We drove to Yuanyang this time and saw this Shengtian on the Internet. Because it was not the peak season, we decided to check out the room before deciding whether to stay. The front desk lady took us to see the room very enthusiastically. There are three buildings in total, with different room types and a wide view. We booked it immediately. The hotel has a designated parking lot and shuttle bus. The hotel needs to take a shuttle bus to get there.
The room is spacious and tidy. The king-size bed room has a two-meter bed. The bedding is good and clean. Because the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, the quilt is also thick. The hair dryer is equipped with Lefen, which is very good. The bathroom is TOTO, the water is huge, hot and comfortable. The projection uses Dangbei, Fresnel hard screen cloth, and the hardware facilities are very good.
We live in a room with a balcony. The balcony looks out to the terraced fields. As long as the weather is good, it is not a dream to realize the beautiful scenery of the terraced fields. You can also see the local residents working from sunrise to sunset, which is really very comfortable.
The hotel has three meals a day, so it is very convenient, and you don’t have to worry about eating, and the taste is also very good. The hotel's service staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. If you come to Yuanyang, I recommend you to come here.

Our stay at the hotel was incredible!
The hotel and room are beautiful, with lovely designs and high-quality products and accessories. The bed and armchairs in the room are very comfortable. The shower and footbath were perfect after long days of hiking. The view of the rice fields is always beautiful, making it very peaceful and relaxing.
The Chinese and Western breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, allowing us to wait until dinner in the evening.
The hotel also offers a restaurant for dinner: the dishes are very varied, traditional, and, above all, always delicious.
Finally, the staff was excellent throughout our stay! Helpful, lovely, and very accommodating (they served us breakfast earlier and helped us with our bags to book a minibus for our departure). We only stayed three days, and we would have liked to have stayed longer. A little paradise. Thank you to the entire team!

A very good resort hotel. Quiet, clean, good air and good service. The sun was shining brightly in the afternoon. We followed the detailed route introduced by the front desk girl. We set out after 4 o'clock to visit Azheke Village first, and then returned to Bada to watch the sunset. It was already 8 o'clock when we returned to the hotel. We had a normal meal in the hotel restaurant (the front desk said when we checked in that we should come back to eat before 8 o'clock, otherwise the chef would be off work). The breakfast was a set meal, which was also very good, and the coffee was delicious. The next day we went to Laohutan and Duoyishu.

If you enjoy traveling off the beaten track and enjoy some peace and quiet in the mountains then this could be the hotel for you. Location is approximately a 4 hour drive from Kunming with the last 40km winding up the mountain. Hotel is located 350m down a path from the car park (contact the hotel staff and they will meet you at the car park to help with your baggage). Staff very friendly and helpful, all our requests were meet with ease. Stay here to easily visit Azheke Village (at time of review undergoing extensive renovation). We visited in at the start of August, despite rainy weather most of our stay we still managed to capture some good views down the valley.

Breakfast and dinner are at a cooperative restaurant opposite, the taste and price are OK. It is not far from the Hadanpu Observation Deck, the Dawazhe Sunset Scenic Spot and the Duoyishu Sunrise Observation Deck (I personally think the first observation deck is in a more ideal location, and the platform is also beautiful). The nearby Azhekhani Village is very nice, and the homestay there can face the terraced fields directly, which is more convenient and mature.

The room is really well designed, with two large floor-to-ceiling windows. The room is also very large, and you can see a forest. However, the functionality and hygiene are not very good. The sink is too shallow and water will spill on the floor. The sheets make our skin itchy when we sleep on them. , I don’t know if it’s a bug or something.
There is also the geographical location. It is a few kilometers away from Duoyishu, the sunrise point. You have to drive there. There is only one restaurant within walking distance, which is expensive and not delicious. There is a paid fish pond next to it for fishing. There is no parking lot, so you can only park on the side of the road. It may be difficult to park if there are many cars.

I would say everything was great except the room.
Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided.
Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

The location is great. It only takes 5 minutes to drive from the entrance of the scenic spot. After two days of visiting various scenic spots, I found that it is convenient to get there. It is also the middle point of the hiking route from Jingkou Village to Bada Village.
Located in a traditional Hani village, there are sacrificial halls, village gates, and many mushroom houses. The village still retains the traditional production and lifestyle. Elders and cows are the most common. Chickens and ducks are running around. Everywhere you walk, there are mushrooms. You can take photos and check in, giving you a strong rural feel.
The hotel's hygiene is commendable because it is newly opened and all facilities and equipment are relatively new. The bathroom is TOTO and the sheets and quilts are very good to the touch. I read online reviews that the fog here is very heavy and I am afraid of humidity, but there is no smell at all in the room. No, the next day I saw that the cleaning staff were still using disinfecting lights in every room.
The restaurant is on the edge of a terraced field 100 meters away. Sitting by the window is a picture. The dishes are more local, delicious and not expensive. The ingredients are fresh. There is a shelf full of brewed wine. We all tasted it. Very tasty.

The B&B has a dedicated parking lot, which is a few hundred meters away from the B&B. There are steps and stone paths, and it is a test of physical strength to carry a lot of things. The B&B sister will help the guests carry their luggage. To be honest, it is hard to bear it. Fortunately, we don’t have suitcases and can basically solve it by ourselves. The B&B is located next to the terraced fields, with a good view, comfortable facilities, good hygiene, and good sound insulation and heat preservation of the balcony doors and windows. The only problem is that the room door is not soundproof. When a wave of ******* guests are unscrupulous, they continue to make loud noises upstairs and downstairs for several hours at night, affecting rest. You can eat in the B&B, which is very convenient. It is not easy to open a B&B in the mountains to be hygienic and comfortable, and there are several local Hani aunts and sisters employed. Full marks!

We spent our stay at this hotel as a couple and were absolutely thrilled! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, which immediately created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. What was particularly great was that our host, despite our lack of Chinese, was very keen to explain a lot about the area and give us valuable tips. Thanks to the translator app, this worked really well. He and his wife are incredibly kind and make every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible without making us feel cramped.
A real highlight was our room. The view of the surrounding rice terraces was breathtaking! On a clear morning, you can witness a true natural spectacle. The glass front of the room offers a fantastic view. If you want a little more privacy, you can simply draw the curtains.
This honestay is the perfect place to experience traditional Hani life and, in the truest sense of the word, slow down. Our hosts took us to the market in the neighboring town and explained the local specialties to us – it was a wonderful experience.
The room itself was particularly comfortable: A heated mattress that could be individually adjusted ensured cozy evenings in bed while also allowing fresh air into the room. The stay was so pleasant that we spontaneously decided to extend our stay by a day – and that was absolutely the right decision!
We are very happy to have chosen this accommodation. Many thanks again to our wonderful hosts – you made our stay unforgettable!

GGuest UserMy husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was very quiet, and the ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Our room included Tickets to 3 of the main terraces with breakfast. I think this is enough to enjoy your stay in Yuanyang. We also walked to one of the smaller terraces right behind the hotel. It leads to a small Hani village. We did find their restaurant a bit expensive so we walked down the street to restaurants that are a little more affordable.

GGuest UserThe inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!

SShenzhenwendaThe only Internet-famous B&B in Duoyishuxiazhai that is close to the terraced fields is indeed a place where you can enjoy the view of the terraced fields while lying on the bed or in the bathtub. Although the room is not big, the design style is bold, and it is the first time for us to see the open bathroom and bathtub. However, it is convenient to actually experience it for two nights. It is suitable for couples or couples who have a very intimate relationship.
The cook, Sister Bai, is from the same village. Her home is diagonally across the street. She has a cheerful and outgoing personality, and the food she cooks is delicious. She recommends dried beef, mint beef, rice noodles, and fried wild vegetables that are also delicious. There is no need to go out to find food.
It takes about 15 minutes from the B&B to reach the village's viewing platform, where you can see the spectacular terraced fields. Opposite is the Duoyishu viewing platform. There are very few people in this place. If there is a drone for aerial photography, it can be compared with Duoyishu Observation Deck.

AAaron CedricI love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is great. The sunny rooms are quiet, bright, spacious and dry. There is parking and the view is great. Walk left for five minutes to the Duoyishu Viewing Platform, go down the stairs and turn right for 100 meters to reach the village and terraced fields. There is a Hani fire pit next to it and the Hani cuisine is delicious. What’s even better is that the hotel provided Hani costumes for our travel photography for free. During the three-day and two-night trip, we changed clothes every day and went out to take photos all day long. We had a great time at Doi Tree with its beautiful scenery, delicious food and great accommodation.

DDangdixiangdaoyangguangxiangdaoA very unique experience. The B&B is located next to the observation deck. Some rooms in the hotel and the hotel's own balcony are the viewing points. You can watch the sunrise and sunset without leaving home. The boss is a very affectionate person with stories and background. Different volunteers come to the hotel every day to serve guests, including cute children, who treat the hotel as an amusement park. There are also docile dogs and lazy cats. This is a paradise. If I have the chance, I hope I can take my children to live here for a long time next year. There is a home here, a school here, and a party feel. Personal feelings vary from person to person. For me, this is not a hotel, it is the home of an old friend, a place that I will miss even though I am thousands of miles away.
