"Beyond the official Tulou attractions, the proprietress also took us to a private spot (Pic 3). It was a lovely place where adults could enjoy tea and conversation, while children could play in the water and even try catching fish. It was absolutely wonderful! It truly felt like an escape to a secluded paradise – incredibly quiet, and there wasn't even any phone signal. A perfect opportunity to completely relax and unwind. Pictures 1 and 2 showcase the collection of old furniture and farming tools the proprietress has curated on the guesthouse's rooftop. It's a very thoughtful touch, and city kids found them particularly fascinating."

"This is my second stay. I feel at home as always. The boss is very enthusiastic and even picked me up at the village entrance!
We had dinner at his house. Most of the ingredients were grown by him. They were delicious, hygienic and affordable. After dinner, the boss's father brewed handmade tea for us to taste. The tea cost hundreds of yuan. The tea sold in tea shops that costs thousands of dollars is still rich and mellow! When traveling, the purpose is to have a happy mood. It feels cost-effective and must be recommended. I will recommend it to my friends next time👍"

"The staff at this guesthouse were all incredibly warm and welcoming, which made for a great experience. Both dinner and breakfast were homemade here and tasted delicious. It was lovely to take a refreshing 50-minute walk in the cool morning air.
Just a short walk over a small bridge, the adjacent village features several traditional Hakka fortified houses. The oldest of these structures date back 800 years, while the most recent began construction in 1964.
The surrounding fields are beautiful, filled with rice paddies, lotus flowers, and passion fruit. Breathing in the fresh morning air from the fields was truly invigorating.
One minor suggestion: we couldn't locate the switch for the bathroom exhaust fan during our entire stay, even after trying all the available switches. I'm sure there's one, but clearer labeling would be very helpful."

"I've lost count of how many times I've visited Taxia Village. I absolutely love the tranquility and nature here, and the people I've met have all been so kind and pleasant.
This was my first time staying at Tingquan Inn. True to its name, the inn is right next to a spring that forms a stream. During the day, I can enjoy the mountain scenery while listening to the babbling brook, and at night, the gentle flow of the stream lulls me to sleep. I loved it so much!
The next day, the landlady personally cooked three simple dishes—absolutely amazing! First-rate! Before leaving, she even gave me some local specialty glutinous rice wine, which was wonderful.
I'll definitely stay here every time I come to Taxia. It's fantastic!"

"The Yunshui Yao Scenic Area is not very big. This homestay is very close to the waterwheel, just a few steps away. It is not too close to the scenic area and is located in a quiet area in a bustling city.
The aunties and uncles at the B&B were very welcoming. Although the breakfast was simple porridge, eggs and pickles, the pickles were pretty good. During breakfast, the uncle also introduced some cultural history of the Tulou.
The experience of staying at Yunshuiyao at night is much better than during the day and it is worth staying."

"The accommodation feels good, the room is hygienic and clean, the layout is simple and elegant. I especially like the beautiful scenery that can be seen through the two large glass windows. The boss is an enthusiastic person, and the dishes he cooks are delicious, especially the steamed light fish, which is delicious. "The girl at the front desk was very warm and thoughtful, and she would help us solve the problem in time if there were questions and answers, and give her a thumbs up 👍.
The hotel's hardware facilities are almost, the USB charging interface is not available, the sink drain connection is not closed, and the hand water comes out, making the sewage overflow, and the shower room is very inconvenient without putting things.
The decoration of the hotel is not much for a long time. The key is management. There are a lot of dirt on the tiles on the bathroom wall. I can wipe it clean with wet paper towels. No one pays attention to this. So the key is whether the management staff really pays attention to it.

"It’s a great place to lie down during the National Day~ We stayed here for three nights and went to the Shunyu Building in the village, as well as the nearby Meilin Ancient Town and Hekeng Tulou, which perfectly avoided the crowds~
The B&B retains the simplicity of the earth building architecture. At the same time, the hardware and sanitation are of good quality. The rooms are also soundproofed. From the balcony, you can see the view of the creek at the entrance of the village. You can sit on the balcony all afternoon~ A little suggestion, the water temperature adjustment of the shower is not too sensitive. You can adjust it~
Sister Jiang was really warm and thoughtful. She told us a lot about Hakka culture and the history of Tulou. She also gave us super sweet persimmons before leaving. I will definitely choose this place again next time I come to Tulou~
I also recommend the B&B’s meals and glutinous rice wine. The blind spots of the dishes are all delicious~"

What made me feel the deepest was the boss's enthusiasm. Although breakfast, lunch and dinner are home-cooked dishes, they taste very good, and the ingredients are all green foods. The most commendable thing is that I do not slaughter guests. In addition, the villa is the closest to the four dishes and one soup attraction, and it is also the highest mountain view. The couple is very friendly and helpful and easy going.
After confirmed booking, the owner immediately contacted me to understand better on our needs.
The owner even upgraded our rooms to a much bigger room at no extra charge.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable & clean.
We had our dinner at the inn. The wife is a good cook. The food is nice at a reasonable price.
We also had our breakfast here. They charge a very budget price, only rmb10 per pax for the breakfast.
We feel at home when staying here & the stay is really comfortable.
Wil choose to stay here again.

It is recommended that the mouthwash cup can be replaced with a disposable one, and multiple disposable combs can be added.

The experience exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t help but comment on it under my real name! Location and transportation are the biggest highlights. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Shangsu intersection. It is a newly opened hotel with thoughtful service details. The front desk check-in was efficient and proactively informed of the breakfast time. The guest rooms are meticulously cleaned, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the sound insulation is excellent, so even people with light sleepers can have a good night's sleep. The price-performance ratio is also outstanding. You can enjoy star-level service for around 200 yuan, which is very suitable whether it is a temporary transition or a short-term stay. In short, from the convenience of transportation, service quality to your comfort, West Coast Zhixiang Hotel has handed in a high score answer sheet.
