"After walking nervously for several minutes from the train station and seeing this brand-new youth hostel, I was extremely happy. The rooms, public areas, etc. were all much more pleasant. The front desk service was very friendly and efficient, especially the girl named Francesca and the other girl with glasses, but I didn't know her name. In summary, this is definitely a place worth staying. The only suggestion that needs to be given is that the bed numbers are not very obvious and are a bit difficult to find. The shower room lacks hooks for hanging clothes, which is a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the shower door is only half open, which makes it easy for water to splash out, and I think this can easily lead to damage to public hygiene. However, in any case, this brand-new youth hostel definitely offers an excellent experience!"

"Location is 10mins walk from the central station. Pretty decent. Exterior of hotel looks very dodgey but the interior is fine. Room is very dated and looks like it’s from the ‘80s. Warm at night as air conditioning wasn’t functioning well (opening the windows wasn’t an option given the noise on the streets even at night). Toilet had a funky smell and the shower head was broken. Floor also sticky and slimy. Thankful we were only staying a night! Front desk was very friendly though."

"Within walking distance from Naples Central Station, it is within walking distance to popular pizza specialty stores and long-established seafood restaurants. I was worried about whether I could reach the room in a corner of the residential area, but the owner provided accurate information in advance and I was able to check in smoothly. The room is incredibly beautifully arranged throughout the chaotic city until then, and the room is clean and large. The owner was encouraging to take this request seriously. it's recommended."

"We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. "My stay at Hotiday in Naples (Museum) was an excellent experience in every way. The property is in a truly convenient location, in the heart of the historic district and just steps from the Piazza Cavour metro station, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The modern and elegant room is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort, including a comfortable bed and pillows. It was impeccably clean, and the bathroom was perfectly equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both sweet and savory options. Everything was excellent. "The navigation was a bit off. If you follow it (the direct exit from the subway), you end up walking a long way around, about 15 minutes along the roadside, which isn't great. I recommend going to the last subway station, then taking the stairs on the right. It's about a 5-minute walk to the hotel restaurant (ground floor), and then you can go down to check in (I forget if the front desk was on -1 or -2). The hotel offers amazing views of all of Naples and even the volcano. I'd definitely stay here again!"
