"To establish a successful hotel, particularly one that offers a memorable guest experience, requires careful planning and execution. Consider the following aspects: a welcoming atmosphere, especially for late arrivals; a blend of historical charm and modern amenities; a well-trained and attentive staff, as exemplified by the manager's warm welcome; and the provision of exceptional features, such as a rooftop patio with stunning views and well-appointed rooms. The presence of air conditioning and clean, high-standard bathrooms are essential. This establishment appears to be a remarkable destination."
"I recently stayed at Khan DuiDar Inn in Giza and had a pleasant experience. The hotel was very clean, which made for a comfortable stay.
The view of the Pyramids from the terrace was a real highlight and made for a lovely backdrop while relaxing.
The staff were also friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive vibe of the hotel.
While the neighborhood is quite old and poor, as expected, stepping into the hotel felt like entering a calm oasis.
Overall, I recommend Khan DuiDar Inn for anyone visiting Giza. It’s a clean, welcoming place with great views!"
"It is on the main street so not as close as other Instagram hotels but the environment around is way better! It’s like half price of other very close to pyramid Instagram kind of hotel but you don’t need to suffer all the annoying people around and smelly shits on the street. The room is big and quiet, staff is nice and friendly."

"This hotel truly surpassed my expectations. Its location is excellent, just 50 meters downstairs from the entrance to the Giza Pyramids complex. Compared to the many shabby accommodations in the vicinity, it stood out as the only clean, well-kept, and rather upscale-looking hotel. It's exceptionally clean and tidy, the staff provides excellent service, and the rooms are comfortable, on par with standards expected of a good mid-range hotel chain. Our pyramid-view room offered direct views of the pyramids right from the window. The rooftop restaurant also boasts stunning, direct views of the Giza Pyramids. Breakfast was quite extensive; although predominantly Western fare, the roasted eggplant was particularly delicious. It's almost flawless. If I had to mention a minor point, the rooftop restaurant is quite expensive, with many dishes priced around 70-80 RMB. Luckily, more affordable dining options like KFC and Pizza Hut are conveniently located nearby."
"The location of this hotel is quite close to the Giza pyramid destination, I even walked from the hotel location to the Giza pyramid. The room is also quite comfortable with 3 beds for our family. It's just that some facilities need to be improved, for example, electricity facilities that must be anticipated if the electricity goes out."
"We stayed as a group of 6 people in 3 rooms. The rooms were neat and clean, and the location was very close to the Giza Pyramids. The rooftop offered a fantastic view of the pyramids. Both staff members, Yusuf and Noor, were very friendly and helpful. The place is budget-friendly. My only recommendation for Solima would be to improve the breakfast by changing the menu daily, as we stayed for 4 days and found it repetitive. Otherwise, the overall experience was excellent Keep to do good Job”"
"Wonderfully kind staff who upgraded our room for free and were completely helpful. My girlfriend was sexually assulted 2 minutes from the hotel on the main road in broad daylight. I know this isn't the fault of the hotel (obviously) but the area isn't safe for women! Would love to leave a positive review because the staff were kind and the room was beautiful, but I can't reccomend staying in this area given our experience. We had to leave after 2 nights after a 5 night stay because we didn't feel safe going outside anymore."
"We arrived almost midnight. The manager immediately began to persuade us to upgrade to a family room, overlooking the pyramids. Everything was brought into play, including even the fact that our room, which we had booked, was supposedly not ready. Is it at midnight? :)))
In general we agreed for 500 pounds/night.
The room is, ultimately, absurdly big. Everything needs updating. The water pressure is very weak. Washing up was a problem. Linen and towels are more or less clean.
Breakfast is just terrible. How can you serve breakfast and not offer tea or coffee???!!! This is already the 46th country we have visited. And probably the 1000th hotel we have stayed in. And this is the first time we are encountering this. Nonsense!"
"The location is great. You can see the pyramids and the Sphinx from the balcony of the room. The restaurant is completely facing the landscape, and you can see the pyramid light show at night! The breakfast is also delicious, and the staff service is also good. It would be more perfect if the electric water heater is changed to a larger capacity one."
"피라미드를 즐기기에 아주 좋은 장소입니다. 뿐만 아니라 각종 투어 픽업이 근처 kfc에서 이뤄지므로 위치가 매우 좋습니다. 새벽 1시가 넘은 시각에 도착했는데도 체크인이 원활하게 도와주었고, 화장실과 침구도 편안했습니다. 무엇보다도 호텔 루프탑에서 조식을 먹으며 피라미드를 볼 수 있어 좋았습니다."

EEsee MunkhIf this hotel is in your budget, JUST BOOK IT! You can’t find any hotel that is better than this. I swear, Al Farida is one of the 2 best hotels in Giza!
I was searching for a Giza hotel for over 2 weeks, yet couldn’t find any. Decided to get a hotel after I arrive in Giza by seeing with my own eyes and chose this one.
THIS HOTEL IS BRAND NEW, 2 months old as of January, 2025. When you enter the room, you’d smell wood from new furnitures, very pleasant. Shower is nice, instantly hot.
Location is very good, 50-100 meters from the entrance of Giza Pyramids but no smell of horse and camel dung. As it’s so close to the pyramids, the view from the rooftop is breathtaking as well…
Staff are amazing as well. Lovely Muhamed (both), Eslam, Tahir… They’re all fantastic, will make your stay great. Also, you’ll see the cutest bellboys there (only 15,17 years old).
In short, JUST BOOK IT. Hotel rooms look exactly like on the pics. Don’t hesitate. Trust me!
Minor issues to fix: Curtains were half in our room, breakfast and food takes more than 30 minutes.
GGuest UserVery very happy with this hotel. It is very clean. Modern. There is very comfortable bedroom. Proposes socks and what is needed for the bathroom. Great view from the terrace on the pyramids. Personnel very listening. They were all there for us . They offered us an airport ship for not gallery . I recommend without hesitation. Thanks to the entire team
Ssakib binhasanThe hotel is one of the oldest hotels nearest to the pyramids. It's one minute walking distance to pyramids main entry. As an old infrastructure they tried to renovate at their best but however there may have lacking ie. Lights functioning, lock system etc. But I recommend all for their wholehearted support and generosity towards their guests. They are all the way helpful. You can also book transportation from them, I believe that will reduce your troubles outside with taxi negotiations.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel was definitely convenient — it’s very close to the train station, and there’s even a convenience store just a minute's walk away, which made grabbing essentials really easy. Every day, I could see the pyramids from my room, which was absolutely amazing and definitely the highlight of my stay.
The hotel staff were also very kind and helpful, always willing to assist with anything I needed. However, despite these positives, the hotel itself was quite disappointing in terms of cleanliness. The lobby and hallways felt a bit neglected, and my room didn’t seem very well maintained — the carpet looked worn out and there was a musty smell that lingered throughout my stay.
Also, even though the location is great, the entrance to the hotel was hard to find and had an uninviting atmosphere that made me hesitate before going in. Overall, it’s a place with some unforgettable views and kind staff, but if you care a lot about cleanliness and overall atmosphere, it might not be the best choice.
MMianbaojiuThe B&B is only ten minutes drive from the entrance of the pyramids. The location is very good. The guy at the front desk is very friendly. The B&B is clean and tidy. You can see the three pyramids and the Sphinx from the room and the rooftop terrace. The key is the price. Not bad~ There is only one entrance on the first floor of the B&B. The front desk is upstairs. When you get to the door, just open the door or ring the doorbell~
AAkkarpanLocation, location, location! Mohammed and Mustafa and staff are lovely and the best thing about this is location. Also, AC is great and hot water in shower, all really good things. Splurge and get the balcony, because if you get the $15 room, it’s an inside room - read everything carefully. But the balcony gives you breakfast with the pyramids. A couple of doors over there is heaven‘s lounge which you can get beer and alcohol at which is lovely to spend the evenings at with wine under the pyramids. You will get nothing of that here. I do have a bit of a bone to pick with trip.com because they didn’t do their research as there is no restaurant, there is no bar and there is no pool or gym in this place, which is why I downgraded the amenities. However if you were going to Giza for the pyramids, this is the place. Yes it is right behind the camel and the horse staging area so from 8 o’clock in the morning till quitting time which is 4 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have the authentic experience. If you do not like trash, if you do not like dust, if you do not like smells, you should probably just not be coming to Egypt in general! Because it is everywhere. However, if you want the authentic experience at the base of the pyramids, this is the place. Oh, and the Internet is crap… So just make sure you have a really good cellular plan because it’s no better anywhere else in Egypt either. From our experience, and we have traveled everywhere, the left over British colonies just don’t have a really great Wi-Fi infrastructure.
KKadirAytekinThe location of the hotel is both perfect and terrible 🥲 You can have your breakfast and dinner with a magnificent view of the Pyramids. Although the breakfast is not as much as a Turkish breakfast, it includes yogurt, croissants, cream cheese, bazlama and many types of Egyptian appetizers that will make you wake up without feeling hungry. The hotel rooms are ***et sufficient and clean. It has already been renovated. The employees are really caring and helpful. I would especially like you to meet the Manager Talha. He really gives you someone to accompany you outside for very low prices and allows you to visit the pyramids safely and get your ticket quickly. He also saves you from a big trouble by taking your photos. Unfortunately, the outside of the hotel is terribly crowded and a bit unsafe. But when you go back to the hotel and sit on the terrace, everything becomes fascinating again. 600ml Nestle water, tea and coffee are provided free of charge at all hours of the day. You can get as much water as you want and this is a great thing. You can come to the front of the hotel by taxi. We again paid a very small amount for our transfers through trip.com and made our transfer from the airport to the hotel - from the hotel to the airport very easily without dealing with anyone. Since I noticed that there are not many Turks who make reservations through trip.com, I would like to state that you can use it with peace of mind by writing in detail. In addition, those who want to see Tutankhamun's belongings and mask can visit the ancient Egyptian museum in the center of Cairo.
GGuest UserGreat budget hotel with unparalleled views of the Giza Complex. Stay at this hotel for the view, not for the amenities. Firstly, the shower area in the bathroom had an issue where every time you would take a shower, the water would leak from the shower area and flood the whole bathroom. Secondly, the inclusive breakfast is not a buffet and the staff would take ages to prepare everything which is not ideal when most guests have early morning tours. It took between 15-25 minutes to receive the breakfast which made us rush to get ready for the tour.
Cleanliness is also a minor issue. The rooms were fine but the lobby and the common areas were quite dirty. They were also doing some construction and there was sand everywhere.
GGuest UserThe hotel's selling point is the pyramid that can be seen from the rooftop.
It's a shame that the shower in the room was cold.
The building is not on the street and is set back a little.
Llucila Del Rosario RomeroStaying at Phoenix pyramids View it filled me with great joy to be in this hotel, and share with all its staff. And it's super cheap. The fresh, nutritious and very varied breakfast. Since before my arrival in Egypt, they were very careful that everything was fine. The service from the airport to the hotel was completely free. Then upon arrival, Mr. Hany gave me a small tour around the area and introduced me to his friends from other hotels and businesses around, who kindly and as a courtesy gift gave me fruits and water. In the morning an excellent breakfast with the spectacular view and unique of the great Pyramids. The tours they offer are different places and you can feel in this hotel like your home and with your family. Thank you d do o much to Mr Hany (from Human Resources management) Hossam (the driver) and all the people who is part of the staffs. Shukran jazilan. Hamdoullah! I hope to see all of you soon INCHALLAH 🪴🙏
