We decided to stay at Eterna Venue Hotel (Liu Shi) instead of the many BnBs on the mountain, having often found those overpriced and lacking in cleanliness. What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be!
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made it feel like home. Many of the team members come from nearby tea-farming communities, and their passion for the land was palpable. They didn’t just serve tea—they shared stories of the heritage behind it, offering insights into the different tea varieties and local traditions.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality linens. I loved waking up to the sound of roosters and the first rays of sunshine streaming through the window. If you’re like me and prefer to leave the window open at night, the fresh mountain air is the perfect way to start your day.
For breakfast, don’t miss the fresh rice noodles and seafood congee—so flavorful! The fruit selection was also fresh and changed daily.
A pleasant surprise was finding Cha Ling (a premium LVMH brand) as the hotel’s amenity. Made with tea extract, it added a luxurious touch to my stay.
One of my favorite experiences was the traditional tea baking session, Wei Lu Kao Cha. We gathered around a carbon stove, sipped Pu’er tea, ate locally harvested fruit and nuts, and learned to bake our own tea leaves under the guidance of tea masters.
The staff’s pride in their cultural heritage shone through in every interaction, making what could have been a simple stay feel like an immersive cultural journey.

I stayed for 3 consecutive days and everything was fine. However, when I checked out, the waiter said I was late and that the latest time was 2 o'clock because the cleaners had all gone off duty. Very unfriendly attitude. I thought I had remembered the time wrong, but when I checked the software I saw that it could indeed be delayed to 3pm. As the screenshot shows, the check-out time was only around 2:15 pm. The girl at the front desk must have forgotten that she is working in the service industry. We don't come out to have fun, not to cause trouble, but it's not okay to suffer bullying for no reason. So for those who haven't reviewed a review for a day, I'd like to give you a good review. GGuest UserIn the May 1st Golden Week, I lived in Jingmai Mountain. The luckiest thing was to choose to live here in Wengwa. From Wengji Ancient Village, I walked about one kilometer to the Wengwa Ancient Village, which is full of Aboriginal people. From the noise, one-click switch is quiet. The innkeeper is a 98-year-old Yi girl with two cute children. Especially capable, especially enthusiastic. When it rained heavily, I drank the tea at the proprietress’s house. I tasted all kinds of authentic ethnic dishes, bananas and plums and picked them directly from the tree. Because the stay was too comfortable, I stayed for two consecutive nights. Her family was at the head of the village to watch the sunset. Natural observation deck, You can watch the sunset and watch the clouds without leaving home. The photos of the film were all taken in Wengwa! There are few people and beautiful scenery! After going out to the Jingmai Mountain attractions, I can't wait to return to the quiet Weng wow. I want to experience the pure paradise. The original Aboriginal life is very recommended. It is definitely a surprise! I can't hold back the mood I shared and wrote a small composition.

We arrived in the afternoon and drove to Nuogan Ancient Village first. When we went back in the evening, the boss and his wife entertained us with their own tea and told us about the local cultural customs and customs! The lady boss was particularly talkative and chatted with us for more than an hour. The meat, rice noodles, corn and eggs cooked for us the next morning were very delicious. About Jingmai Mountain: It’s very frustrating to drive here. The 40 to 50 kilometers of mountain roads are all gravel roads. My 20-inch 45-inch thick tires really only dare to drive about 20 kilometers per hour. I’m really afraid of punctures or punctures. The other road down the mountain is a two-way single-lane concrete road with countless sharp turns. The grass on both sides is taller than my big SUV. Anyone who knows how to drive this way down the mountain will understand! I've had a car for 20 years. So friends who come to Jingmai Mountain for self-driving must drive carefully!

The last two nights I stayed in the same room on the first floor. Each room had its own characteristics and I liked them all very much. You can see the sea of clouds from the room and the balcony. The homestay is in the middle of the village. It feels great to watch people coming and going from the balcony. The boss and his wife also cook delicious food. On New Year's Eve, the boss treated everyone to roast pork. The longer I stayed, the more times I was able to enjoy it. The boss is a hard-working person who has high standards and qualities for himself and his career. The boss's wife is gentle, quiet and loves life. There are many plants and flowers in the homestay, which are check-in and photo spots in the village. The layout is very clean and beautiful.

Parking in the courtyard is convenient, unlike the village of Tenggan and Wengji cars. The room is large and the facilities are good. Reception is hospitable and allow us to use cash even though most ppl uses Wei Xin to pay here.
Cleanliness can be looked into as the towels have some stains if u look closely. Room is slightly old and needs some maintenance.
Other than that, I think this is one of the better lodging in this area as of now.
