"The room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with a great design. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the second-floor balcony, looking out at the distant mountains; after a rain, the misty clouds created a truly unique atmosphere. The owner was always so welcoming, inviting everyone to share tea and chat. Every evening, they prepared BBQ with their own delicious black pork – something I secretly looked forward to daily! What's truly special is how travelers from all walks of life come together because of this, enjoying lively conversations and sharing their experiences. Great mountains, great tea, great people!"

"The location of this hotel is really convenient, just next to it, go out and turn right for a short walk and there is a platform suitable for taking pictures, the scenery is very good. I lived in the room with plenty of lighting and spacious space. The off-season came over and the price was very high. If you come back next time, you will consider staying here, and I recommend it to friends who want to find accommodation in Lancang ~"

"I was very satisfied with the guesthouse I booked this time. The owner was very kind, simple, and friendly. We even had tea and chatted with him after dinner. The guesthouse was very clean, and all the disposable items were provided. The toilet even had a smart toilet. The terrace was huge with an absolutely stunning view, perfect for watching the sunset without any obstruction. It was very comfortable to enjoy the breeze and scenery on the terrace every day. It's very close to Wengji, and not far from Manghong to watch the sunrise and sunset. It's also convenient to get there by car. I will definitely stay here again next time I come. #hygiene"

"To be fair, the environment is indeed lovely, and the landscape design, including the pool and gym, is very well-thought-out. However... 1) The room was too hot. It was 31 degrees Celsius when we checked in. We set the air conditioning to 16 degrees with maximum fan speed and left it on all night. The next day, the display still showed 29 degrees. It was incredibly stuffy. 2) The breakfast selection was quite limited. My parents, who were traveling with me, said it wasn't even as good as Atour's. There were no hot dishes at all. We only found out we could order stir-fried beef with broccoli by asking. The rice noodles were also the worst we'd had on our entire Yunnan road trip – soft and mushy. My parents mentioned speaking to a staff member who said it was due to low occupancy, so they hadn't prepared much. This really shouldn't be the standard for an InterContinental. Even if there aren't many cold dishes, simply making a decent bowl of noodles or rice vermicelli would significantly improve the experience. I could sense the staff's eagerness to please and their diligence; they kept asking how our stay was and what we wanted to eat. They even brought a bowl of tangyuan (sweet glutinous rice balls) even after we said we didn't want any. But honestly, it felt a bit misplaced. It would have been much better if they had focused on ensuring comfortable room temperatures and providing a basic, decent breakfast selection."

"Friends who want to book can see my evaluation. It is not difficult to find a location according to the situation. It is just a slope at the intersection, but you can't walk to any attraction. You need to drive or battery car. The hotel room has a balcony, the view is beautiful, and the sunrise and sunset are suitable for chatting. The interior of the room is not bad and clean, the mattress is soft, the tea set is sent, and the water has two boxes of milk. But one thing, disposable slippers may be reused and dirty as shown in the picture. The towels are wrapped in plastic bags, it seems to be sterilized, it looks clean, but we are useless. The toilet and shower room are very small, the door is still safe, the door is not open, people are squeezed in from the small mouth, very sloppy. The room was small, the bed and the sink were next to each other, and the bed was half a wall apart. Breakfast could be delivered to the room, glutinous rice, eggs, soy milk, and rice noodles. The price is too high during the Spring Festival, so I personally think that the price of 1400 is low, so I give 3 stars."

In the folds of southwestern Yunnan’s mountains, Lancang rests quietly like a gently infused Pu'er tea leaf. And tucked away in the most vibrant stretch of Lancang New Street’s网红 strip, Floras·Tea Villa finds its home—where the aroma of grilled rice cakes and the antiphonal singing of Lahu love songs greet you at the door, and another Lancang, veiled in tea mist and the silent rhythm of brocade weaving, awaits within. This is a tea villa that grew, not one that was built. The designer honors this sense of growth, intervening only where necessary—letting the restrained elegance of wabi-sabi set off the richness of ethnic patterns, and framing the old street’s dawn and dusk through floor-to-ceiling glass. And so, the tea villa acquires a character all its own. The soul of the tea villa lies in its firepit. New Street’s网红lane is Lancang’s liveliest pulse, and the tea villa beats right along with it. Thirty steps to the left, a liangfen stall that’s been there for twenty years; fifty steps to the right, a new café-bar run by the younger generation. Yet, curiously enough, as you sit idling under the mango tree in the courtyard, the clamor of the street fades into a distant hum, with only the occasional vendor’s call drifting through, like snippets of a bygone era escaping from an old radio. In the guest-exclusive "Lancang Old Street Eats Hand-Drawn Map" lies a lifetime of the host’s flavor memories: which rice noodle shop asks for a double topping, which barbecue joint must be paired with sour pickled greens, which pour-over coffee is brewed from beans grown by the uncle next door. And staying here, you’re no longer a visitor. At Tea Villa, Lancang is not the destination—it’s life itself.

"Awesome Lancang B&B experience! The overall is warm log decoration, the design of the big tea table is too suitable for the heart, and a pot of tea is made when you return from the trip, and you can instantly relieve your fatigue. The room is clean and comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the details can feel the boss's intentions. The location is excellent, it is very convenient to go shopping and eat around, the boss will patiently answer questions, recommend local niche punch points and specialties, cost-effective. Come to Lancang for tourism, choose this one without stepping on thunder!"

"Although the room was small, it had everything you needed. It was very quiet in Jingmai Village. It was about a half-hour drive to Wengji and Nuogan. What was particularly amazing was that there were two small restaurants nearby where the local food was really delicious. In the evening, the owner would brew tea around a stove on the roof, and the roasted milk was very tasty!"

"The proprietress was very enthusiastic, greeted us for tea, and also sent a gift of raw tea, thank you. The little brother in Guangdong introduced us to many anecdotes of Jingmai Mountain. Although it rained for two days, I felt that I didn't come here in vain. The house is newly built, just on the big slope at the entrance of the village. Parking at the door is very convenient. The room is facing the woods, very open, suitable for a daze. The only thing that takes a bath is too slow, this is a problem with the design of the house, which does not affect the overall experience."

"A newly opened guesthouse in Manghong boasts a prime location. The rooms are clean and the facilities are new. Every morning, drawing back the curtains reveals a stunning view of the misty mountains, and you can also enjoy the view from the rooftop. The sounds of insects chirping and roosters crowing in the morning are incredibly soothing. Furthermore, the guesthouse breakfast is delicious. During my three-day stay, I looked forward to slurping downstairs for a bowl of steaming hot, fragrant rice noodles every morning! The fried eggs were also delicious. Highly recommended! Another day missing Jingmai Mountain..."

"Perfection exists. It’s here haha ! Beautiful place, rooms with stunning views. The first evening, we left our stuffs in the room and got invited to join villagers for drinking and diner. The host are very kind and helpful. I had more free tea in 3 days than ever in the rest of my life. The village is also very cute and it looks very peaceful. We had a great barbecue at the nearest restaurant the other night. You also are not far from other villages ! We will come back :)"
