"It was Women's Day, and it was another Saturday and Sunday. My wife and I took a break from our busy schedule to visit Pingyao Ancient City. We booked this hotel online. From the moment we booked, the hotel manager contacted us. Meeting us at the high-speed rail station was a pleasant surprise. We also gave my wife flowers for Women's Day (though I hadn't already given her one) and a beautiful jewelry box as a souvenir. This stay was absolutely perfect! The service was impeccable, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The rooms were spacious and bright, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The hotel's location is also fantastic (right in the heart of the ancient city). Both the amenities and the service were top-notch. Every detail was meticulously thought out, and they were always ready to help. (The tour ended at 10:30 PM, and the hotel manager was waiting ten minutes early to take us back to the hotel.) It was an impeccable stay and I highly recommend it to any discerning traveler! This hotel completely exceeded my expectations!"

"I compared many hotels online and chose this one. After placing my order, a housekeeper contacted me. The pick-up and drop-off service was fantastic. I didn't even have to carry my luggage; the front desk guy helped me along the way. Everyone else was incredibly welcoming, making it feel like home. The hotel's setting is an antique courtyard house, giving it a time-travel feel and a sense of history. The room amenities and cleanliness were excellent. Xiaodu turned off the lights and curtains, and the room also had an automatic toilet, a humidifier, and a small refrigerator (with free drinks). Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety, and the beef, bowl tray, and kuoluoluo were delicious. The location is just over 100 meters from Ming and Qing Street, making it very convenient for commuting. I'd definitely stay there again!"

The hotel facilities are new. These are good hardware. The most important thing is that the boss service is too good. We didn't go out on the first day. The boss also helped us cook lunch. It is in the scenic area of Pingyao Ancient City. It takes a few minutes to walk to the core attractions of Ming and Qing Street and the county. If you are tired, you can go back to the hotel to rest at any time, and you don't have to worry about traffic. And the surrounding area is full of antique buildings, you can feel the fireworks of the ancient city by opening the window, and the photos are also specially made. 🌹 The room is very carefully arranged, both the simplicity of the ancient city and the modern comfort. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, sleeps particularly well, and the sound insulation is also done well. It is quiet at night and will not be disturbed by the lively outside. The bathroom is clean and tidy, the hot water is sufficient, the quality of toiletries is also very good, and it is very comfortable to use. What surprised me most was the service. From check-in to departure, every staff member was particularly warm and thoughtful. Knowing that we are here to travel, we also took the initiative to recommend niche play routes and local delicious restaurants, avoiding the pits of many people. The breakfast is rich in variety, there are local specialties and common meals, the taste is very authentic, eat full and then set off, all day long is energetic. Next time I come to Pingyao, I will definitely choose this one! "The rooms are decorated in a simple, fresh, wood-panel style, and are definitely one of the best in the ancient city. The hotel opened late last year, and the facilities are very new. The central courtyard is a nice touch, and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that the newly renovated rooms have a slight odor. Try opening the ventilation or the door frequently to dissipate the odor. This should improve over time, so future visitors should consider this."

"Service: The owner was very attentive and even helped us pick up our luggage from our previous hotel, saving us time. It was super nice! 👌🏻 Environment: We canceled our previous hotel reservation immediately after seeing this hotel open, and it proved to be a great choice. The decor is very new, and the vibrant jujube trees in the courtyard are a real delight. The night view is also stunning, perfect for taking photos. Cleanliness: The courtyard is very clean and tidy, and the maid is diligent in cleaning. I even saw her mopping the courtyard while I was eating breakfast, which was a very pleasant experience. Amenities: The room was well-equipped, with Marshall speakers, a Dyson hair dryer, a temperature-controlled towel rack, and smart home technology—essential for a quality travel experience. It's the details that really make it stand out. After my travel photography trip, I returned to the hotel to shower, turned on the speakers, and listened to music. My husband sat on the sofa. The courtyard was quiet and peaceful, creating a very relaxing atmosphere that instantly soothed the fatigue of walking around the ancient city. Breakfast: I don't think there are many breakfast options in Pingyao, but this one offers both Chinese and Western dishes, and they're very filling."

"This hotel is in a prime location on Main Street, right next to the famous Cheng Huang Miao temple. It offers both convenience and a sense of seclusion. Despite my room being near the main entrance, I experienced no noise or disturbances. The hotel arranged a seamless transfer from East Gate, where vehicles are permitted, to the temple, followed by a short 50-meter walk to the hotel. This service, included in the hotel package, made the arrival process effortless. Communication via WeChat and assistance from my tour guide ensured a smooth transfer both in and out. They also provided luggage assistance, which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The owner… or at least, I assume he is was incredibly friendly, informative, and helpful. He provided useful tour information and even gifted a bottle of vinegar upon departure. Only one exception that language might be a barrier if you totally can’t speak Chinese - but fret not there’s always translator tools. The room was very comfortable and appeared newly renovated, with excellent pillows and a cozy comforter. Both the room and bathroom were clean. Amenities included disposable towels, essential toiletries, and a powerful hairdryer. We didn’t have any food here as our room didn’t come with it but that’s fine, there are plenty of options in Pingyao which you should go out to try. As a frequent guest of Marriott chains (which means I have certain level of expectations), I had to explore local options since there isn’t one in Pingyao. This hotel met my expectations, and I highly recommend it to both local and international travellers. For the reasonable price and excellent location, I have no complaints, except that I wish I had stayed two nights instead of one!"

"The hotel is very convenient at the gate of the north gate of the ancient city. The window of the room is not open on the side of the road, so it is not noisy at all. The child was originally picky about the hotel, but I felt that this one was not bad and the price was high."

"Excellent and friendly reception when we arrived at the hotel. We only had one and half days to tour pingyao and the hotel staff were very helpful in recommending a half day guided tour with buggy transport to various sites in Pingyao Guchen. They also helped us to link up with a tour agency to book a day tour to Wang Jia Da Yuan and Hukou waterfall. The staff helped us to book tickets to the show，又见平遥， and shuttled us to the venue after the half day tour. Because of their excellent recommendations and service, we managed to enjoy the sights and culture of Pingyao within one and half days. The hotel is in a beautiful traditional courtyard. Newly renovated. The room is very clean with modern amenities. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is hearty. We also love the free transfer from high speed rail station to hotel and return. Highly recommended!"
