"Service hotel apartment, strategic location, located in the commercial center, convenient for shopping, dining and entertainment. One bedroom, one living room and one bathroom with bathtub, open kitchen, air-conditioning, electric fan, Internet TV. The sanitary conditions are good, the decoration style is rather old, the entrance aisles are narrow, the mattresses are soft, and the lower floors have no scenery. The front desk service is enthusiastic. There is a reading room on the first floor where you can rest. There is no reception desk in the evening. Paid parking next to the hotel is $1 an hour or $5 a day."

"I stayed in one of the self-contained motel apartments at the Napier Beach Kiwi Holiday Park and Motels. At the same time there were plenty of people with tents and mobile homes/campers.
The location is excellent in that it is right on the beach and being far enough away from SH1 so that it is really calm and with no noise.
Very well looked after by friendly management. Highly recommended."

"The best hotel I stayed in in New Zealand for 20 days. All the details are very good. Although the hotel is not big, the courtyard is exquisite and beautiful, with a barbecue area and a children's play area. The front desk service was enthusiastic, delivering milk and toffee, and helping us bake lamb chops in the oven. There is a bubble bath opposite the room and a washer and dryer. All in all, everything was perfect and we had a great time."

BBarry KilkellySuitable for anyone. Great size room beautifully presented and nice and clean. Fantastic views f the bay and the sea. Woke about 6 am and watched boat after boat going out . 3 nice restaurants very close byand a great boardwalk to start the day off. Highly reccomend it.

GGuest UserPerfect place, was just a bit disappointed in the fact that there weren't any heaters in the room, only outside and didn't seem to work well so bedrooms were a bit cold (and windows were opened when we arrived so while it's good for fresh air, it made the place a bit chilly).

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel last minute and arrived within 20 minutes. The check in was smooth and everything was immaculately set up for us. The location is very good - walking distance to the beach, playground, shops and restaurants; yet far away from all the noise in the town. We stayed at the top floor and can hear seagulls from the roof. However, they were no trouble as they went to sleep when the sun was down. Lovely stay and we would book it again.

GGuest UserVery clean and quiet. WiFi, while free would not allow streaming, and access to some other general sites such as NZ Parliament. So used mobile data. Some utensils and cockery need updating and replacing e
g. chipped cockery and missing spoons. No Sky Movie channels and one documentary channel - but plenty of sports channels.
Only the plus side friendly greeting from reception and good value for money deal. Bed was comfortable, and not much noise from road. The small courtyard out the back was nice to sit in.

LLauWe were so happy the hotel has a lift so mum, 87, didn’t need to walk up stairs. The view was excellent and beautiful. With the balcony we could look at the sea freely. Staff were bro efficient just we left the room they came to tidy up. They have us lots coffee packs 😊 a bit too much

DDariaVery nice motel on the first beach line, huge room with most of facilities. Only two minuses for me - a bit far from Intercity bus stop (15 min walking), no elevator. If u are with heavy luggage - might be a problem. All other is good! Thank you!

GGuest UserThe room was very clean, but had a little smoking and damp smell. There is big jacuzzi in the room without door which believes best for honeymoon couple, but for family is not suitable. Exterior looks a little run down. Otherwise, it is ok for just a night of stays.

GGuest UserHighly recommenad staying at the Spanish Lady staff were amazing we had a great stay in our 2bdrm unit it's an older style could do with a bit of paint to upgrade but beds were comfortable kitchen was well equipped with oven an stove top cooking utensils dishes etc.
Shower toilet well stocked with towels complimentary shampoo/conditioner handwash toilet paper very clean. We stayed 2days and enjoyed our time only downside for us was the window in the toilet glass shutters allowed cold air into the room as well as a security issue for me. Overall stay was excellent access to laundry an if it was warmer weather the pool and spa would of been absolute tops for us as a family. Close to shops supermarket and city centre.
Thank you Spanish Lady we will definitely come back again when in Napier

The room literature suggested they had had problems with guests in the past and was quite unsettling to read , not entirely welcoming and full of encouragement for your stay.
