience, this one is absolutely closed!
GGuest UserThe grass wasn't particularly green yet, but it was a great time to visit with family and kids. The accommodation was excellent value for money; it was shaped like a Mongolian yurt, but the facilities inside were very good. The housekeeper was very friendly and polite, and cleaned the room very thoroughly. We watched an equestrian show, ate boiled lamb, and stayed in a yurt – a very good experience overall!
AAnonymous UserI had a fantastic stay this time! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and always had a warm smile. They were also very well-presented, exuding professionalism and approachability in everything they did, which left a deep impression. The hotel's location is super convenient, with easy access to transportation, making getting around a breeze. The room facilities were comprehensive and spotless, and I especially appreciated the disposable bath towels and hand towels, which made me feel very safe using them. The smart home system throughout the room was quite handy, and oh, they also offer breakfast! I highly recommend it to all my friends! If you're thinking of staying here, don't hesitate, just book it!

AAnonymous UserHaving stayed in so many hotels, this is the first time I can't help but comment that this is the only hotel in the scenic area. It looks good based on the price, but only those who have stayed there know.
1. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and took my luggage on his own initiative. My first impression was quite good.
As soon as I moved in, I discovered that the air conditioner was roaring loudly, the toilet button required skill - if you pressed it incorrectly the water would just keep flowing, and the sink drain was half-blocked, so after using it you had to wait for the water to flow out before you could use it again. There was a male waiter at the front desk with a bad attitude. I booked a family room for four people, and there were only two 335ml bottles of water in it. I asked for four more bottles, but he said it would be charged. This is the first time I heard that hotels charge for mineral water! The one point deducted from the service was by the male receptionist! The cleaning staff has a better attitude than the male waiter at the front desk! However, the fireworks show during the May Day holiday is still a plus!
